TERMS & CONDITIONS OF ENTRY
1. By entering the Radio Rentals (Rentlo in SA) competition, you agree to the following terms
and conditions.
2. Information on how to enter this competition forms part of the terms of entry.
3. The competition commences on Monday 27 February 2012 at 00:01 Australian Eastern
Daylight Saving Time (AEDT) and concludes Friday 09 March 2012 at 13:00 AEDT (the
“Promotion Period”).
4. The competition will be advertised on The Circle on Network TEN via ten.com.au and
ten.com.au/the circle.
5. This promotion is a game of skill and chance plays no part in determining the prize winner/s.
ENTRY ELIGIBILITY
6. Entry is open to all residents of Australia. However, entrants under the age of 18 must
obtain the prior permission of a parent or guardian over the age of 18.
7. Employees and their immediate families of Network Ten Pty Ltd, Thorn Australia Pty Ltd and
their associated agencies and companies associated with the Promotion are not eligible to
enter.
8. Entrants are required to be a registered member of Network TEN in order to submit a valid
entry. Registration is via ten.com.au or Ten’s associated websites. It is free to become a
member. These Terms and Conditions apply in conjunction with the Ten Members rules. The
cost of accessing the promotional website will be dependent on the entrant’s individual
Internet Service Provider.
HOW TO ENTER
PHASE 1
9. To enter, the entrant or ‘Nominator’ must be a registered member of the Network Ten
website (ref Clause
.
10. The Nominator is required to sign in to ten.com.au and navigate to the Radio Rentals (Rentlo
in SA) competition page to complete the online entry form in which they will be required to
provide certain personal contact information.
11. To submit a valid entry the Nominator must:
a. Nominate 1 x deserving person to win 1 of 5 Major prizes (the Nominee); and
b. Identify the Nominee’s first and last name; and
c. Confirm their relationship to the Nominee; and
d. In 50 words or less describe why the Nominee deserves to win a Major Prize.
PHASE 2
12. At the conclusion of the Promotion Period the Promoter will contact the Nominators whose
entries were judged most worthy, and which have been shortlisted for a chance to win the
Major Prize. The Promoter will also provide the Nominator with relevant contact details for
the purposes of clause 13.
13. The Nominator is required to contact the Nominee to advise that they have been shortlisted
to win a Major Prize in the Promotion. It is then up to the Nominee to contact the Promoter

at the contact details provided to confirm that they consent to being shortlisted and
therefore are eligible to be in the running to win the Major Prize.
14. All Nominators and Nominees who are shortlisted must confirm (in writing or verbally) to
the Promoter that in the event that they are ultimately judged a prize winner, they consent
to participating in a live winner announcement during which they will be filmed telephoning
the Nominee to tell them that they have won, with the segment being broadcast on-air on
the Promoter’s program ‘The Circle’.
15. Five (5) of the shortlisted Nominees will be telephoned by The Circle producers and/or a
Circle Presenter and deemed Major Winners (non-winners will not be notified but will be reentered
with a chance to win one of the remaining prizes). Ref Table.

PRIZE DETAILS
16. 5 x Nominees deemed the Major Prize Winners will each receive a Radio Rentals (Rentlo in
SA) prize package including:
• 1 x LG 422ltr top mount fridge/freezer – RRP $999
• 1 x LG 6.5kg top load washing machine – RRP $849
• 1 x LG 38ltr microwave – RRP $219
Each prize pack valued at $2,067
The five (5) Nominators of the Major Prize Winners will each receive:
1 x Olympus VR-310 digital still camera – RRP $249
Total prize pool valued at $11,580
GENERAL CONDITIONS
17. Nominations for Nominees who live at the same address as the Nominator will not be
accepted and their entries will be deemed invalid.
18. A limit of one online entry per household, per day is permitted.
19. All entries must be received within the Promotion Period.

20. The Promoter accepts no responsibility for any late, lost or misdirected entries including
entries not received by the Promoter or delays in the delivery of the entry due to technical
disruptions, network congestion, technical faults or any other reason.
21. Incomplete or incomprehensible entries will be deemed invalid.
22. Prizes cannot be transferred or exchanged and are not redeemable for cash.
23. Only one winner per household is permitted.
24. If for any reason an element of the prize becomes unavailable due to an event which is out
of the Promoter’s control, (prior to the prize leaving the Promoter’s premises), then a similar
prize of equal value will be awarded in lieu.
25. In the event that for any reason whatsoever a winner does not take an element of the prize
at the time stipulated by the Promoter then that element of the prize will be forfeited by the
winner and cash will not be awarded in lieu of that element of the prize.
26. Unless expressly stated in these terms and conditions all other expenses (including
installation) become the responsibility of the winner/s.
27. Once prizes have left the Prize Sponsor’s premises, the Promoter takes no responsibility for
prizes damaged, delayed or lost in transit. It is up to the Nominator to notify the Nominee
that once the Nominee signs the delivery record they are deemed to have accepted the
goods in good working order. Any claims of damaged prizes need to be directed to the Prize
Sponsor.
28. Prize values are based on the recommended retail price at the time of printing (inclusive of
GST). The Promoter accepts no responsibility for change in prize value between now and the
prize redemption date.
PRIZE JUDGING
29. Each Nominee who has submitted a valid entry in accordance with these Terms and
Conditions over the duration of the promotional period will be entered into the competition.
30. The Major Prize Winners will be judged in the week commencing Friday 9thMarch, 2012 at
13:30 AEDT at the premises of the Promoter. The 5 (five) most deserving Nominees as
determined by the Promoter will be deemed the 'Major Prize Winners'.
31. The Nominator of each of the Major Prize winning Nominees will receive a Nominator’s
prize.

32. The Promoter reserves the right to request Nominators and their Nominees to provide proof
of identity, proof of residency at the nominated prize delivery address and/or proof of entry
validity in order to claim a prize. Proof of identification, residency and entry considered
suitable for verification is at the discretion of the Promoter. The Nominator must advise the
Nominee that in the event that a Nominee wins and they cannot provide suitable proof, the
prize will be forfeited in whole and no substitute will be offered.
33. The Nominee’s prize will be awarded to the winning Nominee named in the entry. Once
winner status has been established the Nominee must provide their full contact details
including but not limited to full name, address and telephone number in order to fulfil the
prize and verify details. The Nominator’s prize will be awarded to the person named in the
entry. Should an entrant’s contact details change during the Promotion Period, it is the
entrant's responsibility to notify the Promoter. A request to access or modify any
information provided in an entry should be directed to Promoter.
34. The Promoter’s decision is final and the Promoter will not enter into correspondence
regarding the competition result.
STANDARD TERMS
35. The Promoter reserves the right to verify the validity of entries and to disqualify any entry
which, in the opinion of Promoter, includes objectionable content, profanity, potentially
insulting, inflammatory or defamatory statements, disqualify any entrant who tampers with
the entry process, who submits an entry that is not in accordance with these Terms &
Conditions of Entry or who has, in the opinion of Promoter, engaged in conduct in entering
the Promotion which is fraudulent, misleading, deceptive or generally damaging to the
goodwill or reputation of the Promotion and/or Promoter. The Promoter reserves the right
to disqualify a Nominee or Nominator if the Promoter becomes aware that the Nominator’s
entry is of a type described in this clause.
36. It is a condition of entering this competition that the Nominator may be required to sign a
legal release in a form determined by the Promoter in its absolute discretion.
37. In the case of the intervention of any outside act, agent or event which prevents or
significantly hinders the Promoter’s ability to proceed with the competition on the dates and
in the manner described in these terms and conditions, including but not limited to
vandalism, power failures, tempests, natural disasters, acts of God, civil unrest, strike, war
and act of terrorism, the Promoter may in its absolute discretion cancel the competition and
recommence it at a later date, on the same terms and conditions, subject to any applicable
laws.
38. Network Ten Pty Ltd and the Prize Sponsor Thorn Australia Pty Ltd shall not be liable for any
loss or damage whatsoever which is suffered (including but not limited to indirect or
consequential loss) or for any personal injury suffered or sustained in connection with any

prize/s except for any liability which cannot be excluded by law. The Promoter and the Prize
Sponsor are not responsible for any incorrect or inaccurate information, either caused by
the user or for any of the equipment or programming associated with or utilised in this
competition, or for any technical error, or any combination thereof that may occur in the
course of the administration of this competition including any omission, interruption,
deletion, defect, delay in operation or transmission, communications line, or satellite
network failure, theft or destruction or unauthorised access to or alteration of entries.
39. The Promoter reserves the right in its sole discretion to disqualify any individual who the
Promoter has reason to believe has breached any of these conditions, or engaged in any
unlawful or other improper misconduct calculated to jeopardise the fair and proper conduct
of the promotion. The Promoter’s legal rights to recover damages or other compensation
from such an offender are reserved.

41. If for any reason this competition is not capable of running as planned, including due to
infection by computer virus, bugs, tampering, unauthorised intervention, fraud, technical
failures or any causes beyond the control of the Promoter, which corrupt or affect the
administration, security, fairness or integrity or proper conduct of this promotion, the
Promoter reserves the right in its sole discretion to disqualify any individual who tampers
with the entry process, take any action that may be available, and to cancel, terminate,
modify or suspend the competition, subject to applicable laws.
42. All entries become the property of The Promoter. The Promoter collects personal
information to enable entrants to participate in this promotion and judge the winners and
contact the Nominator (Ref Clause 12) but no further use of this information will be made
without prior consent.
43. Network TEN is collecting the entrant's personal information for the purpose of conducting
and judging this competition (including but not limited to notifying the winner).
