To enter, eligible entrants must visit
www.facebook.com/coateshire, then follow the link to the Coates Hire Weekly Facebook competition. This includes liking the Coates Hire Facebook page. Eligible entrants must answer the weekly question by posting to the Competition Wall between 26/09/11 and 11:59pm AEDST on 4/12/11 (“Promotional Period”):
Answers to questions will be judged on creative and artistic merit as deemed by the judges. No correspondence will be entered into regarding judging of answers. The promoter’s decision is final.
Prizes will be awarded weekly as per the prize & date table below.
Employees (and their immediate families) of the Promoter and agencies associated with this promotion are ineligible to enter. Immediate family means any of the following: spouse, ex-spouse, de-facto spouse, child or step-child (whether natural or by adoption), parent, step-parent, grandparent, step-grandparent, uncle, aunt, niece, nephew, brother, sister, step-brother, step-sister or 1st cousin.

Any ancillary costs associated with redeeming the vouchers are not included. Any unused balance of a voucher will not be awarded as cash. Redemption of a voucher is subject to any terms and conditions of the issuer including those specified on the voucher.
The Promoter’s decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into.
Subject to the unclaimed prize draw clause, if for any reason a winner does not take a prize (or an element of a prize), then the prize (or that element of the prize) will be forfeited.
The V8 Super Car race general admission double pass prize is only available for a 2012 V8 Super Car event closest to the winner. In the event that an unclaimed prize draw winner wins this prize, and the 2012 V8 Super Car event closest to that winner has already occurred, the Promoter will award the winner with a $300 Ticketek voucher.
If any prize (or part of any prize) is unavailable, the Promoter, in its absolute discretion, reserves the right to substitute the prize (or part of the prize) with a prize to the equal value and/or specification, subject to any written directions from a regulatory authority.
Total prize pool value is up to RRP $1,239. Prizes, or any unused portion of a prize, are not transferable or exchangeable and cannot be taken as cash, unless stipulated otherwise.
An unclaimed prize draw to award any unclaimed prizes, will take place at IdeaWorks level 14, 35 Clarence St SYDNEY NSW 2000 on 28/03/12 at 3:00pm AEDST, subject to any written directions from a regulatory authority. Winner(s), if any, will be notified in writing within two (2) days of the draw. If any prizes are awarded via the unclaimed prize draw, the winner(s) will be published in The Australian on 04/04/12.
If this promotion is interfered with in any way or is not capable of being conducted as reasonably anticipated due to any reason beyond the control of the Promoter, including but not limited to technical difficulties, unauthorised intervention or fraud, the Promoter reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to the fullest extent permitted by law: (a) to disqualify any entrant; or (b) subject to any written directions from a regulatory authority, to modify, suspend, terminate or cancel the promotion, as appropriate.
Except for any liability that cannot be excluded by law, including the Non-Excludable Guarantees, the Promoter (including its officers, employees and agents) excludes all liability (including negligence), for any personal injury; or any loss or damage (including loss of opportunity); whether direct, indirect, special or consequential, arising in any way out of the following: (a) any technical difficulties or equipment malfunction (whether or not under the Promoter’s control); (b) any theft, unauthorised access or third party interference; (c) any entry or prize claim that is late, lost, altered, damaged or misdirected (whether or not after their receipt by the Promoter) due to any reason beyond the reasonable control of the Promoter; (d) any variation in prize value to that stated in these Terms and Conditions;(e) any tax liability incurred by a winner or entrant; or (f) use of a prize.
