Legendary jazz pianist McCoy Tyner is performing at the Melbourne International Jazz Festival and we've got tickets to give away.

This unique performance brings together McCoy Tyner with vocalist Jose James and saxophonist Chris Potter, combining for a contemporary exploration of the classic 1963 album 'John Coltrane and Johnny Hartman'.

The original recording featured Coltrane's classic quartet with the addition of crooner Johnny Hartman and became an instant classic.

An Australian premiere, this trio has already performed at Festivals in London, Shanghai, San Francisco and Frankfurt.

This performance will be in the Melbourne Town Hall on Sunday June 3, 2012.
