Competition Terms and Conditions
 
 
1.            Information on how to enter and other details contained within the Mopar website (www.mopar.com.au) and/or the Mopar Australia Facebook Page form part of these conditions of entry. Participating in the Competition is deemed acceptance of these conditions of entry. Any entry not complying with these conditions of entry is invalid.
 
2.            Entry is open to residents of Australia, over the age of 18 who hold a current Australian driver’s licence. Employees & their immediate families of Chrysler Australia Pty Ltd and its agencies, retailers and suppliers associated with the Competition are ineligible to enter.
 
3.            The Competition commences at 12:00pm on 20 October 2011 and all entries must be submitted online at www.mopar.com.au no later than 12:00pm on 15 December 2011 (“Competition period”). All times are AEST and AEDT during daylight savings periods in Melbourne, Victoria. Entries received after this time (irrespective of when sent) will not be included in the Competition.
 
4.            To be able to participate in the Competition, the following must occur:
·         An entrant must outline in 25 words or less on “where you would like to go” with the travel voucher and their vehicle during the Competition period on www.mopar.com.au and prize.
·         Entrants must enter specific details requested on the entry form for the Competition
 
5.            The Promoter reserves the right to verify the validity of entries and reserves the right to disqualify any entrant for tampering with the entry process or for submitting an entry which is not in accordance with these conditions of entry.
 
6.            There will be eight (Cool prizes, with each prize of one (1) $5,000 travel voucher. The total prize pool will be $40,000.
 
7.            Entries to the promotion will be judged by the marketing and PR team of the promoter, in the promoter’s head office, 20th of December 2011 at 4pm, AEDT. The winners will be the 8 persons who are judged to have submitted the best “where you would like to go” responses. The entries will be judged on the skill of the entrants. There is no element of chance in determining winners.
 
8.            Each prize comprises a voucher entitling the winner to book travel and/or accommodation to the value of $5,000 with a travel agent chosen by the promoter. The use of the voucher is subject to the terms and conditions of the travel agent nominated by the promoter. The promoter does not take any responsibility for the lost or stolen vouchers and the vouchers cannot be replaced by the promoter in the event of loss or theft. The prizes will be forwarded to the winners by mail within 20 days of the draw.
 
9.            The winners will be notified by email or by phone and in writing within 2 days after the draw and the winners names will be published in the Australian newspaper on the 23rd of December 2011.
 
10.          The prizes are not transferable and cannot be taken as cash.
 
11.          In accepting the prize, the winner acknowledges that the winner may incur ongoing costs associated with the prize which are the entire responsibility of the winner.
 
12.          It is a condition of winning that a winner provides the Promoter with the winner’s full name, address and current Australian driver’s licence prior to the awarding of the prize. The winner must provide the Promoter with certified copies of all required documentation as required by the Promoter before the prize is awarded.
 
13.          Entries not completed in accordance with these conditions of entry or received after close of entry will not be considered. Incomplete entries will be disregarded. The judge’s decision in relation to any aspect of the Competition is final and binding on every person who enters. No correspondence will be entered into.
 
14.          The use of any automated entry software or any other mechanical or electronic means that permits the entrant to automatically enter repeatedly is prohibited.
 
15.          The winner is advised that tax implications may arise from the winning of the prize and the winner should seek independent financial advice prior to acceptance of the prize.
 
16.          A copy of the Promoter’s privacy policy can be viewed at www.mopar.com.au.
 
17.          If a prize remains unclaimed after 14 days or forfeited through ineligibility or otherwise, a new winner will be chosen by the promoter. The new winner will be notified by email or telephone and in writing on Monday, 9th January 2011 and the new winner will be published in the Australian newspaper on the 12th of January 2011.
 
18.          The Promoter is not liable for any loss or damage whatsoever which is suffered, including but not limited to indirect or consequential loss, or for personal injury suffered or sustained during    the course of accepting or using the prize, except for any liability which cannot be excluded by law.
 
19.          The Promoter’s decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into.
 
20.          In the event that the prize is unavailable despite the Promoter’s reasonable endeavours to procure within Australia, the Promoter reserves the right to substitute a different prize of similar value.
 
21.          The winner agrees to the use of the winner’s name, image and photograph/s for publicity and promotional purposes, without compensation, and agrees that the Promoter will own copyright in any such images and photograph/s and in all material incorporating the photograph/s.
 
22.          If for any reason the Competition is not capable of running as planned (whether caused by infection by computer virus, line drop out, bugs, tampering, unauthorised intervention, fraud, technical failures or any other cause beyond the control of the Promoter which corrupts or affects the administration, security, fairness or integrity of the Competition), the Promoter reserves the right in its sole discretion, (subject to any written direction given by a relevant regulatory authority), to cancel, terminate, modify or suspend the Competition.
 
23.          Entries are deemed to be received at the time of receipt into the Promoter’s database. The Promoter is not responsible for receipt of incorrect, inaccurate or incomplete information, either caused by website users or by any of the equipment or programming associated or utilised in this competition, or by any technical error that may occur in the course of administration of this competition. The Promoter assumes no responsibility for any error, omission, interruption, deletion, defect, delay in operation or transmission, communications line failure, theft or destruction or unauthorised access to or alteration of entries.
 
24.          All information collected by the Promoter will become the property of the Promoter.  Personal information supplied will be collected and utilised for awarding the prizes and the Promoter may also use this information for improving goods and services and to contact participants with future and special offers. By entering the Competition, each entrant agrees in addition to the above uses, that the Promoter may publish or cause to be published each winner's name and suburb in any media.
 
25.          The Promoter of the Competition is Chrysler Australia Pty Ltd (ABN 23 125 956 505), 1-27 Princes Highway, Dandenong South, Victoria, 3175.
