Terms & Conditions of Entry
1. Information on how to enter and the prizes form part of these conditions of entry.
2. Entry is open to residents of Australia only.
3. Employees of the promoter, their immediate families and agencies associated with
this promotion are ineligible to enter.
4. The promotion starts Monday 7th May 2012 and
entries close midnight Sunday 20th May 2012.5. Only entries submitted on the Skagen website
www.skagen.com.au/thehoopla are eligible. For your entry to
qualify;
tell us your favourite delight of autumn in 25 words or less and include your name, email address and the
best daytime telephone contact number.
6. Judging of entries will be by a panel selected by the Promoter and commence on Thursday 24th May, 2012. This
will take place at the promoter’s premises and winners will be notifi ed by phone and/or email using the contact
details provided in their entry.
7. This is a game of skill, chance plays no part in determining the winner. Each entry will be individually judged on
literary and creative merit. The judge’s decision in relation to all aspects of the Promotion is fi nal and binding on all
who enter and no correspondence will be entered into.
8. The highest judged eligible entry will win a Skagen Denmark watch 358XSRLT $195 RRP, sunglasses S048-ADDG
$155 RRP and 4 pieces of jewellery - necklace JNSR035 $200 RRP, bracelet JBSR035 $130 RRP, earrings
JESR035 $100 RRP and ring JRSR035S $100 RRP.

The total prize pool is valued at AUD $880.00 RRP. The Promoter accepts no responsibility for any variation in
the prize value. The Prize or any unused portion of the prize is not transferable or exchangeable and cannot be
taken as cash.
10. The Promoter reserves the right, at any time, to verify the validity of entries and entrants (including an entrant’s
identity, age and place of residence) and to disqualify any entrant who submits an entry that is not in accordance
with these conditions of entry or who tampers with the entry process. Failure by the Promoter to enforce any of its
rights at any stage does not constitute a waiver of those rights.
11. To the fullest extent permitted by law, the Promoter including its offi cers, employees, and agents, excludes all liability
(including negligence), for any loss or damage or personal injury, arising in any way out of the Promotion, including,
without limitation: (a) any technical diffi culties; (b) entries or prize claims that are late, lost, damaged or misdirected
prior to their receipt by the Promoter, or after receipt due to reasons beyond the reasonable control of the Promoter;
(c) any variation in prize value to that stated in these conditions of entry; and (d) any tax liability incurred by a winner
or entrant.
12. Prize winners are advised that tax implications may arise from their prize winnings and they should seek independent
fi nancial advice prior to acceptance of their prize. In the event that a portion of the prize is awarded to the winner
in the form of a voucher / ticket / pass, redemption of that portion of the prize will be subject to the terms and
conditions stipulated on the voucher / ticket / pass. The Promoter will not be liable for any voucher / ticket / pass
that has been lost, stolen, forged, damaged or tampered with in any way.
13. All entries become the property of the Promoter. The collection, use and disclosure of personal information provided
in connection with this competition is governed by the Privacy Policy that can be found on the ‘Contact Us’ page of
the skagen.com.au website.
