All entrants and competition winners consent to the publication of their name and suburb of residence and agree to participate in reasonable promotional activities as requested by News Limited and its publishing newspapers in Queensland and New South Wales. News Limited reserves the right to limit the number of participants in Fantasy NRL (SuperCoach) at any time for any reason.

2. TERM OF COMPETITION

SuperCoach for NRL will be conducted during the normal National Rugby League home and away season. The competition period commences at 12:01AM AEST on Wednesday 25 January 2012 and will cover each of the 26 rounds of fixtures conducted as part of the 2012 NRL Premiership Season.

3. HOW TO ENTER

To enter, participants must first complete the online registration form on the Web Site. There are no charges for registration and all games are free. Once registered, participants receive their personalised home page, where they are required to:

        Choose a nickname, which is also used as their team name;
        Participate in the selection of SuperCoach for NRL side;
        Play and maintain the side in accordance with these official rules;
        If they were invited to join a private league, enter the appropriate details to join that league (participants may create or join up to 5 Private or Public Leagues with their single registration and team entry). The private league competition begins at the end of round 4 when leagues of 16 SuperCoach for NRL teams will be formed.

From round 4 to round 22, each team in a private league will "play" every other team in that league once, except for Rounds 11,14,17 and 18, which will be league 'bye' rounds. The winner of each round is the team with the most SuperCoach for NRL points for that round.

Teams will get 2 points for a win, 1 point for a tie and nothing for a loss. Then, during rounds 23-26, the top eight teams in a private league will participate in a finals series to determine the league Premier. Also during rounds 23-26, the bottom eight teams in a private league will participate in a finals series to determine the minor league premier.

Private leagues can be joined in one of three ways:

        Participants can use the League page on the Web Site to create and name up to five private leagues that other players can be invited to join. If there are fewer than 16 teams in a private league, other teams will be automatically recruited to make up a 16-side league.

        Players invited by another participant to join a private league will receive an invitation and link to the registration page for the SuperCoach for NRL game and once registered, will be automatically added to the league.
        Participants can accept an invitation from another SuperCoach for NRL player to join their private league using the league code that will be sent to them.
        Participants who elect to do neither of the above will be automatically entered into a 16-team public league.

Participants can only enter SuperCoach for NRL once. Under no circumstances can participants enter two or more teams in SuperCoach for NRL.

Any entry that fails to provide all required information may be disqualified. News Limited assumes no responsibility for incomplete, late or misdirected entries, or entries received through impermissible or illegitimate channels or for failed, partial or garbled computer transmissions, or for technical failures of any kind. News Limited reserves the right to disqualify any entrant submitting an entry which is not made in accordance with the terms of these official rules or who does not abide by the Web Site terms and conditions.

In order to meet the minimum activity requirements for SuperCoach for NRL, participants must access their SuperCoach for NRL home page at least once every 30 days. Participants that fail to meet the minimum activity requirements may be disqualified at News Limited's discretion.

4. SCORING OF POINTS

Each participant chooses a squad of 25 players according to salary cap and positional restrictions described on this Web Site. Participants must choose a 25-man squad according to the following positional requirements: 2 fullbacks, 7 wings/centres, 2 five-eighths, 2 halfbacks, 6 front row forwards and 6 second row forwards.

Each week, participants choose 13 players in their starting lineup and 4 players from their remaining 12 'substitutes', whose contribution to a participant's SuperCoach for NRL score is based on the player's real-life performance in that week's NRL round. Points are only scored by players selected for each game/round.

After selecting their 17 players, participants must choose a team captain who will score double points for the round. Participants may also choose a Vice Captain, who will score double points for the round if the selected Captain scores 0 points for reasons such as not playing that round or being a late withdrawal.

Players traded during the season do not get their aggregate points added or subtracted to the participant's total.

Participants can replace members of their squad via the Trade page of this Web Site.

Participants can make up to 30 trades per season with a maximum of 2 trades in any given round. Trades must be made prior to the commencement of the next round and will be subject to the participant's SuperCoach for NRL salary cap. Player values can be found on the Player Draft, Team, Trade and Statistics pages of this Web Site.
