This remake of the iconic 1970s British TV series explores the fiery relationship between the two classes, above and below stairs. The characters’ trials and tribulations are played out in a 1936 London town house at Eaton Place. While the remake doesn’t boast the long list of prestigious awards (including a Golden Globe) won by the original, it’s just as captivating.

We have ten copies of Upstairs, Downstairs on DVD to give away.

1. This competition is open to Australian residents only, commencing 05/01/2012. All entries must be received no later than 24/01/201 5:00 pm – Australia time.
 
2. The promotional material, information on how to enter and prize details form part of these terms and conditions. To be eligible to enter the competition, you must reply in accordance with the conditions specified in this promotion. 3. The winner will be selected at the offices of Reader’s Digest, 80 Bay St, Ultimo NSW, on or about 25/01/2011.
 
4. The best ten entries, as determined by the judges, will win a copy of Upstairs, Downstairs on DVD valued at AUD$39.99. Total Number of prizes: 10. Total value of giveaway: AUD$399.90.
 
5. The prizewinner will be notified by email. If Reader’s Digest does not receive confirmation of acceptance of the prize within 30 days, the competition will be rejudged and a new winner announced.
