Get excited for the latest Gameshow from Wrest Point for special FRC members!
Selected FRC members will be sent an invitation to this exciting gameshow, to be held at 7pm on Friday 20 January in the Tasman Room.
10 contestants will be selected from the audience to participate in the gameshow. Each contestant will be asked 3 relatively easy questions. If all 3 questions are answered correctly, the contestant will play for the Money or the Bag.
The contestant selects 1 of 20 numbered bags. Each bag contains a prize unknown to contestants and the host. The prizes range from $3000 cash (the Super Bag) to a potato peeler + $100 cash (booby prize). Other prizes include plasma TV, fridge, massaging recliner chair, Dyson, iPad, lawn mower, stereo, iPhone, hamper, washing machine, fuel card, camera, esky & booby prizes including a bottle top, keyring, peg and shoelace (all booby prizes get a bonus $100).
The host will then offer the contestant an increasing amount of cash in exchange for their unopened bag. The offers continue until the contestant either accepted the cash or the host stops offering more money. If they choose the bag, it will be opened at that point and their prize will be revealed. If the contestant chooses the money, the prize that the contestant turned down will be revealed.
