MUST be a saleable app (i.e. it must be able to be published on the Apple App Store), it must meet Apples' guidelines (so nothing that would be considered illegal or against Apple policy) and you need to be willing to share a mere 15% of the applications profits with PyxiApps Australia.Don't tell us everything about your application idea guys if you win we will go through our normal app workshop before commencing. But tell us things like why you think it will be popular, what sort of app it will be (game, lifestyle, business etc) and what will make your app stand out above the rest. Obviously give us a brief description of the app but you don't need to go in to detail.

Terms and Conditions - PyxiApps Australia Win an App Competition 2012.
General
a. Information on how to enter forms part of these conditions. Entry into the competition constitutes acceptance of these terms and conditions.
b. The Promoter is PyxiApps Australia, Level 1, 7 Clunies Ross Court, Eight Mile Plains, Brisbane, Queensland 4113.
c. For the purposes of these Terms and Conditions, PyxiApps Australia includes all related and subsidiary companies, past, present and future officers, agents, representatives, employees and assigns.
2. Entry Requirements
a.
Entry is only open to Australian residents who are 18 years or over. Employees of the Promoter and their immediate families and agencies associated with this promotion are ineligible to enter.
b. The promotion commences at 4:00am AEST on Wednesday 1st February 2012 and entries
close at 4:00pm AEST on Monday 30th April 2012 (the Promotion Period).
c. To enter the draw, participants must visit
http://www.pyxiapps.com and follow the prompts to participate in the “Win an App” competition. Entrants need to like PyxiApps Australia on facebook and/or follow us on Twitter and/or +1 us on Google + and ask their friends to like PyxiApps Australia for the entry to be valid. Entrants must be fans/follows of
www.pyxiapps.com at the time of the draw or their entry is forfeit.
Entrants must complete the Application Questionnaire in full and give a brief description of their application. PyxiApps will not reproduce any of the entrants ideas for personal gain if they are not chosen as the winner. However if we have a paying client who asks us to develop an application similar or the same as your idea PyxiApps Australia reserves the right to develop the application for the customer.
d. For the purpose of this competition, a unique person is constituted by a unique email address, name and facebook like, twitter follower and Google Plus Circle. For the purpose of clarity, only one direct entry is permitted per person per calendar month. However for everyone of your friends/followers/circle that also like us/follow us/ +1 us you receive an additional entry.
e.
There is a limit of one entry per unique person, per calendar month during the promotional period.f. Entrants may increase their chances of winning the competition by either entering the friends name and email address in the entry form or asking their friends to like PyxiApps Australia on facebook through
www.pyxiapps.com, follow us on twitter or +1 us on Google+. Each friend may only be nominated once during the promotion period and entrants who have already entered the competition cannot be nominated as a friend. If a valid nominated friend enters the competition through the referral email, then the original entrant who nominated them will receive one additional entry into the draw. Entrants MUST complete the Application Questionnaire to be eligible.
3. Prizes
a.
The first eligible entry drawn at 10am AEST on Wednesday 2nd May 2012 will win 1 x iPhone OR iPad application development package which they will be the rightful majority owner of upon it's acceptance by Apple. PyxiApps will retain a 15% stake in the application. The prize has a total retail value of $30,000.b. The prizes will be delivered via road transport to the winners nominated address. This will be sent via Australian Air Express. The courier will attempt one delivery of the item. The promoter is not liable for any costs associated with the collection of the prize should no one be home to collect it. Any costs will be at the winner's expense
c. The prize may not be transferred or substituted except at the Promoters discretion and subject to state legislation. The Promoters reserve the right to substitute a prize of equal or greater value due to prize unavailability. Any tax on the prize is the responsibility of the winner. Independent financial advice should be sought by any person participating in this promotion.
d. The Promoter shall not be liable for any costs associated with the prize before or after the delivery.
e. The Promoter shall not be liable for any loss or damage whatsoever that is suffered by any entrant or winner (including but not limited to indirect or consequential loss), or for any personal injury suffered or sustained as a result of taking any prize, except for any liability that cannot be excluded by law. The Promoter shall not be responsible for any entries that are not received or are otherwise interfered with due to problems with the Internet or telecommunications services. No responsibility will be taken by the Promoter for any incomplete, late, lost or misdirected entries.
4. Draw

b. The winner will be chosen by a random electronic draw process however ONLY the most creative and well thought out entries will be included. The judges' decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into.

g. The Promoter reserves the right to redraw in the event of any entrant being unable to satisfy these competition conditions, they forfeit or they don't claim the prize. If any prize remains unclaimed or forfeited through ineligibility or otherwise, the Promoter will conduct a further draw or draws, as required, at the same time and place as the original draws but on Wednesday 16th May 2012. The Winner will be notified in writing (via email) as well as via facbook. The winner/s of these subsequent draws will be published on
http://www.pyxiapps.com & facebook on Monday 21st May 2012. The winner re-draw will take place at Level 1, 7 Clunies Ross Court, Eight Mile Plains, Brisbane, Queensland 4113 at 10:00 am.
5. Entries
a.
All entries become the property of the Promoter. By entering the promotion, and unless otherwise advised, each entrant also agrees to be entered into a database and the Promoter may use the entrants' names, addresses, telephone numbers and the winners' names and addresses and photographs for future promotional, marketing and publicity purposes in any media worldwide, including sending the entrant electronic messages, without notice and without any fee being paid unless otherwise advised by the entrant.
b. The Promoter may require an entrant or prize winner to execute any document necessary to give effect to item 2a).
6. Warranties
a. The Promoter does not take any responsibility for any costs associated with entering and/or accessing this competition including and not limited to Internet service provider costs.
b. If for any reason this promotion is not capable of running as planned due to any reason, including unauthorised intervention, fraud, or any other causes beyond the control of the Promoter, which corrupt or affect the administration security, fairness, integrity or proper conduct of this promotion, the Promoter reserves the right (subject to any applicable law) in it's sole discretion to cancel the competition or to disqualify any individual who has tampered with the entry process.
c. In the case of the intervention of any outside agent or event which naturally changes the result or prevents or hinders its determination, including but not limited to vandalism, power failures, tempests, natural disasters, acts of God, civil unrest, strikes; the Promoter may in its absolute discretion cancel the promotion and recommence it from the start on the same conditions subject to state legislation.
d. If the Promoter becomes aware that a prize winner is in breach of any warranty contained in these Terms and Conditions or made subsequently to the Promoter may deem that prize winner ineligible.
e. Except for any liability that cannot be excluded by law, the Promoter (including its officers, employees and agents) excludes all liability (including negligence), for any personal injury; or any loss or damage (including loss of opportunity); whether direct, indirect, special or consequential, arising in any way out of the Promotion, including, but not limited to, where arising out of the following: (a) any technical difficulties or equipment malfunction (whether or not under the Promoter's control); (b) any theft, unauthorized access or third party interference; (c) any entry or prize claim that is late, lost, altered, damaged or misdirected (whether or not after their receipt by the Promoters) due to any reason beyond the reasonable control of the Promoters; (d) any variation in prize value to that stated in these Conditions of Entry; (e) any tax liability incurred by a winner or entrant and/or (f) redemption of the prize.
PyxiApps Australia reserves the right to withdraw this competition at any time. The value of your application will be determined by our normal quotation process.
