Co-director of the hugely popular Bra Boys, Macario De Souza's latest feature doco, Fighting Fear, delves into the tumultuous lives of two world-class athletes and best mates facing against-all-odds personal challenges: pro-surfer Mark Matthews and MMA fighter Richie Vaculik. They both have big ambitions, but when their adrenalin-seeking antics and hardened partying turns sour, it sets in motion a life-changing series of events that threatens to derail everything they have worked so hard for.
 
Narrated by Joel Edgerton, featuring a cracking soundtrack and a fistful of insightful interviews from some of the world's most influential action sports athletes, Fighting Fear is a jaw-dropping and surprisingly deeply moving doco.
