Harbour Town Gold Coast - Golden Summer Shopping Competition

1st January – 29th February 2012

Prize Pool is $1,000 worth of Harbour Town Gift Cards. Win a $500 Harbour Town Gold Coast Gift

Terms and Conditions
1. The Promoter is Harbour Town Centre Management Pty Ltd (HTCM), ABN 21 001 302 610, PO Box 255,
Biggera Waters, Queensland, 4216.
2. Information on how to enter forms part of these Terms and Conditions. Entry into the competition constitutes
acceptance of these Terms and Conditions.
3. Entry to the competition is open to residents of Australia. An entrants must be an individual and not a company
or organisation (“Eligible Entrant”). Entrants must be aged 13+ and a fan of Harbour Town Gold Coast on
facebook to enter this competition. Employees of, or contractors to, the Promoter or any of the Promoter’s
contractors or agencies involved with the promotion or the immediate family of such people are ineligible for
this promotion. Any entry submitted by such a person will be void.
4. Entry into the Competition is free.
5. The Competition commences Sunday 1 January 2012 and closes 11.59pm, Wednesday 29 February 2012
(“Competition Period”). Entry can be only made by Eligible Entrants uploading a photo of a Harbour Town Gold
Coast purchase or a photo of themselves wearing a Harbour Town Gold Coast purchase, naming the store or
stores they purchased this item or items from, plus the outlet price and RRP of the item or items purchased,
via the entry form on the Harbour Town Gold Coast website (www.harbourtowngoldcoast.com.au). Any costs
associated with accessing the website remain the responsibility of each entrant and are dependent on the
Internet service provider used.
6. Eligible Entrants who advise Harbour Town Gold Coast how much the item or items they purchased cost will
double their chance of winning the Competition.
7. Entries must be received by the Promoter during the Competition Period. In determining eligibility, the
Promoter’s decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into. Entries will be deemed to be accepted
at the time of receipt into the promotional database and not at the time of transmission.
8. Eligible Entrants may enter as many times as they like with the same contact email address.
9. Harbour Town Gold coast will post a select number of photos uploaded by Eligible Entrants on the Harbour
Town Gold Coast facebook wall during the Competition period.
10. The Major Prize Draw will take place on Friday 2 March 2012 at Fig Tree Marketing, South Australia. Winners
will be notified on the Harbour Town Gold Coast facebook wall.
11. Major Prize Draw: 2 x $500 Harbour Town Gold Coast Gift Card.
12. The Harbour Town Gold Coast Gift Cards are not redeemable for cash and are not transferable. Any attempt to
resell or auction all or any part of this prize will result in an immediate cancellation of the prize. The prize
elements may be terminated without notice if these Terms and Conditions are not complied with.
13. Total maximum prize pool is $1000 (RRP including GST).
14. It is a condition of accepting the prize that the winner may be required to sign a legal release in a form
determined by the Promoter in its absolute discretion. Additional expenses incurred as a result of accepting this
prize are the winner's responsibility and the Promoter and/ or its affiliates accept no liability or responsibility in
respect of the same or for any loss or injury suffered as a result of accepting the prize.
15. The Promoter will take no responsibility for lost or damaged Harbour Town Gold Coast Gift Cards.
16. If a Major Prize is unclaimed or the winning entrant is unable to satisfy these Terms and Conditions by Friday
27 April 2012 at 9am then a second chance draw will take place on Tuesday 27 March 2012 at 12pm at Fig
Tree Marketing, South Australia. All Eligible Entrants who have submitted an entry during the competition
period will be entered into the second chance draw. In the event of a winner, they will be notified on the
Harbour Town Gold Coast facebook wall.
17. The Promoter is not responsible for any problems or technical malfunction of any telephone network or lines,
computer on-line systems, servers, or providers, computer equipment, software, technical problems or traffic
congestion on the Internet or at any web site, or any combination thereof, including any injury or damage to
participants or any other person’s computer related to or resulting from participation in or down-loading any
materials in this Competition.
18. If for any reason this Competition is not capable of running as planned because of infection by computer virus,
bugs, tampering, unauthorised intervention, technical failures or any other causes beyond the reasonable
control of the Promoter which corrupt or affect the administration, security, fairness, integrity or proper
conduct of this Competition, the Promoter reserves the right in its sole discretion to cancel, terminate, modify
or suspend the Competition, subject to any written directions under State or Territory legislation.
19. Prize values are correct at the time of publishing and are subject to change without notice. HTCM accepts no
responsibility for changes to prize values. All prizes are not exchangeable, transferable or redeemable for cash
or other goods or services. Any tax implications for Eligible Entrants, which may arise from this Competition are
the responsibility of the Eligible Entrants, and independent advice should be sought.
20. The Promoter reserves the right to request winners to provide proof of identity and proof of residency at the
nominated prize delivery address in order to claim a prize. Proof of identification and residency considered
suitable for verification is at the discretion of the Promoter.
21. The winners agree to participate in all reasonable promoted activities in relation to the Competition as
requested by the Promoter and its agents and sign any release document provided by the Promoter, in its
absolute discretion. Entrants consent to the Promoter using the entrant's name, likeness, image and/or voice in
the event they are a winner of a draw (including photograph, film and/or recording of the same) in any media
for an unlimited period of time without remuneration or compensation for the purpose of promoting,
publicising or marketing this Competition (including any outcome), and promoting any products manufactured,
distributed and/or supplied by the Promoter.
22. All entries and any copyright subsisting in the entries become and remain the property of the Promoter. The
Promoter collects personal information about entrants to include entrants in the Competition and where
appropriate award prizes. If the personal information requested is not provided, the entrant may not
participate in the Competition. We may collect your personal information for the purpose of providing products
or services or information about these products or services, to you. Such products and services may include,
but are not limited to, the provision of VIP Cards, membership of Tourism Club or Tourism Lounge, the conduct
of promotions or competitors, the operation of mailing lists for promotional purposes, an application for
tenancy at one of our centres and for the provision of other services requested by you. HTCM will not disclose
your personal information other than in accordance with our Privacy Policy. Refer to website
www.harbourtown.com.au for full privacy policy. You may request access to your personal information held by
HTCM by contacting our Privacy Offer email privacy@harbourtown.com.au or phone (08) 83551144. Each
entrant also agrees that the Entrants acknowledge and agree that the Promoter may publish or cause to be
published the winner’s name and locality in any media as required under the relevant lottery legislation.
23. HTCM and its respective related bodies corporate, officers, employees and agents will not be liable for any loss
or damage whatsoever which is suffered (including but not limited to indirect or consequential loss), or for
personal injury suffered or sustained in connection with this competition, the promotion of this competition or
the use of the prize, except for any liability that cannot be excluded by law.
