This competition is open to residents of Australia that, at the time of entry to the competition, have a current home loan with an Australian lender on an Australian property. ________________________________________________________________
TERMS & CONDITIONSThe promotion "Want to have a $50,000 home loan helping hand by Yellow Brick Road?" will run from 7 November 2011 to 31st January 2012. The Promoter is Yellow Brick Road Holdings Limited.
1. Information on how to enter and prize details form part of these terms and conditions. Participation in this competition is deemed acceptance of these terms and conditions of entry.
2. Subject to the other limitations set out here, to enter and be eligible to win, entrants must follow all instructions stated on the online entry form and describe in 100 words or less "What's the best piece of advice that you would provide to a friend to help them manage their money and home loan?"
3. Entry is open only to residents of Australia that at the time of entry to the competition have a current home loan with an Australian lender on an Australian property.
4. Employees of the Promoter and their immediate families and agencies associated with this promotion are ineligible to enter.
5. The competition will commence at 12:00PM AEST on Monday 7 November 2011, and entries will close at 11:59 PM AEST on Tuesday 31 January 2012.
6. The entrants will be judged and winners selected on or before Monday 6 February 2012 at the offices of the Promoter. The winners will be notified by phone and/or email.
7. The grand prize will be awarded to the eligible entrant who submits the most creative and well-written entry as determined by the Promoter in its absolute discretion. This is a game of skill; chance plays no part in determining the winner.
8. The grand prize winner will win a payment made on their nominated mortgage to the value of $50,000.00 from Yellow Brick Road Wealth Management Pty Limited, ABN 93 128 650 037 (AFSL 323 825) ("YBRWM"). Where the balance on the existing loan is less than $50,000.00 Yellow Brick Road will only pay the outstanding value of the debt.
9. The second and third placed entrants will each win an Apple iPad 32 GB with WIFI.
10. The fourth, fifth and sixth placed entrants will each receive an IKEA gift voucher to the value of $250.0011. Prizes must be redeemed in full by 1st December 2012.
12. Judges decision in relation to all aspects of this promotion is final and binding on all who enter and no correspondence will be entered into. Prizes are not transferable or exchangeable and cannot be taken as cash.
13. The Promoter reserves the right to request the winner to provide proof of identity and proof of residency at the nominated prize delivery address. Identification considered suitable for verification is at the discretion of the Promoter.
14. The Promoter accepts no responsibility for any late, lost or misdirected entries.
15. If for any reason the Promoter cannot contact the winner to claim the prize or if the winner is unable to accept any part of the prize, that winner will forfeit the prize and it will be awarded to the entrant with the next best selected entry in the competition which has not already been awarded a prize. The Promoter will not be liable to a winner who cannot be contacted.
16. Except for any liability that cannot be excluded by law, YBRWM and the Promoter (including its officers, employees and agents) exclude all liability (including negligence), for any personal injury; or any loss or damage (including loss of opportunity); whether direct, indirect, special or consequential, arising in any way out of the promotion, including, but not limited to, where arising out of the following:
(a) any technical difficulties or equipment malfunction (whether or not under the Promoter's control);
(b) any theft, unauthorised access or third party interference;
(c) any entry or prize claim that is late, lost, altered, damaged or misdirected (whether or not after their receipt by the Promoter) due to any reason;
(d) any variation in prize value;
(e) any tax liability incurred by a winner or entrant;
(f) redemption of a prize and/or
(g) participation in the promotion.
17. Neither the Promoter or YBRWM will be liable for any fees or charges which result from the payment made on a nominated mortgage.
18. It is a condition of accepting the prize that the winner may be required to sign a legal release in a form determined by the Promoter in its absolute discretion.
19. The Promoter reserves the right to publish/promote the winner's story and information on how they may have benefited from the prize.
20. All entries become the property of the Promoter. The collection, use and disclosure of personal information provided in connection with this competition is governed by the Privacy Notice of the Promoter (found on our website:
www.ybr.com.au)
21. The winner may be featured on our website. It is a condition of accepting the prize that the winner provide the Promoter with any photographs of and/or information regarding the redeemed prize for inclusion on our website or blog. Inclusion of any such feature (including but not limited to creative control and date of inclusion) will remain at the complete discretion of the Promoter.
22. The Promoter reserves the right to use any content submitted by competition entrants, and by submitting such content entrants agree to transfer all copyright and IP rights to the Promoter (or its nominee) for the submitted content.
23. By entering the competition and providing an email address, the entrant consents to receipt of any email regarding the competition, and where an entrant has opted to receive news and updates from the Promoter, consents to the receipt of emails which inform the entrant of the Promoter's other publications, products, services and events, and to promote third party goods and services the Promoter considers an entrant may be interested in.
