Leaving the Runaway Bay Mariner at 9 o’clock we embark on a two hour sailing adventure destined for the northern tip of South Stradbroke Island (Jumpinpin). If you arrange for catering for the day nibbles and drinks will be served along the way. BYO alcoholic beverage. If you prefer to bring your own food we will be more than happy to serve this to you while sailing north.
The half way destination is full of beautiful white sandy beaches and crystal clear water. There are wallabies, pelicans, sea eagles and plenty of marine life to be seen. Yabbies are bountiful at low tide if you would like to bait up and try to catch a fish to take home. Alternatively you may prefer to have a swim and sunbake or take a 20 minute walk over to the ocean side of the point to fossick for shells and enjoy the ocean waves.
If you choose to bring a lunch along with you, this will be served back on board the boat. At 2 o’clock we will hoist the sails once again and make a start on our return voyage. By 5 o’clock we will have docked up at the mariner ready for you to disembark the yacht feeling satisfied by your boat cruise gold coast waterways day of fun in the sun, sailing on the sea.
