STANDARD TERMS 1.1. Information on how to enter forms part of the terms of entry. 2. WHO CAN ENTER? 2.1. Subject to clause 2.2,
entry is open to all residents of Australia, who are over 18 years of age. 2.2. Employees and their immediate families Meyer Cookware Australia Pty. Ltd are not eligible to enter. 3. HOW TO ENTER 3.1. The Competition commences on 14th May 2012 at 09:00 AEDT
and concludes on 17th June 2012 at 23:59 AEDT (“Competition Period”). 3.2. To enter, entrants must register their entry as follows: a) Logon to
www.kitchenaidcookware.com.au/, follow the prompts, and complete the entry fields required. b) The Entrant must leave their full name, address (including postcode), email address and daytime telephone number (including STD area code). Entrants must also answer, “In 25 words or less, what would you combine then cook?” 3.3.
All Entrants in the Competition may enter only once. Multiple entries will be considered invalid. The competition is a game of skill and chance plays no part in determining the winner. 3.4. All entries must be received by 23:59 AEDT on 17th June 2012. 3.5. Entry details remain the property of the Promoter and Sponsor and will not be returned to the entrant. 3.6. The time of entry will in each case be the time indicated in the entry as received by the KitchenAid Cookware website address. 3.7. Entry into the Competition is free with the exception of any costs the entrant may incur for access to an internet provider, or server, is the responsibility of the entrant. 4. PRIZES 4.1.
There will be three (3) prize winners. The prize winners will receive the prize package, as set out in clause 4.2 below. 4.2. The Promoter accepts no responsibility for any change in prize value and the winner will not be entitled to any cash or substitute prize should any discrepancy in price occur between the date of printing these terms and conditions and the date of accepting the prize. 4.4. The winning Entrant should seek independent financial advice about any tax implications that may arise from the prize winnings. 4.5. Any additional expenses not outlined in these terms and conditions will be the responsibility of the winner. 4.6. The prize is non-transferable, non-refundable, and may not be redeemed for cash. 4.7. The Promoters accept no responsibility for any variation in the prize value. Entrants can unsubscribe from receiving correspondence from the Promoter via the unsubscribe link at the bottom of all electronic updates. 5. HOW TO WIN 5.1. There will be three (3) prize winners who will be selected from all entries received. Each entrant who has entered the Competition within the opening and closing dates and complied with all entry requirements will be entered into the pool of entries. Competition entries that do not contain the information required by clause 3.2 and 3.3, or that do not otherwise comply with these terms and conditions, may be deemed to be invalid at the Promoter’s absolute discretion. 5.2. Entries will be judged on the most creative response. The entries will be judged by the KitchenAid Brand Manager at Meyer Cookware Australia Pty Ltd. The best three (3) entries will be ranked according to this criterion. 5.3. The judging will take place at Meyer Cookware Australia Pty Ltd, 1-19 Merrindale Drive Croydon South VIC 3136 from 09:30 AEDT on 25th June, 2012 5.4. The winner will be notified by phone call and email within two (2) days of the draw and a letter advising the winner of their prize and delivery timeframe will also be discussed. The winners will also be published in The Australian newspaper on July 11th, 2012. 5.5. The Promoter may in its absolute discretion deem entries invalid subsequently to a Winner being notified or a Winner’s name being announced if it is discovered that the winner did not enter the Competition in accordance with these terms and conditions. In these circumstances, an additional draw will be conducted. 5.6. The promoter’s decision is final and the promoter will not enter into correspondence regarding the result. 5.7. It is a condition of accepting the prize that the winner (and any companions) must comply with all conditions of use of the prize and also the prize supplier’s requirements. 5.8. Subject to relevant legislation, if the winner is not contactable an unclaimed prize draw will take place at Meyer Cookware Australia Pty Ltd, 1-19 Merrindale Drive Croydon South VIC 3136 from 09:30 AEDT on 18th September 2012. The winner will be notified by mail and their details published in the Public Notes section of The Australian newspaper. The original winner will forfeit the prize and have no further claim as of this date. 6. NO LIABILITY 6.1. In the case of the intervention of any outside act, agent or event which prevents or significantly hinders the Promoter’s ability to proceed with the Competition on the dates and in the manner described in these terms and conditions, including but not limited to vandalism, power failures, tempests, natural disasters, acts of God, civil unrest, strike, war, act of terrorism, the Promoter may in its absolute discretion cancel the Competition and recommence it from the start on the same conditions. 6.2. Meyer Cookware Australia Pty Ltd and their associated agencies and companies will take no responsibility for prizes damaged or lost in transit, or late, lost or misdirected mail. 6.3. Meyer Cookware Australia Pty Ltd. and their associated agencies and companies will not be liable for any misadventure, accident, injury, loss (including but not limited to consequential loss) or claim that may occur: a) during the judging; b) as a consequence of late, lost or misdirected mail; c) due to the publication of any material, including any statements made by any compere, staff member, journalist, other entrants or any other person. d) in relation to failure of an entry message to be received by the Promoter on account of technical problems or traffic congestion; or e) arising from or related to any problem or technical malfunction of any computer equipment, software, internet connection, any injury or damage to entrant's or any other person's computer software related to or resulting from participation in this promotion.
