HOW TO ENTER
To enter, simply provide us with your first name, surname and email then tell us in 25 words or less why you deserve to win a getaway for two. You must also accept the competition Terms & Conditions and agree to receive RedBalloon's weekly e-newsletter. The winner will be chosen based on the creativity of their 25 words or less answer and will receive a getaway for two worth up to $1200.
Submission of entry is deemed to be acceptance of these Conditions of Entry. Information on prizes, how to enter and how to claim prizes forms part of these terms and conditions.
Promotional period commences 17/01/12 at 00:01 (AEDT) and closes 10/02/12 at 6:00 (AEDT) ("Promotional Period"). No responsibility accepted for late, lost or misdirected claims.
The winner will be selected based on the creativity of their 25 words or less answer and will be notified via email on 13/02/2012.
If the winner was referred by another entrant via email during the entry process the referrer will receive a $300 RedBalloon Gift Certificate. If the winner was not referred by anyone via email during the entry process the $300 Gift Certificate will not be awarded.
You must use a valid email address to enter and agree to receive RedBalloon's weekly newsletter. The Promoter collects entrants' personal information in order to conduct the promotion and fulfil prizing. The Promoter reserves the right to verify the validity of entries, at any time during or after the promotion, and reserves the right to disqualify any entrant (and ALL entries submitted by that entrant) for tampering or interfering with the entry process or any other activities which is not in accordance with these Conditions of Entry. Failure of the Promoter to enforce any of its rights at any stage does not constitute a waiver of those rights. The use of any automated entry software or any other mechanical or electronic means that allows an entrant to automatically enter repeatedly is prohibited and will render all entries submitted from that source invalid.
The Promoter reserves the right to request winners to provide proof of identity, age and residence. Identification considered suitable for verification is at the discretion of the Promoter. If the winner is under 18 years the prize may at the absolute discretion of the Promoter be awarded to the winner's parent or guardian.
The total prize pool is $1500 in value, made up of a getaway for two worth up to $1200 and a $300 RedBalloon Gift Certificate for the referrer, if applicable. Prizes or any unused portion of a prize are not transferable or exchangeable or redeemable for cash.
If the getaway selected is worth less than $1200 the remainder value will be given to the winner in the form of a RedBalloon Gift Certificate.
The getaway must be selected from RedBalloon's getaway range. The prize does not cover transport or any additional costs the winner may have while on the getaway, it's simply the getaway as listed on the RedBalloon website.
The getaway will be awarded to the winner in the form of a RedBalloon voucher which the winner must then book in accordance with RedBalloon’s terms and conditions
