Deerhoof is a four-piece pop band who some consider to be noise or experimental music, but come on, just listen to it for a minute. Or come to their Australian shows and singdance along in person.
 
Described by Pitchfork as “the best band in the world”, Deerhoof have been creating cutting edge, inventive art-pop music for over sixteen years. One of the most unlikely success stories in contemporary music, Deerhoof made some of the most difficult and unclassifiable noise of the mid-nineties, before unexpectedly rising to international prominence as one of indie rock’s most renowned and influential groups. Deerhoof have influenced the sound of many of their contemporaries, including Xiu Xiu, Dirty Projectors, Ponytail, Of Montreal and St. Vincent.
 
Renowned for their musical innovativeness and the ability to constantly reinvent their sound, Deerhoof have toured the world over and have performed with the likes of Radiohead, Sonic Youth and The Flaming Lips.
