What would be better than seeing My Chemical Romance at one of their Big Day Out sideshows next year? How about getting your grubby little mitts on Frank Iero’s signature Epiphone Wilshire Phant-O-Matic guitar at that gig? Nothing could top that right? Well what if said guitar was signed by every member of the band? That is pretty amazing yeah? It is, but not as epic as getting that very guitar signed in person while you’re hanging out with the My Chemical Romance guys before the gig!
 
All of this could be yours if you are Australia’s biggest My Chemical Romance fan. But first you have to prove it to us by sending us something that shows how much you love the leaders of The Black Parade. Photos, poems and pleading are all accepted.

Entry Restrictions

Entrants and their companion must be 18 years of age or over.
Entrants must be able to take the prize on one of the following locations on the following dates:
•Brisbane: 24 January 2012 Eatons Hill Hotel & Function Centre
•Sydney: 27 January 2012 Hordern Pavilion
•Melbourne: 31 January 2012 Festival Hall
Entrants who are unable to take the Prize on one of the above listed dates may be deemed ineligible to enter.
Winners must be able to transport themselves to the Prize event at their own expense. No transport or accommodation will be provided as part of the Prize.
Competition Period

The competition begins at 10am (AEDST) on Tuesday 27 December 2011.
Entries into the competition close at 10am (AEDST) on Tuesday 17 January 2012.
Entry Method

Web entry:
During the Competition Period:
(a)listeners will be invited to visit the Station Website and complete the online entry form including by providing their contact details and by submitting words, or pictures that prove that you are the biggest My Chemical Romance fan.
(b)each entry submitted by the time specified by the Station will be individually reviewed by representatives of the Promoter.  The Station will select the entry it deems to be the “best” (as determined by the Promoter in its sole and absolute discretion and based on the Judging Criteria) from all valid entries received within the time period specified and the entrant selected by the Promoter will be deemed the winner and will be awarded the Prize.
Maximum Number of Entries

One entry per person, during the Competition Period.
Judging Criteria

Each valid entry will be individually judged (by representatives of the Promoter) based on, among other things, creativity merit, passion and imagination.

*The winner may select which sideshow they wish to attend.

Notification of Winners

Winners will be notified:

Prize Delivery

The ticket component of the Prize will be delivered to the winner’s residential address via mail.
The other components of the Prize will be provided to the winner at the Prize event.
