TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF ENTRY
1. Information on how to enter the competition forms part of these terms and conditions. Participation in the competition is deemed acceptance of these terms and conditions.
2. The promoter of this Promotion is Colonial First State Global Asset Management (ABN 96 101 504 045) at 345 Victoria Avenue, Chatswood NSW 2067. Telephone: 02 9419 6255 ('Promoter').
3. Entry is only open to Australian residents. Officers, management and employees (and their immediate families) of the Promoter, the Promoter‟s associated companies and contractors, retailers at the Centre and agencies associated with this Competition are ineligible to enter.
4. The Promotion commences at 9.30am on 5.3.2012 & ends with close of business on 31.3.2012 (“Promotional Period”).
5. Customers may enter the competition by spending a minimum of $280 („Minimum Spend‟) or more at participating fashion & beauty retailers during the course of one (1) day during the Promotional Period and presenting their original receipts at the customer service desk, as proof of purchase and completing an entry form. Full name, address, phone number and any other required contact details must be stated clearly on the entry form.
6. The Minimum Spend may be made at multiple participating fashion and beauty retailers within the Centre and may include retailer gift card purchases. Transactions undertaken at major retailers such as department stores and supermarkets are ineligible. Layby, ATM, bill payment and cash withdrawal transactions are ineligible.
7. Only one entry may be submitted per person, per day.
8. The prize consists of one (1) centre gift card to the value of $1,000 and a style session.
The total prize pool is valued at $1,500.
9. The winner of the Competition will be determined by draw. The draw will take place on Wednesday 4th April 2012 at the Chatswood Chase Sydney Centre Management Office, 345 Victoria Ave, NSW, 2067. The Promoter reserves the right to draw additional reserve entries and record them in order in case an invalid entry or ineligible entrant is drawn.
10. The winner of the Major Prize will be notified by telephone within 2 days of the draw.
11. The Major Prize must be collected within 3 months from the date of the draw. Failure to collect the Major Prize within this time will result in it being forfeited and the Promoter may draw another winner for the Major Prize on Wednesday July 4 2012 at the same time and place as the original draw, subject to any approval or direction of a relevant regulatory authority.
12. Unless otherwise specified, prizes, or any unused portion of a prize, are not transferable or exchangeable and cannot be redeemed for cash, and must be taken on an 'as is' basis as offered.
13. The Promoter reserves the right, at any time, to verify the validity of entries, prize claims and entrants (including an entrant‟s identity, age and place of residence) and to disqualify any entrant who submits an entry or prize claim that is not in accordance with these terms and conditions or who tampers with the entry process. Incomplete, indecipherable, or illegible entries will be deemed invalid. Failure by the Promoter to enforce any of its rights at any stage does not constitute a waiver of those rights.
14. If this Competition is interfered with in any way or is not capable of being conducted as reasonably anticipated due to any reason beyond the reasonable control of the Promoter, the Promoter reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to the fullest extent permitted by law (a) to disqualify any entrant; or (b) subject to any approval or direction from a regulatory authority, to modify, suspend, terminate or cancel the Competition.
15. By entering the Competition, an entrant releases and indemnifies the Promoter (including its officers, employees and agents) from and against all actions, liabilities, penalties, claims or demands the entrant may have against the Promoter or that the Promoter may incur for any loss or damage which is or may be suffered or sustained as a direct or indirect result of an entrant entering or participating in the Competition or winning or failing to win a prize, or using or permitting any other person to use the prize, except for any liability which cannot be excluded by law or which would cause any part of this clause to be void or unenforceable.
16. The Promoter‟s decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into.
17. All entries become the property of the Promoter.
Privacy Statement:
By entering the Competition, unless otherwise stated by the entrant, each entrant consents to the information they submit being entered into a database and the Promoter may:
• use this information in any media for future marketing and publicity purposes, including for the purposes of conducting trade promotions and to announce the winning entrant and
• disclose this information to third parties, including but not limited to agents, contractors, service providers, prize suppliers and, as required, to Australian regulatory authorities, without any future reference or payment or other compensation to the entrant. All personal details of the entrant will be stored at the offices of the Promoter. A request to access, update or correct any information should be directed to that office. All entries become the property of the Promoter.
