Terms and Conditions
Information on how to enter forms part of the terms of entry. Entry into the competition is deemed acceptance of these terms and conditions.
Entry is only open to persons usually resident in the following postcodes: 2359 to 2490 and 4000 to 4950 ("Entry Region"). Directors, management, employees and their immediate families, of the Promoter, retailers, suppliers, associated entities and agencies associated with this promotion are ineligible to enter. Participants who are under the age of 18 must obtain the permission of their parent or guardian.
The Promoter is IGA Distribution Pty Ltd (QLD), 111-137 Magnesium Drive Crestmead, QLD, 4132 ABN 67 004 391 422.
The competition commences on Monday April 16, 2012 at 12.01 (AEST) and concludes on Sunday June 10, 2012 at 11.59pm (AEST).
The competition will be advertised on
www.igawinanaudi.com.au and in participating Supa IGA, IGA Xpress & IGA stores.
To enter, participants must either: (a) Make a purchase of $20.00 or more of any specially marked PZ Cussons products between 16/04/2012 and 10/06/2012 from any participating Supa IGA, IGA Xpress & IGA stores; (b) Retain your receipt as proof of purchase and visit
www.igawinanaudi.com.au between 16/04/2012 and 10/06/2012. Enter your details (including entrant's name, address, email address, phone number, store and State/Territory of purchase, purchase date and time along with the total purchase amount as shown on your qualifying purchase receipt).
Incomprehensible and incomplete entries will be deemed invalid.
Multiple entries will be accepted; however, each entry must correspond to a separate purchase receipt of $20 or more of PZ Cussons products during the Promotional Period and must be submitted as a separate entry. Further, there is a limit of five entries allowed per person per day
ENTRANTS MUST RETAIN ALL ORIGINAL PURCHASE RECEIPTS SHOWING THE QUALIFYING PURCHASE, CORRESPONDING STORE NAME AND DATE AND TIME OF PURCHASE TO CLAIM ANY PRIZE. PROMOTER RESERVES, IN ITS ABSOLUTE DISCRETION, THE RIGHT TO REQUEST ALL PURCHASE RECEIPTS FOR EVERY ENTRY MADE BY AN ENTRANT. FAILURE TO PROVIDE ALL PURCHASE RECEIPTS FOR EACH ENTRY WHEN REQUESTED MAY, IN THE ABSOLUTE DISCRETION OF THE PROMOTER, RENDER ALL AN ENTRANT'S ENTRIES INVALID AND FORFEIT THEIR RIGHT TO ANY PRIZE. PURCHASE RECEIPT(S) MUST CLEARLY SPECIFY THE STORE OF PURCHASE AND THAT THE PURCHASE WAS MADE DURING THE PROMOTION PERIOD BUT PRIOR TO ENTRY.
Entries are deemed to be received at the time of receipt into the promotion database and NOT at the time of transmission by the entrant. Any entry that is lodged by automatic, repetitive, robotic, programmed or similar entry methods or agents, including the use of a competition entry service, will be deemed invalid and thus void.
The Promoter reserves the right to request verification of age, identity, residential address of winner and any other information relevant to entry into or participation in this promotion. Verification is at the discretion of the Promoter, whose decision is final. The Promoter reserves the right to disqualify any individual who submits an entry that is not in accordance with these terms and conditions, or who is involved in any way in interfering or tampering with the conduct of this promotion. Failure by the Promoter to enforce any of its rights does not constitute a waiver of those rights.
Entries must be received by 11.59 (AEST) on Sunday 10, June 2012. The time of entry will in each case be the time the online entry is received. The Promoter accepts no responsibility for any late, lost or misdirected entries due to technical disruptions, network congestion or for any other reason.
Any entry that is made on behalf of an Entrant by a third party will be invalid.
The Major prize includes: An Audi A1 1.4 Turbo Attraction, in a Stronic Transmisson. The prize includes on road costs and delivery to the dealership nearest to the winner's residential address. Any inclusions which are not standard including but not limited to metallic paint options and other optional extras not stated in these terms and conditions are not included in the prize.
Total prize is valued up to $36,745 (including GST)
The prize cannot be transferred (unless matters relating to clause 17 apply) or redeemed for cash.
If the winner of the prize is under the age of 18 as at the date of the draw, the vehicle will be transferred into the name of the winner's parent or guardian until the winner turns 18 years of age.
Comprehensive insurance, additional options and all ancillary costs (including travel to and from the dealership) are the responsibility of the winner. Unless expressly stated in these terms and conditions all other expenses become the responsibility of the winner.
If the prize is unavailable, for whatever reason, the Promoter reserves the right to substitute the prize for a prize of equal or greater value, subject to State Regulation.
Entrants consent to the Promoter using their name, likeness, image and/or voice in the event that they are a winner in any media for an unlimited period of time without remuneration for the purpose of promoting this promotion (including any outcome) and/or promoting any products manufactured, distributed and/or supplied by the Promoter.
The prize value is based upon the recommended retail prices at the time of printing (inclusive of GST). The promoter accepts no responsibility for change in prize value between now and the ultimate prize redemption date.
Independent financial advice should be sought as tax implications may arise as a result of accepting the prize.
Each valid entrant who has entered the competition over the duration of the promotional period will be entered into the draw. 1 x valid entrant will be drawn at random to become the winner. The draw will take place at Salmat Limited, Level 2, 116 Miller Street, North Sydney NSW 2060, on Thursday June 14, 2012 at 2.00pm (AEST).
If any particular draw is scheduled on a public holiday, the draw will be conducted on the following business day.
The winner will be notified within 2 days of the draw. The winner will be notified of their prize in writing/email and phone. The winner will have their details published in the Public Notices section of The Australian newspaper on Thursday June 21, 2012.
The prize will be awarded to the person named in the entry.
Should an entrant's contact details change during the promotional period, it is the entrant's responsibility to notify the Promoter. A request to access or modify any information provided in an entry should be directed to Promoter.
Subject to any direction given under relevant State legislation, an unclaimed prize draw will take place at Salmat Limited, Level 2, 116 Miller Street, North Sydney NSW 2060 on Friday September 21, 2012 at 11.00am (AEST). The winner will be notified within 2 days of the draw. The winner will be notified of their prize in writing and have their details published in the Public Notices section of The Australian newspaper on Friday September 28, 2012.
It is a condition of accepting the prize that the winner must comply with all the conditions of use of the prize and the prize supplier's requirements.
It is a condition of accepting the prize that the winner may be required to sign a legal release in a form determined by the promoter in its absolute discretion.
In the case of the intervention of any outside act, agent or event which prevents or significantly hinders the Promoter's ability to proceed with the competition on the dates and in the manner described in these terms and conditions, including but not limited to vandalism, power failures, tempests, natural disasters, acts of God, civil unrest, strike, war, act of terrorism, the Promoter may in its absolute discretion cancel the competition and recommence it from the start on the same conditions, subject to any written directions given under State Regulation.
The Promoter shall not be liable for any loss or damage whatsoever which is suffered (including but not limited to indirect or consequential loss) or for any personal injury suffered or sustained in connection with any prize except for any liability which cannot be excluded by law.
The Promoter and their associated agencies and companies assume no responsibility for any error, omission, interruption, deletion, defect, delay in operation or transmission, communications line failure, theft or destruction or unauthorised access to, or alteration of entries, and reserves the right to take any action that may be available.
If for any reason this competition is not capable of running as planned, including due to infection by computer virus, bugs, tampering, unauthorised intervention, fraud, technical failures or any causes beyond the control of the Promoter, which corrupt or affect the administration, security, fairness or integrity or proper conduct of this promotion, the Promoter reserves the right in its sole discretion to disqualify any individual who tampers with the entry process, take any action that may be available, and to cancel, terminate, modify or suspend the competition, subject to any written direction given under State Regulation.
Details from entries will be collected and used for the purpose of conducting this promotion (which may include disclosure to third parties, including local lottery authorities, for the purpose of processing and conducting the promotion) and for promotional purposes surrounding this promotion. By entering this promotion entrants consent to the use of their information as described and agree that the Promoter may use this information, or disclose it to other organisations that may use it, in any media for future promotional, marketing and publicity purposes without any further reference or payment to the entrant. Entrants may access, change and/or update their personal information and obtain a copy of the Promoter's privacy policy by contacting the Promoter on (02) 9741 3000 during office hours.
By entering the promotion, unless otherwise advised, each entrant also agrees that the Promoter may use this information, in any media for future promotional, marketing and publicity purposes without any further reference, payment or other compensation to the entrant, including sending the entrant electronic messages.
