Terms and Conditions
The Promoter
The Jetset Travel - Travel Challenge Facebook competition (the “Competition”) is operated by Stella Travel Services (Australia) Pty Limited (ABN 84 003 237 296) trading as Jetset Travel of Level 3, 77 Berry Street, North Sydney, NSW 2060 (02 8229 4000) (the “Promoter”). Travel Agents Licence No NSW 2TA 002558..
The Competition is in no way sponsored, endorsed or administered by, or associated with Facebook.
Who Can Enter
Entry is available only to Australian residents. Entrants under the age of 18 years must have prior parental/guardian consent to enter.
If the winner of the Prize is under the age of 18 years, the Prize will be awarded to the winner’s parent /guardian and the Prize Winner for the purpose of these terms and conditions will be deemed to be such parent/guardian.
Director, managements and employees (including their immediate families) of the Promoter, agencies associated with the Competition and each of their related bodies corporateare not eligible to enter the Competition.
By entering the Competition, the Participant agrees to be bound by these terms and conditions and by any other requirements set out in the promotional material accompanying the Competition.
How to Enter
The Competition opens at 09.00am on 13th February 2012 and
closes at 09.00am on 19th of March 2012 (the “Competition Period”), during which there will be five distinct weekly prize games on 13th, 20th, 27th February and 5th, 12th March 2012. Each weekly prize game will open at 09.00am on the Monday of the given week and close at 09.00am on the following Monday.
For each of the five weeks of the Competition, a different holiday package will be featured. To enter the Competition, Participants must ‘Like’ the Jetset Travel Facebook page, guess the value of the featured holiday using the sliding scale and provide their name, email address and state.
Multiple entries are not permitted.
The use of any automated entry software or any other mechanical or electronic means that allows a Participant to automatically enter repeatedly is prohibited and will render all entries submitted by that Participant invalid.
The Promoter reserves the right, at any time, to verify the validity of entries and entrants (including an entrant’s identity, age and place of residence) and to disqualify any entrant who submits an entry that is not in accordance with these terms and conditions or who tampers with the entry process. Failure by the Promoter to enforce any of its rights at any stage does not constitute a waiver of those rights.
How to Win
Entries will be judged at the end of each week.
The Participant who is the first to correctly guess the exact value of the featured holiday in a given week will be deemed the winner (the “Prize Winner”) for that week. In the event that none of the Participants correctly guesses the exact value of the featured holiday in a given week, the Participant with the closest guess will be deemed the Prize Winner for that week. If there are two or more Participants who each submit a guess of equal closeness, the Participant who submitted their guess first will be deemed the Prize Winner for that week.
This is a game of skill and chance plays no part in determining the winners
Participants agree to abide by the decisions of the judges, which are final, on all matters pertaining to the Competition. No correspondence will be entered into.
The Prize Winners will be notified via Email within two business days of the end of the week in which they submitted their entry. The Prize Winners must accept their Prize by emailing their details back to the Promoter (in accordance with the Promoter’s instructions).
If the Prize is not claimed within 3 weeks of notification, the Prize Winner will forfeit their Prize.
If the Prize is not claimed within 3 weeks of notification, the Prize Winner will forfeit their Prize. The Promoter will award the forfeited Prize to the Participant with the next closest guess.
The Promoter will take no responsibility if the Prize Winner's contact details are incorrect or incomplete and/or the Prize Winner cannot be contacted.
The Prize will be sent by post or via email to the Prize Winners within 4 weeks of the end of the Competition Period. The Promoter will cover all postage costs and will take no responsibility for Prizes lost in transit.
Names of the Prize Winners will be posted on the Jetset Travel Facebook page.
Any Prize that has been claimed by the Prize Winner but not redeemed or used will be forfeited and the Promoter will not be obliged to substitute the Prize.
Prizes
The Prize Winner will win a $1000 Intrepid voucher (the “Prize”) to be redeemed at any Jetset Travel store for which they provide the correct (or closest to correct) value estimate for the featured holiday package. The terms and condition for the Intrepid vouchers are below:
The prize winner will receive a $1000 voucher to be redeemed at any Jetset Travel agency;
The voucher cannot be redeemed or exchanged for cash or used across multiple transactions;
The prize is land only. All domestic & international flights, all incidental expenses and taxes not specified herein will be the sole responsibility of the winner and his/her guest, including without limitation: airport transfers, ground transportation, travel insurance, visas, trip kitties, food, beverages and the like. The winner and guest are responsible for obtaining all travel documents, including passports and/or visas, as applicable. Travel Insurance is required to be held by all Intrepid travellers & is not included in the prize;
The trip is subject to availability and confirmation by Intrepid Travel at time of booking. Blackout periods may apply;
Travel must be booked to depart by 28 February 2013 or prize will be forfeited and Sponsor will have no further obligation to such winner. No extension is available;
Travel arrangements must be booked and confirmed at least forty five (45) days prior to departure date. Standard booking conditions apply and can be found at
www.intrepidtravel.com; Trips are only operated if minimum passenger numbers are met and consist of passengers paying full price;
Prize cannot be used in conjunction with any other discounts or special offers;
Prize valid on new bookings only and cannot be applied to existing bookings;
There will be five prizes in total.
Prizes can be redeemed at any Jetset Travel store in Australia. The list and details of these stores can be found on the Jetset Travel website

The Promoter reserves the right to substitute an alternative of the same or comparable value if it, in its sole discretion, deems necessary. Prizes include nothing other than that expressly stated to be included as part of the Prize.
All ancillary costs arising as a result for accepting the Prize is the responsibility of the Prize Winner.
Prize vouchers must be treated like cash. Lost or stolen vouchers cannot be replaced or refunded.
Vouchers may be partially redeemable; any balance that remains on the voucher can only be used in whole or part against future purchases prior to expiry.
Vouchers are valid for 12 months from activation. Vouchers will be sent to you already activated. The activation date/expiry date will be stated on the Winner’s letter accompanying the voucher.
The travel products chosen by the Prize Winners in exchange for their travel vouchers are subject to availability at the time of booking. Availability of flights, accommodation, tours and other travel products are beyond the control of the Promoter.
All bookings are subject to the booking terms and conditions of the participating Travelworld stores. Service fees may apply to some bookings.
All Prize Winners agree to participate in such reasonable publicity, whereby the name and photograph of the Prize Winner may be used for promotional purposes by the Promoter unless the Prize Winner otherwise notifies the Promoter at the time of claiming the Prize.
By entering the Competition all Participants consent to (a) the use of their personal details by the Promoter for the purposes of the administration of the Competition and (b) the Promoter using and/or disclosing such information in accordance with the Promoter’s Privacy Policy (including for future promotional purposes), which can be viewed at
http://www.jetset.com.au/privacy. Participants consent that the Promoter can continue to contact them even after the Competition.
Any information provided as part of the Competition is provided to the Promoter and not to Facebook.
No Liability
The Promoter reserves the right to modify or vary the Competition and/or these terms and conditions at any time.
To the extent permitted by law, the Promoter will not be liable for any loss, damage or personal injury (including direct, indirect or consequential) suffered or sustained by the Participant in connection with the Competition in any way, including but not limited to any technical difficulties accessing or participating in the Competition, any ancillary costs and tax liabilities associated with redeeming or using the Prize, any variation in the Prize value and any variation to these terms and conditions by the Promoter.
If, for any reason that is beyond the Promoter’s reasonable control, the Promoter is unable to perform its obligations under these terms and conditions, the Promoter will not be held liable for any delay in performing or for failing to perform these obligations. In such circumstance, the Promoter reserves its right to cancel, terminate, suspend or modify the Competition.
These terms and conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with laws of Australia and the courts of Australia will have exclusive jurisdiction in relation to any disputes arising.
