For More Than The Cookies
If you want to hear an inspiring story, that’ll really make your day, read this.
These cookies are made in the Snowy Mountains in Jindabyne, New South Wales, Australia. The factory is surrounded by fresh mountain air and pure clean water.
The owners are Nolen and Daisy Oayda. Nolen is a former professional skier (how cool and HOT is that!) and they were both passionate travelers, having spent a lot of time in the northern part of our beautiful planet.
When you read their story of how this family built their business with pure Love, Sweat and Tears…
You can’t help but want to support this Australian company and see them succeed.
I can see why they’ve been successful with obtaining grants and official support from the Australian government.

Nolen and Daisy supply to cafes and other businesses, and have a contract with our national airline (which is how I discovered them).
They really pride themselves on high quality ingredients, including:
large chunks of couverture chocolate (very high quality with extra cocoa)
free range eggs
butter, not margarine
no artificial colours, flavours or added preservatives.
You gotta love ‘em, for The Best Answer to an interview question (given in The Weekend Australian newspaper):
Most embarrassing pantry item?
“An open container of infant formula, which is embarrassing only because we bought it when our six year old was a baby.”
How awesome is that??? Now, I don’t feel like such a domestic failure!
For you rocking readers who took the time to read more about this wonderful family business, you will get an extra entry in the Giveaway if you mention Nolen and Daisy’s names in your blog comment below.
GOOD LUCK!!!
