The Erlang Find a Bug Campaign (the “Campaign”) is sponsored by The Wood Development Group Pty Ltd. (“The Wood Development Group”).
1. Campaign Eligibility
The Campaign is open to legal residents of Algeria, Australia, Austria, Bahrain, Belgium, Brazil, Bulgaria, Canada, Chile, Columbia, Croatia, Cyprus, Czech Republic, Denmark, Egypt, Estonia, Finland, France, Germany, Gibraltar, Greece, Hong Kong SAR, Hungary, Iceland, India, Ireland, Israel, Italy, Japan, Kazakhstan, Korea, Kuwait, Latvia, Lebanon, Libya, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Malta, Mexico, Morocco, Netherlands, New Zealand, Norway, Oman, Poland, Portugal, Qatar, Romania, Russia, Saudi Arabia, Serbia and Montenegro, Singapore, Slovenia, Slovakia, South Africa, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, Syria, Taiwan, Turkey, United Arab Emerates, Ukraine, United Kingdom, United States of America, and Yemen; who purchase the Erlang Calculator created by The Wood Development Group through the Apple iTunes store between 15th January 2012 and 15th March 2012. Employees and retirees of The Wood Development Group and its affiliates, associates, representatives, advertising and promotional agencies and members of the immediate family of these employees and retirees or any person with whom they are domiciled are not eligible to enter the Campaign.
2. Selection of Winners
The iPad winner will be the first person to inform The Wood Development Group of a bug with the Erlang Calculator as listed on Apple Itunes and have this bug validated by The Wood Development Group.
A “bug” is determined as an error with the coding which would result in incorrect calculations of Erlangs or the user interface of the software.
The winner will need to have paid for and downloaded the Erlang application from their local iTunes store and notified The Wood Development Group of the bug they have found via email at
bugs@ic3solutions.com The Wood Development Group will then work with this person to validate the bug.
The $50 iTunes winners will be the first 5 people to inform The Wood Development Group of a grammar or spelling error with the Erlang Calculator as listed on Apple Itunes and have this validated by The Wood Development Group.
3. Determination of a “bug”
A “bug” is determined as an error with the coding which would result in incorrect calculations of Erlangs or the user interface of the software.
4. Odds of Winning
Only one (1) winner will be eligible for the iPad. Any other bugs found by other entries will not be eligible in this campaign.
Only five (5) winners will be eligible for the $50 iTunes vouchers. Any other grammar/spelling issue entries will not be eligible in this campaign.
5. Notification of Campaign Winner and Awarding of iPad
The Wood Development Group will contact the first person who has identified a bug and will work with this person to qualify the issue.
If the issue is not determined to be a bug, The Wood Development Group will contact the 2nd entry and work with this person to qualify the issue.
The Wood Development Group will continue contacting the entries in order of the date/time of the receipt of the email entry until a qualified bug is determined.
The winner will be required to validate the bug and prove how hey came to this conclusion.
The winner will then be required provide a short video statement confirming the bug that was discovered and a second video confirming receipt of the iPad once it is received.
The Wood Development Group reserves the right to use any other method or medium that deems fit at its sole and absolute discretion for the purpose of contacting and/or announcing the Campaign recipient. Proof of purchase from the iTunes store does not represent proof that The Wood Development Group has received such details. The Wood Development Group reserves the right to forfeit entries for entries where the purchase is not visible within the iTunes Connect portal. The Wood Development Group reserves the right to appoint a third party to conduct the verification of Campaign winner and to fulfill the delivery of the iPad and campaign entries agree that The Wood Development Group may provide all necessary information of the selected winner to such third party to facilitate such service.
5. Awarding of iPad.
Only one (1) iPad will be given away.
The winner will be informed and will be awarded a new iPad 2, 64GB with WiFi and 3G, valued as at 15/1/2012 at AUD$949.00
The Wood Development Group reserves the right to change the iPad model without any prior notification.
The iPad is not transferable or redeemable in any other form for whatever reason. The Wood Development Group, it sponsors and representatives shall have no liability to the winner to receive the iPad in any respect whatsoever. The iPad is non-transferable and there is no cash alternative.
The Wood Development Group reserves the right to request written proof of residency and age of the winner before the iPad is dispatched or collected. The Wood Development Group makes no warranties or representations whatsoever with respect to the iPad and shall not be responsible nor liable for any problems and/or damage thereto or arising there from.
No responsibility will be accepted by The Wood Development Group for the safe and effective downloading of the Erlang Calculator
6. Publicity
The Wood Development Group reserves the right, at its sole and absolute discretion, to use the nicknames, names, likeness, picture, photographs, hometown, biographical information and voice or video recordings of the Campaign winner without first obtaining any consent nor making any payment whatsoever to the Campaign winner(s) for publicity, advertising, trade or promotion purposes in any media.
7. Void Where Prohibited
This Campaign is void where prohibited by law.
8. Variation to the Terms & Conditions
The Wood Development Group reserves the right to change, amend, delete or add to these Campaign Terms and Conditions without prior notice at any time and the Campaign entries shall be bound to such changes.
9. Liability
The Wood Development Group shall not be responsible for technical malfunctions, lost/delayed data transmission, omission, interruption, deletion, defect, faulty, incomplete, incomprehensible, or erased computer or network transmissions, line failures of any telephone network, failure of computer equipment, software, inability to access any online service or web site, inability to submit the online survey, or any other error or malfunction, or any injury or damage to entrant’s or any other person’s computer or iPad related to or resulting from participation or downloading any materials in this Campaign.
The Wood Development Group will not be responsible or liable for any problem, damage or loss of whatsoever nature to any person resulting from their participation in the Campaign.
10. Disqualification or Suspension
The Wood Development Group reserves the right at its sole discretion to disqualify any individual that it determines to be tampering with the entry process or the operation of the Campaign, to be acting in breach or potential breach of these Campaign Terms and Conditions and/or The Wood Development Group Website Use and Access Agreement. No correspondence shall be entertained. The Wood Development Group further reserves the right to cancel, modify suspend or delay the Campaign in the event of unforeseen circumstances beyond its reasonable control.
