The Promotion is conducted by Woolworths Limited of 1 Woolworths Way, Bella Vista 2153 (“Promoter”).
Entry into the Promotion constitutes acknowledgement and acceptance of these terms and conditions. Information on how to enter, all entry instructions, advertising material and prize information published by the Promoter form part of these terms and conditions.
An Entrant is any person who has entered this Promotion in accordance with these terms and conditions. Entry is open to all Australian residents. Employees or directors of the Promoter, immediate family members of any employee or director of the Promoter, any retailer, supplier, associated company or agency of the Promoter and any person who the Promoter has previously notified are not eligible to enter.
Entry into the promotion is completed by answering the question underneath the relevant post for that particular week on the Woolworths Money Facebook page. Entries not completed in accordance with these terms and conditions are void. Entries will be deemed void if stolen, forged, mutilated or tampered with in any way.
The Promotion will be conducted in four consecutive stages (“Promotion Periods”) as follows:
Week 1 entries for the Promotion open at 10:00 (AEDT) on 12th June and close at 09:00 (AEDT) on 15th June 2012 (Week 1 Promotion Period).
Week 2 entries for the Promotion open at 10:00 (AEDT) on 19th June and close at 09:00 (AEDT) on 22nd June 2012. (Week 2 Promotion Period).
Week 3 entries for the Promotion open at 10:00 (AEDT) on 26th June and close at 09:00 (AEDT) on 29th June 2012 . (Week 3 Promotion Period).
Week 4 entries for the Promotion open at 10:00 (AEDT) on 3rd July and close at 09:00 (AEDT) on 6th July 2012. (Week 4 Promotion Period).
Entries must be posted strictly within the period (dates and times) as specified for each Promotion Period above. Any entry received outside of (either before or after) that period will not be valid for that or any other Promotion Period. Each entry will only be valid for the Promotion relating to the Promotion Period during which that entry was posted, and not for any subsequent Promotion Period (ie entrants will need to post a new entry in each Promotion Period to be in the running for that Week’s prize).
Judging for the prizes will take place at GHO Sydney, Level 10, 33 York Street Sydney at 09:30 (AEDT) each Friday for the month of June/First week in July 2012. The four prize winners will be published on the Woolworths Money Facebook page at 12:00 (AEDT) each Friday for the month of June/First week in July 2012.
The Entries judged by representatives of the Promoter and/or its agent to be the best response to the questions asked each week will be awarded a prize.
There are 4 prizes to be awarded for the Promotion. Each prize is a pre-loaded Single Load Prepaid MasterCard to the value of $100. Prizes are not transferable, exchangeable or redeemable for cash. Prize values are in Australian dollars. The winners will be contacted via Facebook to advise them that they have won the $100 prize.
Entrants are only permitted to register to participate in the promotion once per week. Entrants can only enter in their own name and their first response will be taken as their entry.
The Promoter reserves the right, at any time, to verify the validity of entries. The Promoter reserves the right to verify the Entrant’s identity particulars (including but not limited to an Entrant's identity, age and place of residence). Proof of identification, age, residency and entry considered suitable for verification is at the discretion of the Promoter.
The Promoter, its associated agencies and companies associated with this Promotion will take no responsibility for any prize(s) damaged or lost in transit. Once the prizes have left the premises of the Promoter, the Promoter’s associated agencies or the companies associated with this promotion, the Promoter, the Promoter’s associated agencies and the companies associated with this promotion will not be responsible for any delay, failure to deliver, or damage caused to the prize (s) during transit.
It is a condition of accepting the prize that the winner must comply with all the conditions of use of the prize and the prize supplier’s requirements.
The Promoter reserves the right in its sole discretion to disqualify any individual who it has reason to believe has breached any of these conditions, or engaged in any unlawful or other improper misconduct that may jeopardise the fair and proper conduct of the promotion. The Promoter's legal rights to recover damages or other compensation from any offender(s) are reserved. Failure by the Promoter to enforce any of its rights at any stage does not constitute a waiver of those rights.
If this Promotion is interfered with in any way or is not capable of being conducted as reasonably anticipated due to any reason beyond the reasonable control of the Promoter, the Promoter reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to the fullest extent permitted by law, and subject to any written directions from a regulatory authority, to modify, suspend, terminate or cancel the promotion as appropriate.
To the full extent permitted by law, the Promoter, the Promoter’s officers, employees and agents, the Promoter’s related companies and all those entities' personnel exclude all liability for any loss (including any damage, claim, injury, cost or expense, including loss of opportunity) which is suffered or incurred by any individual in connection with the Promotion or prizes, including but not limited to: (i) any direct, indirect, economic or consequential loss; (ii) any loss arising from the negligence; (iii) any liability for personal injury or death. Nothing in these conditions limit, exclude or modify or purports to limit, exclude or modify the statutory consumer guarantees as provided under the Competition and Consumer Act 2010 (Cth), as well as any other implied warranties under the ASIC Act or similar consumer protection laws in the States and Territories of Australia; (iv) any technical difficulties or equipment malfunction (whether or not under the Promoter's control); (v) any theft, unauthorised access or third party interference; any entry or prize claim that is late, lost, altered, damaged or misdirected (whether or not after their receipt by the Promoter) due to any reason beyond the reasonable control of the Promoter; (vi) any variation in prize value to that stated in these terms and conditions; (vii) any tax liability incurred by the winner or entrant; or (viii) any prize(s) or participation in or use of any prize(s).
The Promoter's decision in relation to any aspect of the competition is final and binding on every Entrant. No correspondence will be entered into.
All entries and entry details become the property of the Promoter. The Promoter may use the prize winner(s) personal details (including name, likeliness, image and/or voice) for any marketing and advertising (in any form of media) without payment or other compensation, unless the prize winner(s) advises the Promoter otherwise when accepting the prize. By entering the promotion, unless the Promoter is otherwise advised, Entrants consent to the Promoter using their personal information provided for facilitating the promotion, awarding prizes and for future promotional, marketing and publicity purposes, and disclosing that information to its related entities and contractors for those purposes, without payment or other compensation. The winner(s) personal information may be disclosed to State and Territory lottery departments as required by law. By entering the promotion, unless the Promoter is otherwise advised, Entrants consent to the Promoter sending future marketing materials to Entrants including by electronic messages. Entrants may ask the Promoter to access that personal information and request that corrections be made to it. A request to access, update or correct any information should be specifically directed to the Promoter.
