METCASH 'GAME OF SKILL' PROMOTION
FULL TERMS AND CONDITIONS
HOW TO ENTER
1.To enter, simply purchase any two (2) Lynx products from a participating Metcash store between 12.00am AEDST 5th March 2012 and 12.00am AEDST 16th April 2012.
2.Go online to
www.lynxeffect.com.au and complete the entry form in full as requested, including the last 4 digits of your two (2) Lynx product barcodes (found on the back of your Lynx products) and the last four (4) digits of the Eligible Purchase’s receipt number - and tell us in 25 words or less “why you should win an Atomik Feral 110cc, fully automatic Quad Bike”. Entrants must also:
•Select which Metcash store they are entering the promotion through (a drop down list of Metcash stores will be available to select from).
•Check the tick box to confirm they have read and accepted the Terms and Conditions.
•Check the tick box to confirm they have read and accepted the waiver relating to the Quad Bike prize.
•Selected a helmet size from the drop down options available (in the event of winning, the eligible winner will be awarded a helmet size in accordance with this entry).
3.One prize winner will be selected from the each participating Metcash store. Entries will be judged on creativity and literary merit.
4.Entrants may enter as many times as they wish, provided that each separate entry is based on the purchase of any two (2) Lynx products, purchased in one transaction during the promotional period. Each response to the question must be the entrant’s original work and contain a unique response.
5.As part of these terms and conditions you are required to keep the original or copies of all receipt(s) as proof of purchase for all entries made. Proof of purchase supporting any eligible entrants winning entry will be requested before any prize is awarded. Failure to provide these to the Promoter upon request may, at the Promoter's discretion; result in an invalid entry (and, at the Promoter's discretion, in all of the entrant's entries being invalid).
CONDITIONS OF ENTRY
1.Information on how to enter and prizes form part of these Conditions of Entry.
2.Entry into this promotion is deemed to be acceptance of these Conditions of Entry.
3.Entry is open to residents of Australia. Employees and their immediate families of the Promoter, participating Metcash outlets and their agencies associated with this promotion are ineligible to enter. Entrants under the age of 18 years must obtain the consent of their parent or legal guardian to enter. If the Major Prize winner is under the age of 18, the Major Prize will be awarded to the parents or guardian on behalf of the winner.
4.Promotion commences at 12.00 AM AEDST on 05/03/2012 and closes at 12.00 AM AEDST on 16/04/2012. (“Promotional Period”).
5.To enter firstly purchase any two (2) Lynx products from any participating Metcash store during the Promotional Period. Consumers must then go online to
www.lynxeffect.com.au and correctly fill out all required information, answering all fields and tell us in 25 words or less ‘why you should win an Atomik Feral 110cc, fully automatic Quad Bike’. Entrants must also:
•Select which Metcash store they are entering the promotion through (a drop down list of Metcash stores will be available to select from).
•Check the tick box to confirm they have read and accepted the Terms and Conditions.
•Check the tick box to confirm they have read and accepted the waiver relating to the Quad Bike prize.
•Selected a helmet size from the drop down options available (in the event of winning, the eligible winner will be awarded a helmet size in accordance with this entry).
•Complete and submit this information in full in order to submit a valid entry.
6.There will be one prize winner selected per Metcash store. All valid entries submitted will be judged (on a per store basis) between the 17/04/2012 and the 23/04/2012 by a representative of the promoter. Each valid entry will be individually judged based on literary and creative merit. This is a game of skill; chance plays no part in determining the winners. Winners will be notified by email and/or phone by the 27/04/2012.
7.The Promoters Representative’s decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into.
8.Each winner selected will win one (1) Atomik 110cc, fully automatic Quad Bike. The promoter will also offer a helmet to each winner which they may or may not accept. Prize does not include any safety wear, insurance, nor does it include any fuel. Delivery of the prize to the winner is not included. Recommended retail price for the Atomik Feral Quad Bike is $690 including GST. Up to 150 Dirt Bike prizes to be won (1 Dirt Bike prize per participating store). Total prize pool valued at up to $103,500.00. Total prize pool and total number of Dirt Bike prizes are subject to change pending number of participating stores.
9.Prize value is inclusive of GST and is in Australian dollars.
10.The Promoter reserves the right to substitute or vary the prize to the same value.
11.The prize is not transferable or exchangeable and cannot be taken as cash unless specified otherwise.
12.Entrants must retain a copy of their receipt for each entry used to enter this promotion, as proof of purchase. Each entry must be supported by the (separate) purchase of two (2) Lynx products during the promotional period. If an entry is selected with no eligible receipt attached the promoter reserves the right to deem that entry invalid.
13.Online entries only as described in clause 6 are acceptable. Entries submitted online after the closing time and date will be deemed invalid.
14.The Promoter is not responsible for receipt of incomplete, illegible, damaged or incomprehensible entries. All such entries will be deemed invalid. No responsibility is accepted for late, lost or misdirected entries. Any entry that does not comply with these terms and conditions will be invalid.
15.The Promoter reserves the right to request winners to provide proof of identity and residency as per the details entered on the online entry form. Any contact details entered incorrectly shall invalidate the entry at the discretion of the Promoter. Identification considered suitable for verification is at the discretion of the Promoter. The Promoter reserves the right to disqualify any entrant for tampering with the entry process or for submitting an entry, which is not in accordance with these Conditions of Entry and the prize will be redrawn in accordance with these Terms and Conditions.
16.The Promoter reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to disqualify all entries from and prohibit further participation in this competition by any person who tampers with, or benefits from any tampering with, the entry process or the operation of the game, acts in violation of these conditions of entry, acts in a disruptive manner, or acts with the intent to annoy, abuse, threaten or harass any other person.
17.Entries made using barcodes or store receipts that are stolen, forged or tampered with in any way are void.
18.In the event that for any reason whatsoever the winner of a prize does not accept the prize, or any part thereof, at the time stipulated by the Promoter, then the prize, or any part thereof, will be forfeited by the winner.
19.The Promoter is not liable for any loss or damage whatsoever which is suffered (including but not limited to indirect or consequential loss) or for any personal injury suffered or sustained in connection with accepting any prize, except for any liability which cannot be excluded by law.
20.It is a condition of accepting the prize that the winner will be required to sign a legal release in a form to be determined by the Promoter in its absolute discretion, before any prize can be awarded.
21.If for any reason this promotion is not capable of running as planned, including but not limited to technical failures, unauthorised intervention, fraud or any other cause beyond the control of the Promoter which corrupts or affects the administration, security, fairness, integrity or proper conduct of this promotion, the Promoter reserves the right in its sole discretion to disqualify any individual who tampers with the entry process, and, subject to any written directions given by any relevant Regulatory Authority, to cancel, terminate, modify or suspend the promotion.
22.All entries become the property of the Promoter. The Promoter collects entrants’ personal information in order to conduct the promotion. If the information requested is not provided, the entrant may not participate in the promotion. By entering this promotion, unless otherwise advised, each entrant also agrees that the Promoter may use this information, in any media for future promotional, marketing and publicity purposes without any further reference, payment or other compensation to the entrant, including sending the entrant electronic messages. Entrants’ personal information may be disclosed to State and Territory lottery departments and winners’ names published as required under the relevant lottery legislation.
