Meals on Wheels hold several events throughout the year, which are a combination of conferences and celebrations marking the collaborative achievements throughout the organisation and individual bodies.
 

Christmas Raffle 2011
 Call 1300 695 312 for your chance to win a $20,000 shopping spree or a cash prize!
 
The raffle will be drawn on the 20th January 2012, and published in the Australian on the 27th January 2012.
 
Regional Conferences
 Regional Conferences will be held around the State throughout the year.  Please contact a Network Support Officer on 8219 4200 for more information.
 
Meals on Wheels Day
 National Meals on Wheels Day is celebrated on the last Wednesday in August each year.  This annual celebration recognises the work of the organisations’ 78,700 volunteers at over 740 branches around the country.
 
Australian Meals on Wheels President, Leon Holmes, said “the day was about recognising the efforts of the organisations’ volunteers and staff.
 
“The strength of the organisation comes from our volunteers and the incredible work they do.,” he said.
 
“I can’t praise highly enough our volunteers, many of whom have been with their local Services for years, even decades.  They come with a desire to contribute to the community, but they also make friendships and enjoy a rare sort of camaraderie”.
