Competition: Win Tickets To See Pam Ayres

She's a poet, songwriter, performer and TV presenter, and this month she's touring Australia – Pam Ayres.

Since her first appearance on television over 35 years ago, Pam has been an audience favourite throughout the world for her observations on the comic details of everyday life, and for highlighting the absurdity lurking behind the mundane.

We have two double passes to give away for her performances in:
 •Perth (Thursday, 10 November)
 •Nowra (Saturday, 19 November)
 •Chatswood (Wednesday, 23 November)
 •Sydney City (Thursday, 24 November)
 •Melbourne (Friday, 25 November)
 •Frankston (Tuesday, 29 November)
 •Adelaide (Friday, 2 December).

To be in the running, you need to tell us (in 25 words or fewer) why you think you should get the tickets. You'll also need to tell us which performance you'd like to attend.

Email your answer to switched.on@abc.net.au.

For the Perth tickets, this competition closes on Wednesday, 9 November 2011. For all other concerts, this competition closes Wednesday, 16 November 2011. You can read the terms and conditions here.
