Monthly Game Contest 1.
This promotion is open only to Australian residents aged 18 years and over. Each monthly contest starts at AEST midnight on the first day of the month
and ends at AEST 11:59pm on the last day of the month. Winners will be notified at Reader’s Digest 80 Bay St Ultimo NSW 2007 after the contest closes.
2. The enclosed promotional material, information on how to enter and prize details form part of these rules. To be eligible to enter the contest, you must reply in accordance with the conditions specified in this promotion. Employees of Reader's Digest and Direct Holdings and members of their immediate families are not eligible to enter. Reader's Digest cannot accept responsibility for lost, misdirected or delayed entries.
3. For the purpose of the monthly game contest, that month’s game will have its scoreboard reset from AEST midnight on the first day of the month of which that game is the featured game contest.
4. Reader’s Digest will conduct the contest and the winner declared will be final and no further correspondence will be entered into.

The top result on the scoreboard at AEST midnight on the last day of each monthly game contest will win a prize. Each prize be valued at approximately $100. Total number of prizes: 12. 6. The prizewinners will be notified by email after each contest closes and published on our website -
www.readersdigest.com.au/winners. If for any reason a winner does not take the prize within six weeks of the competition closing, the prize will be forfeited.
7. In the event that there is a tie for points to any prize-eligible position, there will be a further 25 words or less contest between those on the shared points. The response judged the best will be declared the winner of that prize and the other entrant will drop to the next place, all other placegetters will drop accordingly.
8. All entries become the property of the promoter. The promoter may use the entrants' names, addresses and photographs for promotional, marketing and publicity purposes. The promoter's decision on all matters pertaining to this promotion is final.
9. If entry is to be made via the internet at
www.readersdigest.com.au, the close time and date for entry into the promotion is 11.59PM AEST on the deadline date stated. There is a maximum of two entries per household. Any cost associated with accessing the promotional website is the entrant’s responsibility and is dependent on the Internet service provider used. The promoter accepts no responsibility for late, non-directed or misdirected e-mail, for any technical hardware or software failures of any kind, lost or unavailable network connections or failed, incomplete, garbled or delayed computer transmission or any human error which may occur in the receipt or processing of entries. Further, Reader’s Digest accepts no responsibility for damage to computer systems from downloading any information necessary to participate in the trade promotion. Reader’s Digest (subject to relevant authorities) reserves the right to terminate or modify the trade promotion or the on-line portion of the trade promotion at any time if the Reader’s Digest on-line service is no longer available or is compromised by any virus, bugs, or other intervention beyond Reader’s Digest’s control. In either of these events, prizes may be awarded based on electronic entries received prior to date of termination.
