Great Stayz Get-together Competition

Information on how to enter forms part of the terms of entry. Entry into the competition is deemed acceptance of these terms and conditions.
Entry is open to all residents of Australia who are 18 years of age or over. However, employees and their immediate families of Fairfax Media Australia Pty Ltd, Captiv8 Pty Ltd, any other benefiting parties and their associated agencies and companies are not eligible to enter.
The competition commences on Wednesday 01 February 2012 at 10:01 (AEDT) and entries must be received by the Promoter by Friday 16 March 2012 at 17:01 (AEDT). The Promoter accepts no responsibility for any late, lost or misdirected entries.
The competition will be hosted at http://www.stayz.com.au/get-together (the “Minisite”)
There will be one winner of a 5 night holiday for each of the properties listed below

Each winner will be entitled to return domestic flights from their city of origin to their applicable destination for up to four people to a maximum value of $1,500. Each winner will be entitled to share their holiday with up to the maximum number of permitted guests for the applicable property.
Total prize value is up to = $10,500 (including GST)
To enter, participants must enter their personal details as indicated via the Minisite and:
Nominate the property they would most like to stay at.
Nominate who they would most like to take their holiday with.
Tell us what will make their holiday so special.
Participants may only nominate one property they would like to stay at and may not enter the competition more than once.
Judging will take place at Fairfax Media, Level 2, 1 Darling Island Road, Sydney, NSW, 2009 on Monday 19th’ March 2012 at 10:00 (AEDT). Entries will be judged based on the creativity of the entry. This is a game of skill and chance plays no part in determining the winners.
Prizes cannot be transferred and cannot be redeemed for cash.
Accommodation is provided subject to Stayz.com.au’s standard terms and conditions which can be found at http://www.stayz.com.au/terms-and-conditions. Winners must also agree and adhere to (and procure that their guests agree and adhere to) the individual property owner’s terms and conditions. Any consequences for breaching any of the above mentioned terms and conditions will be born by the winner.
Property bookings must be made by the winners direct with the applicable property owner/s. Stays must be booked by Sunday, 30th September 2012 and must take place by 16th March 2013. Bookings are subject to availability. Properties Puri Pantai Beach House, Byron Bay, Allure Waterfront, Melbourne, Yallingup Sublime, Yallingup and Paradise Waterfront, Gold Coast will not be available for bookings during the following periods:

30 March 2012 – 26 April 2012
14 December 2012 – 31 January 2013
Property The Cassowary, Port Douglas will not be available for bookings during the following period:

01 June 2012 – 30 October 2012

All properties will not be available for bookings during official public holidays for that state. Standard state public holidays can be found at http://www.stayz.com.au/holidays
The winner(s) will be wholly responsible for any change, cancellation or other fees imposed by the relevant property owner.
Unless expressly stated in these terms and conditions, all expenses incurred by the winner or any third party in connection with winning or taking up a prize are the responsibility of the winner. For example, the winner (and their companion/s) is responsible for all incidental travel expenses including spending money, meals, drinks, transfers to and from the property, laundry charges, activities, incidentals, taxes, energy surcharges, gratuities, services charges, travel insurance, items of a personal nature, in-room charges and all other ancillary costs. Travel insurance is highly recommended to protect against the additional costs incurred in the event of unforeseen circumstances
The 4 return domestic flights included in each prize will be booked on behalf of the winners by Stayz Pty Ltd. Otherwise, the winners and their companion/s are responsible for making their own arrangements travelling to and from the property (including all additional flights, car hire and/or transfers to and from airports).
Stayz.com.au make no representation as to the safety, quality, condition or any other aspect of the prize accommodation.
If a prize is unavailable, for whatever reason, the Promoter reserves the right to substitute the prize for a prize of equal or greater value.
Prize values are based upon the recommended retail prices at the time of printing (inclusive of GST). The Promoter accepts no responsibility for change in prize value between now and the ultimate prize redemption date.
Independent financial advice should be sought as tax implications may arise as a result of accepting the prize.
Should a Participant’s contact details change during the competition period, it is the Participant’s responsibility to notify the Promoter. A request to access or modify any information provided in an entry should be directed to Promoter.
The Promoter reserves the right to request winners to provide proof of identity, proof of residency at the nominated prize delivery address and/or proof of entry validity in order to claim a prize. Proof of identification, residency and entry considered suitable for verification is at the discretion of the Promoter. In the event that a winner cannot provide suitable proof, the winner will forfeit the prize in whole and no substitute will be offered.
It is a condition of accepting the prize that the winner must comply with all the conditions of use of the prize and the Promoter’s requirements.
It is a condition of accepting the prize that the winners may be required to sign a legal release in a form determined by the Promoter in its absolute discretion.
In the case of the intervention of any outside act, agent or event which prevents or significantly hinders the Promoter’s ability to proceed with the competition on the dates and in the manner described in these terms and conditions, including but not limited to vandalism, power failures, tempests, natural disasters, acts of God, civil unrest, strike, war, act of terrorism, the Promoter may in its absolute discretion cancel the competition and recommence it from the start on the same conditions.
The Promoter shall not be liable for any loss or damage whatsoever which is suffered (including but not limited to indirect or consequential loss) or for any personal injury suffered or sustained in connection with any prize/s except for any liability which cannot be excluded by law. The Promoter is not responsible for any incorrect or inaccurate information, either caused by the phone user or for any of the equipment or programming associated with or utilised in this competition, or for any technical error, or any combination thereof that may occur in the course of the administration of this competition including any omission, interruption, deletion, defect, delay in operation or transmission, communications line or telephone, mobile or satellite network failure, theft or destruction or unauthorised access to or alteration of entries.
