Miss Surfest is a prestigious swimwear competition held annually to coincide with the Surf event "Surfest" held in Newcastle, close to close to central coast, north of Sydney.
Past contestants have included 2004 Miss Universe Jennifer Hawkins; 2004 winner of Australia’s Next Top Model competition Gemma Sanderson and Price Is Right hostess Samantha Steele.

The event receives extensive exposure from a of number media outlets. The Miss Surfest Search is conducted at the iconic Newcastle entertainment venue - Fannys. The prize pool is valued at over $25 000, including a feature shoot with the internationally recognised surfing magazine "Tracks".
GRANDFINAL FRIDAY 16TH MARCH
The winner, runners-up and other grand finalists then participate in a host of official duties across the final series weekend of Surfest, with the opportunity to mix with the world’s best professional surfers at official functions, presentations and ceremonies.
This event is a great opportunity for exposure within the media, Surfest is an internationally recognised competition, that attracts much interest from top end sponsors as well as high end professional photographers and agencies. The winner will also have the opportunity to attend a world competition as Miss Australia.

No Experience needed, no height requirement. On Friday 24th February we will be coordinating a one night male competition Mr Surfest with cash money up for grabs.
