Terms and Conditions
Promoter’s details
1. The promoter is South Bank Corporation ABN 95 927 817 538, Ground Floor, South Bank House, Stanley Street Plaza, Brisbane Qld 4101 (“the Promoter”).
Who can enter?

Entry is open to all Queensland residents. Entrants under the age of 18 years must obtain the permission of a parent or guardian over the age of 18 years before entering the Competition.3. Entry must be by an individual, not a company or other organisation.
4. Directors, management and employees of the Promoter and any agencies, firms and/or companies associated with the Competition (including suppliers of the prize) and their immediate families are not eligible to enter.
How to enter
5. The Competition commences at 9.00am Australian Eastern Standard Time (AEST) on Friday 18 November 2011 and finishes on Monday 19 December 2011. All entries must be received by 12 midnight (AEST) on Monday 19 December 2011. Late entries will not be accepted.
6. To enter the Competition, submit your handmade Christmas gift ideas for example, family favourite recipes or craft projects. You must include a photograph of the project and a short description (maximum one (1) A4 page) on how to make it. Submit your entry via the web site
www.visitsouthbank.com.au and follow the directions on that page.
7. Each entry must contain your name, email address, postal address and a daytime telephone number. If you do not supply all of the required information, your entry will be deemed invalid.
8. You may enter the Competition as many times as you like.
9. Any person who, in the opinion of the Promoter, tampers or interferes with the entry process in any way, or who does not properly comply with the entry process or these terms and conditions is not eligible to win.
10. Entries which are considered by the Promoter, in the Promoter’s sole discretion, to be offensive, defamatory, contain offensive material, offend third party intellectual rights, are incomplete, incorrect or incomprehensible, will be disqualified from the Competition and removed from the Competition website.
Selection of the Winner and Major Prize
11. Valid entries will be judged by the Promoter’s panel of judges. The entry which is judged to be the best, most original and creative by the Promoter’s panel of judges, in their absolute discretion, will win the major prize.
12. The major prize is a gift voucher for 2 nights accommodation including full buffet breakfast for two adults at Novotel Twin Waters on the Sunshine Coast, valued at over $700. The gift voucher is valid for 6 months from the date notified by the Promoter.
13. The winner must contact Novotel Twin Waters for booking information and terms and conditions of claiming the major prize. Contact details for Novotel Twin Waters will be provided on the winner’s gift voucher. Winner must arrange own transport to and from Novotel Twin Waters.
14. In addition to the major prize, there are ten (10) minor prizes to be won. After the major prize winner, the next ten (10) best entries which are judged to be the best, most original and creative by the Promoter’s panel of judges, in their absolute discretion, will win a minor prize. The minor prize is a Re-sew-cool craft kit valued at $18 each. The minor prize winners will be identified immediately after the major prize winner.

The minor prize winners will be contacted by phone on Thursday 22 December 2011. The craft kits need to be collected from the promoter by 1 January 2012. The minor prizes will not be available for collection from the Promoter on a public holiday or when the Promoter’s offices are closed.
15. The winner of the major prize will be contacted by phone on Thursday 22 December 2011. The gift voucher for the major prize will be available for collection from the Promoter, but not on a public holiday or when the Promoter’s offices are closed.
16. If the gift voucher for the major prize is not collected from the Promoter by 1 January 2012, the winner will be disqualified and the Promoter’s panel of judges may select a runner up winner, in their absolute discretion, to award the major prize. The runner up winner will be contacted by phone by 6 January 2012.
17. Decisions of the Promoter and its panel of judges are final and binding and no correspondence will be entered into.
Your warranties
18. By entering the Competition, you warrant that:
a) The details contained in and with your entry are true and correct;
b) You have all necessary rights and licenses to enable you to accept these Terms and Conditions and grant the rights contained in these Terms and Conditions to the Promoter;
c) You are the owner of the images submitted with your entry or you are authorised to submit the images on the owner’s behalf;
d) Your entry is your original work and has not previously been communicated to the public;
e) If the Promoter exercises the rights contained in these Terms and Conditions, it will not infringe the rights of any third parties.
19. You indemnify the Promoter against any loss, damage or claim for compensation resulting from your breach of any of the warranties contained in Condition 15.
General
20. 17. The major prize is not transferable, negotiable or redeemable for cash.
21. The Promoter accepts no responsibility for late, lost or misdirected entries or for any technical difficulties or periods of unavailability of the entry mechanism.
22. Once submitted, your entry is the property of the Promoter and it will not be returned to you. You grant the Promoter and its licensees and assignees a royalty-free, non-exclusive licence to exercise, in the Promoter’s sole discretion, all rights in perpetuity in your entry and the contents of it, including images. This licence includes all necessary rights to allow the Promoter to display, distribute, reproduce and create derivatives of the content, in whole or in part, without further review or consent from you, to the public throughout the world on any media platform.
23. Subject to the Promoter’s privacy policy at
www.southbankcorporation.com.au/privacy, you agree that the Promoter can use your entry and personal details for the Promoter’s promotional, marketing and publicity purposes in any media without notice and without any fee being paid to you.
24. You agree to be contacted by the Promoter about the Competition and to participate in the Promoter’s publicity activities as reasonably requested, including being photographed by the Promoter for use by the Promoter in future marketing and promotional activities, without any fee being paid to you.
25. You agree that by submitting your entry, you will be entered into and registered on the South Bank Corporation database so that you can receive regular updates, marketing and promotional material from the Promoter. There is no fee for this subscription.
