To be in the draw to win the bookarestaurant.com Review & Win Competition read the following:
 
Entry into the competition can be made by the following method:
 
Make a booking directly via the bookarestaurant.com website, mobile application(s), or via a booking widget on one of our partner websites that is powered by bookarestaurant.com.  After you have dined at the restaurant you will be invited to submit a Ratings & Review on your dining experience.  All submitted Ratings & Reviews will automatically go into the draw to win.
 
By submitting a Ratings & Review of your dining experience you are subject to these Terms and Conditions.
 
ENTRY INTO THE COMPETITION
 1.Entry into the bookarestaurant.com Review & Win Competition (the “Competition”) is open to all residentsof Victoria, New South Wales, Western Australia, Northern Territories, Tasmania, Australian Capital Territory and Queensland over the age of 18 years. The Promoter is Bookarestaurant Pty Ltd (ABN: 29 143 036 159) of 67-75 Raglan Street, Preston VIC 3072 Australia (the “Promoter”).  Information on how to enter forms part of the terms of entry.  Entry into the Competition is deemed acceptance of these terms and conditions.
 2.The officers, management and employees (or immediate family of an officer, manager or employee) of the Promoter and the agencies associated with this Competition are not eligible to enter.
 3.Competition commences at 00:01(AEST) on Thursday 24 November 2011 and closes at 23:59 (AEST) on Sunday 15 January 2012 (the “Competition Period”).
 4.To enter the Competition and be eligible to win, entrants must:
 ◦be over the age of 18 years and be a resident of Victoria, New South Wales, Western Australia, Northern Territories, Tasmania and Queensland;
 ◦complete an online Ratings & Review submission after making a booking via the bookarestaurant.com website, mobile application(s), or via a booking widget on one of our partner websites that is powered by bookarestaurant.com and dining at the restaurant.
 5.The Prize winners will be notified by email and by telephone as supplied to us on their booking confirmation.
 6.All entries are deemed to be received at the time of receipt into the bookarestaurant.com database; NOT time of transmission by the entrant.
 
PRIZE
 7.There are a total of two prizes to be won – each the same, given to two different winners.  The prizes consist of:
 ◦Two - iPad2 16GB Wi-Fi + 3G
 8.The total maximum Prize pool value is $1458. The Prize values are the recommended retail values as provided by the suppliers and are correct at the time of printing. The Promoter is neither responsible nor liable for any change in the value of the Prize occurring between publishing date and date the Prize is claimed.  All Prize values are in Australian dollars. All other associated costs are at the winner’s expense.
 9.There is no cash alternative to the Prize.
 10.Prize-winner may opt to nominate to transfer the prize into someone else’s name. This request must be made in writing and agreed to in writing by the Promoter. Prize-winner’s nominee will agree to all terms as deemed in the Official Rules.
 
JUDGING AND AWARD OF PRIZE
 
11.The two draws will take place at the offices of The Orchard Agency (Ground Floor, 369 Royal Parade, Parkville VIC 3052). The draw dates are
 ◦1:00pm Monday 19 December 2011
 ◦1:00pm Monday 16 January 2012
 
   This is a game of chance. Each entry will be entered into the draw. The winners will be drawn at random.
 
12.If a Prize winner cannot be contacted or does not claim the Prize by the stipulated date, then the Prize will be forfeited and the prize will be redrawn.
 13.Three (3) attempts over the period of a day will be made to contact the Prize winners. If the prize remains uncollected at the end of the day that it is drawn, a second chance draw will be conducted at the same premises listed in paragraph 11, on:
 ◦1:00pm Wednesday 21 December 2011 for Monday 19 December 2011 draw
 ◦1:00pm Wednesday 18 January 2012 for Monday 16 January 2012 draw
 
AGE
 
14.Entrants must be over 18 years old to enter the Competition. Any entry from persons who do not meet this age criteria will be ineligible for entry.
 
GENERAL                                                                                 
15.All entrants agree to provide the Promoter or the Promoter’s authorised agent with proof of identity, residency, age and/or proof of entry validity if selected as the Prize winner/s or if reasonably requested by the Promoter or the Promoter’s authorised agent. Proof of age, identification, residency and entry considered suitable for verification is at the sole discretion of the Promoter. In the event that the Prize winner cannot provide suitable proof, the Prize winner will forfeit the Prize in whole and no substitute will be offered.
 16.Any booking associated with a Ratings & Review submission that has been updated to a “Cancelled” or “No Show” status will be automatically disqualified from entry to the Competition.
 17.The Promoter reserves the right, in its absolute discretion, at any time before the awarding of the Prizes to cancel or vary the Competition or to vary or cancel the award of the Prizes including, without limitation, circumstances where in the Promoter’s opinion (which it shall form in its absolute discretion):
 ◦a Prize winner does not satisfy the Competition entry requirements; or
 ◦the Promoter cannot conduct the Competition or award the Prize/s for any reason beyond its control.
 18.In the event that the Promoter cancels or varies the Competition or varies or withdraws the Prizes it shall not:
 ◦be liable to any person for any loss or damage (including loss or damage caused by any negligence) arising out of, or in connection with, such cancellation, variation or withdrawal; and
 ◦be required to conduct the Competition at any other time.
 19.No responsibility will be accepted by the Promoter for late, lost or misdirected entries and all entries are deemed to be received at the time of receipt of the entry into the Promoter’s database and NOT time of transmission by the entrant. The Promoter will accept no responsibility for any delays to entry caused by technical disruptions or malfunctions. The Promoter accepts no responsibility for outdated or incorrect contact details or contact details by which the entrant cannot be contacted during business hours on the relevant dates.
 20.The Promoter reserves the right to cancel the award of prize/s to, and/or to disqualify any individual who, as determined in the sole discretion of the Promoter, has breached these terms and conditions or who has otherwise engaged in unlawful or improper conduct that is designed to jeopardise the fair conduct of the Competition.
 21.Entrants are advised that their personal information may be disclosed to State and Territory lottery departments and their names as the winner may be published as required under the relevant lottery legislation.
 22.A decision of the Promoter in relation to the conduct of the Competition is binding and conclusive and no correspondence will be entered into.
 23.Entrants enter the Competition at their sole risk. With the exception of liability which cannot be excluded by law, the Promoter shall not be liable for any loss or damage which is suffered (including but not limited to indirect or consequential loss) or for personal injury suffered or sustained as a result of taking the Prize or entering the Competition.
