PG Land Giveaway Terms and Conditions of Entry 1/03/2012

Information on ‘how to enter’ this competition forms part of the terms and conditions. Entry into the competition is deemed acceptance of these terms and conditions.
The competition commences on Wednesday 28 March 2012.
The Promoter is JPG Property Pty Ltd, ABN 90 151 666 616, Level 3, 338 Kent Street, Sydney 2000. Tel 1300 888 888
Entry is open to any Australian resident who is over the age of 18 years old and satisfies the other eligibility criteria below.
Employees and their immediate families of the Promoter, their agencies and companies associated with this competition are not eligible to enter. “Immediate family” means any of the following: spouse, parent, child or sibling.
To be eligible to draw entry, the entrant must agree to purchase one or more of the selected Lots and exchange contracts within 14 days of the contract issue date.  Settlement of each entrant’s purchase needs to occur within 21 days of registration of the plan of subdivision creating the Lot, and settlement is not dependent on the outcome of the draw. The contract will be issued by the Promoter’s solicitor CJ Boyd Solicitors and forms part of competition entry.
Lots eligible are the following lots in Stage 1 (The Orchard release &The Grove release), Ferrnville release, Vermont, Bootles Lane, Pitt Town, NSW 2756. Lot numbers eligible for competition entry are lots    1001 – 1031 inclusive, as per stage plan below.
 
 

Each Lot purchased carries one entry.  The selected Lot must be purchased at the asking price (inclusive of GST) of the Lot, unless otherwise agreed in the contract.  Any contractual price changes will negate entry into the competition – unless stated otherwise in said contract.
The competition will end on the earlier of Friday, 8 March 2013, or when all qualifying Lots are subject to contracts for sale.  Any Lot not subject to an exchanged contract prior to close of business on the last day the competition is open will not be eligible for the prize draw.
The draw will take place at 10am at the Vermont Sales Office, Hall Street, Pitt Town, NSW 2756 on Thursday 28th March 2013.
Entrants will be notified of the pending Draw Date to their nominated phone, email or postal address as supplied to the Promoter one week prior to event date.
The draw will be scrutinized by an independent person and the winner drawn from a barrel or similar container.
The winner will be selected from the barrel draw, and if not present, notified via telephone within two2 days of the draw. A public announcement will be inserted in the Hawkesbury Gazette and will also be displayed on the  Promoter’s website at www.jpgproperty.com.au.
There will be one  major prize winner comprising of the Lot that the winner has contracted to purchase.
The value of the prize is relevant to the purchased property of the winner.  Prize value is between $358,000 - $508,000.
The winner will receive their prize within six weeks of the Draw Date or within six weeks of all eligible lots having been sold whichever is the earlier. Note, this timeline is subject to the time required by the Land Titles Office to effect registration of the plan of subdivision creating the winner’s Lot.
If the contract for the winner’s Lot requires completion before the competition Draw Date, then the winner agrees to complete their purchase contract on the terms of the contract.  Following the Draw Date the winner will then receive a full refund of the purchase price paid.  However, any other fees or costs relating to that completed purchase contract such as stamp duty and legal costs, shall remain the responsibility of the winner.
If the contract for the winner’s Lot does not require completion before the competition Draw Date then the winner will be refunded the deposit moneys paid as stipulated on the contract and will not be liable to pay any further amount of the purchase price for the Lot. Normal adjustments for rates and taxes will apply as per the contract. The winner’s legal costs, stamp duty and any other fees payable by the winner in effecting the purchase of the Lot, will remain the responsibility of the winner.
Any monies owed will be paid in the form of cheque or EFT
Prizes cannot be transferred and cannot be redeemed for cash.
Should an entrant’s contact details change during the competition period, it is the entrant’s responsibility to notify the Promoter via email at marketing@jpgproperty.com.au
The Promoter’s decision is final and the Promoter will not enter into correspondence regarding the competition result.
All entries become the property of the Promoter. The Promoter collects personal information (phone number, address, etc) about you to enable participation into this competition. No further use of this information will be made without prior consent.
Entrants’ personal information may be disclosed to NSW Office of Liquor Gaming and Racing and winners’ names published as required under relevant lottery or gaming legislation. A request to access, update or correct any information should be directed to the Promoter.
Entrants will need to seek their own legal and tax advice with respect to the treatment of the Lot received by the winner.  The Promoter will not be liable to reimburse the winner for any fees, costs, stamp duty or other taxes, if applicable, that the winner becomes liable for due to this competition.
Printing errors or other quality assurance matters outside of the control of entrants must not be used as the sole basis for refusing to award the prize.
