Tinker Tailor Soldier Spy is directed by Tomas Alfredson, responsible for the subdued Swedish horror movie Let The Right One In. In this new adaptation of the John le Carré novel he turns his hand to understated British cold war espionage. Gary Oldman plays MI6 spymaster George Smiley, on the hunt for a Soviet double agent embedded in British intelligence. Colin Firth, Tom Hardy and John Hurt also star.
