HOTMAIL WIN A HOT LAP 'ROUND THE WORLD COMPETITION
Entry Instructions

To be eligible to enter, individuals must log onto www.hotmailhotlap.com, enter their valid Hotmail or Windows Live email address (If an individual does not already have a Hotmail or Windows Live email account they can sign up by visiting https://signup.live.com/signup.aspx?lic=1), between 12.01am (Sydney time) on 29/01/2012 and 11.59pm (Sydney time) on 25/02/2012 ("Promotional Period") and must hold a valid passport with a minimum of six (6) months validity from 25/02/2012. To enter, individuals must then, during the Promotional Period:
(a) Complete the online entry form; and
(b) Follow the prompts to design their "dream" holiday by selecting twenty (20) international landmarks from those marked on the displayed World map and listing them in the order that they would most like to visit, OR by selecting the "Autopick" option which will generate a random "dream" holiday with twenty (20) landmarks randomly listed ("Proposed Itinerary"). The Proposed Itinerary will not impact upon the final outcome of the competition or the contents of the prizes.

PRIVACY
Entrant personal information ("PI") will be collected to enable the Promoter to administer and promote this competition and to notify the competition winners. If an entrant consents, PI may be used by Travelscene American Express to market its services to the entrant. The PI of winners may be provided to others assisting the Promoter administer this competition, including prize suppliers and deliverers, and to authorities that regulate this competition. Entrants may contact the Promoter at the address given below to request access to any of their collected PI that is still held. If an entrant does not truthfully provide all requested PI, the Promoter may determine that they are not eligible to win a prize.

Major Prize

There will be one (1) major prize winner.

The draw to determine the major prize winner will occur at 12.00pm (Sydney time) on 28/02/2012 at ninemsn, Level 7, Tower Building, Australia Square, 264-278 George Street, Sydney, NSW 2000 ("Major Prize Draw").

The first valid entry randomly drawn in the Major Prize Draw will win the major prize.

Runners-Up Prizes

There will be four (4) runners-up prize winners.

A weekly runners-up draw ("Weekly Draw") will take place throughout the duration of the Promotional Period, at the times and dates listed in the competition draw schedule below, at the ninemsn, Level 7, Tower Building, Australia Square, 264-278 George Street, Sydney, NSW 2000. Non-winning entries in each Weekly Draw will be entered into any subsequent Weekly Draws and all entries (including winners in a Weekly Draw) will be entered into the Major Prize Draw.

Prizes, the method by which they are awarded, any additional conditions that apply to the prizes, and their individual values -


Major Prize

There will be one (1) major prize winner ("Major Winner"). The Major Winner will receive one (1) x "Around the World" holiday ("Major Prize"), for themselves and their choice of one (1) guest ("Guest"). Within ten (10) business days following the Major Winner notification in accordance with Condition 1.16, an employee from Travelscene American Express' nominated agent, Free-2-Travel Holidays Pty Ltd (ABN 96 101 233 659) ("Winner Manager"), will contact the Major Winner to liaise with the Major Winner regarding all flights, accommodation and bookings associated with the Major Prize. In the event that the Major Winner and the Winner Manager cannot reach an agreement, the Winner Manager reserves the right to determine the final decision in regards to all Major Prize details.

The Major Prize is valued at up to AU$35,800 or NZ$47,040 and comprises of the following:

    Two (2) return economy airfares (including airport & airline taxes) for the Major Winner and their Guest from the Australian or New Zealand capital city (whichever is applicable) nearest to the Major Winner's place of residence (as specified in their entry details) to a maximum of sixteen (16) destinations agreed upon between the Winner Manager and Major Winner, covering a maximum of 39,000 miles with a minimum of four (4) x 24 hour stop-overs on land (for examples of routes, please see www.hotmailhotlap.com);
    Private transfers from airports to accommodation to the maximum value of AU$6,000 or NZ$7,883;
    Twenty (20) nights' four (4) star twin share accommodation to the maximum value of AU$9,000 or NZ$11,829;
    Entry and/or tour fees for the Major Winner and their Guest to view and/or visit sights/attractions during the Major Prize holiday to the maximum value of AU$4,500 or NZ$5,914 and
    One (1) x $AUD2,500 or NZ$3,286 cash prize awarded in the form of a cheque payable to the Major Winner.

In the event the Major Winner has "Liked" the Travelscene American Express Facebook page at the time of the Major Prize Draw, to be verified by the Promoter in its sole discretion, the following bonus prize ("Bonus Prize") will also be included in the Major Prize, which will comprise of the following:

    three (3) nights twin share four (4) star accommodation at the Sheraton Waikiki, Hawaii (or similar);
     breakfast for the Major Winner and their Guest daily;
    return private transfers from airport to accommodation; and
    a Deluxe Luau Package at Paradise Cover for the Major Winner and their Guest.

The Bonus Prize must be redeemed at the time same time the Major Prize is redeemed. In the event the Major Winner does not visit Waikiki, Hawaii as part of the Major Prize, and redeem the Bonus Prize, the Bonus Prize will be forfeited and no compensation will be payable. The Bonus Prize is valued at up to AU$1,800 or NZ$2,366.

Runners-up Prizes

There will be four (4) runners-up prize winners ("Runners-Up Winners"). Each Runner-Up Winner will win one (1) x AU$1,000 or NZ$1,314 Travelscene American Express gift card ("Gift Card").

The Gift Cards are redeemable by Australian Runners-Up Winners at any Travelscene American Express agent and New Zealand Runners-Up Winners at any United Travel agent. Gift Cards must be redeemed within twelve (12) months from date of Gift Card issue.

Other Major Prize Terms & Conditions. For the purposes of this clause 1.13, the ��Major Prize' includes the ��Bonus Prize' (if applicable to the Major Winner).

The Major Prize comprises only that which is specified in the above Condition 1.12. For the avoidance of doubt, the Major Prize does not include any insurances, taxes (excluding GST and airport and airline taxes), additional food, drinks, additional activities, additional transfers, passports, visas, vaccinations, items of a personal nature, in-room charges, frequent flyer points, energy surcharges, gratuities, services charges, nor any other ancillary or incidental costs or expenses incurred in claiming or using any part of the Major Prize or anything else not specifically mentioned. The Major Winner and their Guest are solely responsible for organising their own transport to and from their departing and arrival airport in Australia or New Zealand (whichever is applicable).

If the Major Winner is under eighteen (18) years of age, the Major Prize will be awarded to their nominated legal parent/guardian on their behalf. During the entire duration of the Major Prize, a nominated parent/guardian must accompany any person under 18 years of age.

The Major Winner consents to their contact details being provided to the Winner Manager.

The Winner Manager is solely responsible for arranging and booking all flights and accommodation, including the selection of individual prize suppliers, destinations and travel dates.  All bookings will be made via the Winner Manager or their agents.

The Winner Manager will use their best endeavours to accommodate the Major Winner's preference for travel dates and destinations, however, all travel and accommodation bookings are subject to availability at all times and remain in the sole discretion of the Winner Manager.

Availability cannot be guaranteed during Christmas and school holiday periods and travel cannot be booked between 01/07/2012 �C 15/08/2012 and 15/12/2012 - 15/01/2013. Travel may not be available to be booked during special event periods, including but not limited to the London Olympics. In the case that travel can be booked during special event periods, availability cannot be guaranteed.

The Major Prize is valid until 28/02/2013. If the Major Winner cannot, for any reason, redeem the Major Prize before this date, the Major Prize will be forfeited, and no compensation will be payable.

The Major Winner's final travel itinerary may not be reflective of their "dream" holiday created as part of their Proposed Itinerary at the time of entry submission. Destinations, and the order of travel between them, will remain at the Winner Manager's sole discretion. The Major Prize flights must be in a continuous direction around the world - no backtracking is permitted. A minimum of four (4) stopovers is required (a stopover is considered when on land for a minimum of 24-hours).  A maximum of sixteen (16) flight segments including surface sectors is required (a surface sector is travelling independently between two (2) flight points en-route to the final destination). The combined flights cannot exceed a maximum of 39,000 miles A minimum of ten (10) nights' total travel is required.

After the Winner Manager has confirmed booking details and the Major Winner is notified of the confirmed booking details, any changes requested may incur a fee, payable by the Major Winner. If the Major Winner cancels at any time, the Major Winner will forfeit the Major Prize and no compensation will be payable.

The Major Prize is a single event "Around the World" holiday. Different components of the Major Prize cannot be used or redeemed individually.  The Major Winner and their Guest must travel together on the same flights and stay at the same accommodation.

Travel insurance does not form part of the Major Prize, however, it is strongly recommended that the Major Winner and their Guest obtain valid travel insurance for their period of travel prior to departure.  This is at their sole responsibility and at their expense (and the Promoter will not be liable for any expenses incurred by the Major Prize Winner as a result of not obtaining travel insurance).

The Major Winner and their Guest may be required to sign a liability waiver form in order to accept the Major Prize.

It is a condition of accepting the Major Prize that the Major Winner (and their Guest) must comply with all terms and conditions of use relating to all components of the Major Prize, including any additional terms and conditions stipulated by all and any individual prize suppliers.

The Major Winner may be required to provide a valid credit card upon check in at any accommodation.

The Major Prize, nor any component thereof, is non-transferable, non-refundable and not redeemable for cash. No compensation will be payable if the Major Winner or their Guest is unable to use any component of the Major Prize for whatever reason (including if the Major Prize Winner misses any flights). Any part of the Major Prize which is not redeemed, for any reason, is forfeited.

The Major Winner and their Guest are solely responsible for obtaining all passports, visas and any other documentation necessary for travel to any of the destinations on the trip, including any countries en route. The Major Winner and their Guest must be in possession of a valid passport with a minimum of six (6) months validity from 25/02/2012.

The Major Winner and their Guest must abide by all locals laws and customs, including laws relating to the consumption of alcohol in restricted areas.

Other Runners-Up Prizes Terms & Conditions

Each Gift Card is valid for use for a maximum of twelve (12) months from date of issue and is valid on any product purchased through Travelscene American Express (for Australian Runners-Up Winners) or United Travel (for New Zealand Runners-Up Winners) (except for foreign currency).

To redeem, Gift Card holders must advise their Travelscene American Express consultant (for Australian Runners-Up Winners) or United Travel consultant (for New Zealand Runners-Up Winners) at the time of consultation that they will be using the Gift Card.  The Gift Card must be used in one (1) single transaction and is not transferable.  The Gift Card can be used as part payment for a higher value transaction.

Any ancillary costs associated with redeeming the Gift Card are not included. Any unused balance of the Gift Card will not be awarded as cash. Redemption of the Gift Card is subject to any terms and conditions of the issuer including those specified on the Gift Card.

If a Runners-Up Winner is under the age of eighteen (18) years, the Gift Card will be awarded to the Runner-Up Winner's nominated legal parent/guardian on the Runners-Up Winner's behalf.

2. WHO MAY ENTER
The only persons who may enter and be awarded prizes are those who (i) are residents of the place specified in Condition 1.1, (ii) meet the criteria, if any, specified in Condition 1.2 (iii) if an age is specified in Condition 1.3, have attained the age specified in that Condition, (iv) are not (a) employees of, or contractors to, the Promoter or any of its agencies involved with this competition, or of any entity specified in Condition 1.4, or (b) members of the immediate family of any such employees or contractors.

"Immediate family" means spouse, defacto spouse, parent, natural or adopted child, and sibling (whether natural or adopted by a parent), whether or not they live in the same household as the employee/contractor.

3. ENTRANTS BOUND BY CONDITIONS
By participating, entrants agree to be bound by these conditions.

4. ENTRY INSTRUCTIONS
Entry instructions form part of these conditions.

Where SMS entry is permitted, SMS entries may only be sent from the entrant's own mobile phone. SMS entries sent from other sources (eg computers) are invalid.

5. AUTOMATIC AND NON-PERMITTED ENTRIES
Any entry that is not lodged by the Promoter, that is lodged by automatic, repetitive, robotic, programmed or similar entry methods or agents, including the use of a competition entry service, will void all entries by that entrant.

The Promoter may, at its absolute discretion, declare any or all entries made by an entrant invalid if the entrant: (i) fails to establish their entitlement to enter the Competition to the Promoter's satisfaction; or (ii) submits an entry which is not in accordance with these conditions.

6. NUMBER OF ENTRIES PER ENTRANT
An entrant may enter no more than the number of times specified in Condition 1.5.

7. COST OF ENTRY
Where entry is permitted by SMS, 1900/1902 call or post, the cost of submitting each permitted entry, including any GST, is as specified in Condition 1.6

8. DURATION
This competition commences at the Sydney time specified in Condition 1.7 on the date specified in Condition 1.8.
Entries must be received by the Sydney time specified in Condition 1.9 on the date specified in Condition 1.10.

9. DRAW TO DETERMINE WINNERS
The draw to determine the Major Winner will take place at the address specified in Condition 1.11 at the times and dates specified in Condition 1.11.
The Weekly Draw to determine the Runners-Up Winners will take place at the address specified in Condition 1.11 at the times and dates specified in the competition Draw schedule.

The Promoter's decisions are final and the Promoter will not enter into any correspondence.

10. PRIZES
The prizes, the method by which they are awarded, any additional conditions that apply to the prizes, and their individual values in Australian dollars, are as specified in Condition 1.12. The Promoter takes no responsibility for any variations in prize values.

Any additional conditions that apply to the prizes are as specified in Condition 1.13.

The maximum total value of all prizes in this competition, in Australian and New Zealand dollars, is as specified in Condition 1.15.

Except with the written consent of the Promoter, prizes are not transferable or exchangeable and non-cash prizes cannot be taken as cash. The Promoter has absolute discretion as to whether it will provide such consent and need not provide any reasons to any person for providing or withholding consent.

If a prize, or any part of a prize, is "cash", the "cash" will be paid by cheque drawn in favour of the winner.

In the event that any prize item is unavailable, the Promoter reserves the right, subject to the approval of any relevant trade lottery authority, to substitute a prize item of equal or greater value.

11. WINNER NOTIFICATION
The Major Prize Winner and Runners-Up Prize winners will be notified by the means specified in Condition 1.16, using the contact details provided in their entry.

12. WINNER PUBLICATION
The name and suburb of winners will be published (i) in the publication specified in Condition 1.17 on the date specified in Condition 1.18, and (ii) on the website specified in Condition 1.19, from the date specified in Condition 1.20 until the date specified in Condition 1.21.

13. UNCLAIMED PRIZES
Subject, where relevant, to any written directions given under the legislation regulating this promotion, if a prize is unclaimed by the winner drawn under Condition 9, (i) that winner will forfeit all entitlement to their prize, and (ii) the prize will then be awarded in a further draw to be held at the time, on the date and at the place specified in Condition 1.22. The names and suburbs of the winner(s) in this draw, if any, will be published in the publication specified in Condition 1.23 on the date specified in Condition 1.24.

14. TAXES
Any taxes which may be payable as a consequence of a winner receiving the prize are the sole responsibility of the winner.

15. NO QUALITY, ETC, REPRESENTATIONS
The Promoter makes no representations or warranties as to the quality/suitability/merchantability of any of the goods/services offered as prizes.

16. EXCLUSION OF LIABILITY
To the extent permitted by law, the Promoter is not responsible or liable for:
(i) inaccurate / incorrect transcription of entry information,
(ii) purported entries that are not received for any reason, including because they are lost, misdirected or stolen, or that are received, but are late, illegible, incomplete, sent with insufficient postage (where entry is by post), or sent other than as directed in the entry instructions,
(iii) any problems or technical failures of any kind, including malfunction of any telephone network or lines, computer online systems or network, servers or providers, computer equipment, or software,
(iv) the unavailability or inaccessibility of any service whether or not caused by traffic congestion on the Internet or at any Website,
(v) unauthorised human intervention in any part of the competition,
(vi) electronic or human error which may occur in the administration of the competition,
(vii) any loss suffered or sustained, to person or property and including, but not limited to, consequential (including economic) loss by reason of any act or omission, deliberate or negligent, by the Promoter, or its servants or agents, in connection with the arrangement for supply, or the supply, of any goods or services by any person to a prize winner and, where applicable, to any family/persons accompanying a winner,
(viii) any injury or damage to persons or property, including to the participant's or any other person's computer related to, or resulting from, participation or downloading any materials in this competition.

A winner, and his or her guests (if any), must sign and return any liability release and indemnity provided by the Promoter and/or its contractors as a condition of a prize being awarded. Failure to return the signed releases and indemnities will result in the entitlement to the prize being forfeited and the selection of another winner.

This condition does not affect, and is not intended to affect, any rights a consumer might have, which cannot be excluded under applicable consumer protection laws. To the fullest extent permitted by law, any liability of the Promoter or its servant or agents for breach of any such rights is limited to the payment of the cost of having the prize supplied again.

17. OWNERSHIP OF ENTRIES
All entries become and remain the property of the Promoter.

18. PUBLICITY
The Major Winner and Runners-Up Winners consent to the use of their name, suburb of residence and Proposed Itinerary for promotional and marketing purposes and agree to participate in reasonable promotional activities as requested by the Promoter.

19. TAMPERING AND OTHER FAILURES
If for any reason this competition is not capable of running as planned, including infection by computer virus, bugs, tampering, unauthorised intervention, fraud, technical failures or any other causes beyond the control of the Promoter which corrupt or affect the administration security, fairness, integrity or proper conduct of this competition, the Promoter reserves the right in its sole discretion to disqualify any individual who tampers with the entry process or who may benefit from such tampering and, subject to the approval of those authorities that have issued permits for the conduct of this competition, to cancel, terminate, modify or suspend the competition.

CAUTION: ANY ATTEMPT TO DELIBERATELY DAMAGE ANY WEBSITE OR THE INFORMATION ON A WEBSITE, OR TO OTHERWISE UNDERMINE THE LEGITIMATE OPERATION OF THIS COMPETITION, MAY BE A VIOLATION OF CRIMINAL AND CIVIL LAWS AND SHOULD SUCH AN ATTEMPT BE MADE, WHETHER SUCCESSFUL OR NOT, THE PROMOTER RESERVES THE RIGHT TO SEEK DAMAGES TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW.

20. HEADINGS
The headings in these Conditions are for convenience only and do not affect interpretation.

21. ENTIRE CONDITIONS
These conditions constitute the entire agreement of the parties relating to the entry into and the conduct of this competition.

22. PROMOTER
The Promoter is the entity specified in Condition 1.25.

23. PERMITS
The permits/licence issued for the conduct of this competition are specified in Condition 1.26.

HOTMAIL WIN A HOT LAP 'ROUND THE WORLD REWARD OFFER COMPETITION

1. Every person who correctly enters the "Hotmail Win a Hot Lap 'Round the World" competition in accordance with the conditions for that competition may also be eligible to claim a gift in accordance with these conditions. This "Hotmail Win a Hot Lap 'Round the World Reward Offer" component is not to be used in conjunction with any other offer.

2. The Entry Instructions Condition, Privacy Condition, 1.1, 1.2, 1.3 and 1.4 of Condition 2, 1.7, 1.8, 1.9 and 1.10 of Conditions 8, Condition 15, 16, 17, 19, 20 and 21, and 1.25 of Condition 22 of the "Hotmail Win a Hot Lap 'Round the World" competition, as detailed above, equally apply to this "Hotmail Win a Hot Lap 'Round the World Reward Offer" component. These conditions should be read in conjunction with those conditions. If there are any inconsistencies these shall prevail.

3. To automatically receive a gift, individuals must correctly enter the "Hotmail Win a Hot Lap 'Round the World" competition. After submission of an individual's initial entry, they will receive a confirmation email from the Promoter. Each confirmation email will contain a 'Free Hotel Breaks Pay One Get One Free' e-voucher ("Gift"). Each Gift is an e-voucher for two (2) people to one (1) free night hotel accommodation at any participating property, in a twin or double standard room, when they book one (1) or more nights' accommodation at the same participating property. Participating properties and their booking details can be found at www.freehotelbreaks.com.au/hotmailhotlap.

4. To redeem a Gift, individuals must book and pay for, at the rack rate and in-full, one (1) or more nights accommodation at any participating property. Individuals must identify the reservation as a "Free-2-Travel Holidays" booking at the time of booking and surrender a printed copy of the Gift at the time of check-in. Gift is valid only when the 'Booking Confirmation' section of the e-voucher has been completed, signed and received by the participating property or as otherwise arranged with the participating property.

5. Only one (1) Gift permitted per person.

6. If any claimant is under the age of eighteen (18) years, the Gift must be redeemed by the claimant's nominated legal parent/guardian on the claimant's behalf.

7. Gifts must be redeemed within twelve (12) months from the date of issue unless otherwise specified. Redemption of the Gift is subject to availability of each participating property. Gifts cannot be used in conjunction with any other special offer. Further terms and conditions relating to the Gift are available at www.freehotelbreaks.com.au/hotmailhotlap.

8. Any ancillary costs associated with redeeming the Gift are not included. Redemption of the Gift is subject to any terms and conditions of the issuer and participating properties including those specified on the Gift.

9. Claimants may be required to provide a valid credit card upon check in at any accommodation.

10. Gift is accommodation only. Any costs associated with redeeming the Gift, including but not limited to transport, meals, items of a personal nature, in-room charges, are not included and are the responsibility of the claimant.

11. Availability cannot be guaranteed during Christmas and school holiday and special event periods.
