Terms and Conditions
1. The prize consists of a trip for two people supplied by Mountain Designs and Peregrine Adventures.
7 day trip for two to the Canyons and Indian Lands (Valued at A$3,160) - includes professional tour guide, transport, sight seeing (including entrance fees where relevant)
Return Economy International flights for two from their nearest capital city to Los Angeles & Return Economy flights from LA to Las Vegas (maximum value of A$7,000, including taxes - Value is depended on departure city with Australia or New Zealand, subject to change and seasonal fluctuations)
Accommodation - 6 nights in comfortable hotels
Mountain Designs gift voucher valued at AU$500
Not included: Airport transfers, airport departure taxes, visa, insurance, meals, any activities, tips and items of personal nature
2. Prize is to be taken between 1 February 2012 and 31st December 2012
3. The prize is a moderate walking trip. A reasonable level of fitness is required.
4. Estimated prize value may fluctuate due to time of the year the trip is taken and in relation to airline high and low seasons. The value of this prize, itinerary and inclusions are correct at time of printing and subject to change at any time. Any change to the prize between the publishing date and the date the prize is claimed is not the responsibility of the promoter(s) – Peregrine Adventures and Mountain Designs.
5. Trip is subject to availability at time of reservation. The winner must contact Peregrine Adventures at least 56 days prior to the desired departure date.
6. Trip is provided on a twin share basis. Winner and guest must travel together.
7. Age restrictions apply. The decision for any person under 18 years of age to travel is at the absolute discretion of the management of Peregrine Adventures. Any minor guest must be accompanied by parent/legal guardian on trip. If the winner is under the age of 18 years, the prize will be awarded to the winner’s nominated parent or guardian.
8. Winner must take the prizes as offered. Prize is non-transferable, non-refundable, cannot be sold or exchanged for cash, and cannot be used in conjunction with any other offer.
9. Additional expenses, including transport to nearest Australian or New Zealand capital city airport, airport departure taxes, airport departure transfer, visas, insurance, meals not listed in the itinerary, any optional tours and activities during free time, camera fees, excess baggage charges, tips or gratuities, and items of a personal nature, are not included in the prize and are at the winner’s expense.
10. Winner must hold a valid passport and must obtain the necessary visas prior to travel, both of which are at the winner’s expense.
11. The prize and booking of the prize are subject to the standard booking terms and conditions of Peregrine Adventures.
12. The winner will be issued with a travel voucher and instructions about how to redeem the prize from Peregrine Adventures and Mountain Designs.
13. Entrants will be invited to subscribe to receive Peregrine’s monthly travel e-newsletter and Mountain Designs updates as part of the entry mechanism. The decision by entrants to grant or withhold their consent in relation to the use of their information for marketing purposes will not affect the selection of the winner.
12. Participants must be Australian or New Zealand residents to be eligible for prizes.
13. The competition starts on the 22nd November 2011 and closes at 5 pm EST on the 24th December 2011. The competition will run for 4 weeks.
14. The winner will be notified by mail and phone on 10th January 2011. If the prize is unclaimed 3 months after the judging a second winner will be chosen.
15. Mountain Designs Holdings and Peregrine employees and family of employees are prohibited from entering the competition.
17. This is a game of skill. Chance plays no part in determining the winner. Each entry will be individually judged based on creative merit. All entries must be the original independent creation of the entrant. Entries must not have been published previously and/or have been used to win prizes in any other competitions.
18. Mountain Designs accepts no responsibility for any loss, damages or injury incurred in connection with taking up the prizes.
19. Judges decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into.
20. All entries become the property of the promoters - Mountain Designs Holdings. The promoter reserves the right to use the content of winning entries for the purpose of future promotions.
21. By entering the competition, each entrant agrees to be bound by the terms and conditions. Entrants who fail to comply with this terms and conditions may be refused prizes at the discretion of the promoter.
22. Any entry received after the expiry of the competition period will be deemed invalid.
23. Incomplete, illegible, or incorrect entries or entries that contain offensive or defamatory comments or which breech any law or infringe 3rd party rights including intellectual property rights are eligible to win
24. If Mountain Designs is unable to provide the winner with the nominated prize, Mountain Designs reserves the right to supply an alternative prize of similar momentary value to the nominated prize
25. Entries are deemed to be received at the time of receipt into the Mountain Designs database, not time of transmission
26. Mountain Designs reserves the right to publish the names of winning entries
