By entering the “Clean & Win” competition, you are agreeing to the following Terms and Conditions:
1. TERMS & CONDITIONS
1.1 Information on how to enter forms part of the terms of entry. To the extent of any inconsistency between these Terms and Conditions and any other reference to this competition, these Terms and Conditions prevail.
2. ELIGIBILITY
2.1 Subject to clause 2.2, entry is open to all residents of Australia over the age of 18 who have fulfilled the requirements in clause 3.1 and 3.2. The Terms & Conditions will be available at Participating Outlets for the duration of the Promotional Period.
2.2 Employees and their immediate families of the Promoter and associated agencies and companies are not eligible to enter this competition. Immediate family means any of the following: spouse, ex-spouse, defacto spouse, child or step child (whether natural or by adoption), parent, step parent, grandparent, step grandparent, uncle, aunt, niece, nephew, brother, sister, step brother, step sister or 1st cousin. The Promoter is Britex Carpet Care Pty Ltd (ABN 80 093 729 787) of 22-26, Joseph Street, Blackburn North Victoria 3131.
3. COMPETITION ENTRY
3.1 The competition commences at 06:00 AEDST on the 1st of November 2011 and closes 23:59 AEDST on the 5th of March 2012. (“Promotional Period”). Close dates for each draw are listed below in clause 3.5. Only entries submitted and received by the Promoter prior to the close dates will be eligible for entry to the draws.
3.2 In order to enter, you must be over the age of 18 years (as of the date of entry) and hire a Britex or RugDoctor Carpet Care Cleaning Machine from participating outlets during the Promotional Period. To submit your entry you must visit the website
www.www.cleanandwin.com.au and follow the prompts to enter. You must enter your name, address, suburb, postcode, daytime telephone number, email and the hire agreement number (only entrants who have entered agreements from Woolworths without an agreement number are exempt needing a hire agreement number) to verify you have hired a Britex or Rug Doctor Carpet Care Cleaning Machine. You will also need to add a small statement on why you love to use the Britex or the Rug Doctor Carpet Care Cleaning Machine. Entrants who do not have internet access are also invited to send in entries via post to Clean and Win, 22-26 Joseph Street, Blackburn North, Victoria, Australia 3130. Mail entries must include the entrant’s name, address, suburb, postcode, daytime telephone number, and the hire agreement number to verify you have hired a Britex or Rug Doctor Carpet Care Cleaning Machine (only entrants who have entered agreements from Woolworths without an agreement number are exempt needing a hire agreement number).
3.3 Entrants in the competition may enter the competition only once per Britex or Rug Doctor Carpet Care Cleaning Machine hire agreement entered into (identified by hire agreement number unless entered into at Woolworths in which case the Promoter will verify against the database of agreements). The name and address entered must match the hire agreement to be eligible. Entrants may only enter in their own name.
3.5. All draws will take place at the Promoter’s premises. Draws will be conducted for all entries received from the open date and time (06:00 AEDST on 01/11/2011) until the following weekly closes dates and times:

3.6. If required, the Promoter will conduct an unclaimed prize draw at the Promoter’s premises at 11:00 AEST on 11/06/2012 to distribute any prizes unclaimed by this date. Winners of the unclaimed prize draw will be notified in writing within 2 business days of the draw and their names will be published in the public notices section of The Australian newspaper on 14/06/2012.
4. PRIZES
4.1 There are a total of 15 prizes to be won (one per week for 15 weeks). The total maximum value of the prize pool is $30,000.00 (Including GST). The maximum prize value per winner per week is $2,000.00.
The winner each week will receive one prize, as set out in clause 4.2. below. Prior to awarding any prizes, The Promoter reserves the right to validate the transaction receipt details provided by the Entrant when entering the Promotion.

4.3 One winner will be announced each week and will be listed on the competition page found at
www.www.cleanandwin.com.au on the Thursday following each draw. Winners will be notified by phone, email and in writing within 2 business days of each draw. Winners names will be published in public notices section of The Australian newspaper on 13 March 2012.
4.4 All entries, including any answers submitted, become the property of the Promoter. In participating in the prizes, winners agree to participate and co-operate as required in all editorial activities relating to the Competition. The winners agree to grant the Promoter a perpetual and non-exclusive licence to use such footage and photographs in all media worldwide and the winners will not be entitled to any fee for such use.
4.5 The prize is not transferable or exchangeable. The prize will be sent to the winner to the name and address as entered in their entry to the competition. The prize must be taken as stated and no compensation will be payable by the Promoter if the recipient is unable to use the prize as stated in these Terms and Conditions. A prize cannot be transferred to any other person or residential address location, unless agreed to by the Promoter in its discretion.

5. PRIVACY AND LIABILITY
5.1. All entries and any copyright subsisting in the entries become and remain the property of the Promoter (and Rug Doctor along with any other associated companies) who may publish or cause to be published any of the entries received. The Promoter and its related entities collects entrants’ personal information for the purpose of conducting and promoting this competition (including but not limited to determining and notifying winners) and for related purposes which would reasonably be expected without your permission. For example, we may from time to time use your personal information to provide you with information about products and services which we expect may be of interest to you. However, we do respect your right to direct us not to do this if and when any future communication is sent to you by the Promoter. We do not sell personal information to other organisations. We may disclose personal information to essential service providers who provide services in connection with our products and services. You may request access to your personal information by writing to The Privacy Officer, Legal Compliance Department, Britex Carpet Care P/L, 22 Joseph Street, Blackburn North, Victoria, Australia 3130.
5.2. The Promoter (subject to state gaming agency approval) reserves the right to amend, cancel or suspend this competition if an event beyond the control of the Promoter corrupts or affect the administration security, fairness, integrity or proper conduct of this competition. The Promoter will disqualify any individual who has tampered with the entry process or any other aspect of this competition.
5.3. The Promoter, associated agencies and companies is not liable or responsible for any problems or technical malfunction of any telephone network or lines, computer on line systems, servers, or providers, computer equipment, software, technical problems of the phone or of any phone network, or any misadventure, accident, injury, loss (including but not limited to consequential loss) or claim that may occur during the draw; whilst undertaking any travel won on or connected with their entry into the draw; in the participation in any prize; as a consequence of late, lost or misdirected mail, email SMS or phone call; due to the broadcast of any program relating to the competition or the publication of any material, including any statements made by any compere, staff member, journalist, other entrants or any other person; any injury or damage to entrant's or any other person's computer software or phone; or any combination thereof, related to or resulting from participation or sending or receiving of any communication or of any materials in this competition.
5.4. Any cost associated with accessing the promotional website is the entrant's responsibility and is dependent on the Internet service provider used.
