City West Water Direct Debit Promotion 2012 terms and conditions

1. Prizes
a. A main prize - for City West Water residential customers signing up to a direct debit arrangement with City West Water during the promotion period - is a holiday voucher from Jetset Airport West, valued at $15,000 (inclusive of GST). The voucher may be used in whole or in part and is valid for 12 months from the date of issue.
b. A minor prize - open to City West Water residential customers on a current direct debit arrangement as at 6 July 2012 (exclusive of residential customers signing up to a new direct debit arrangement during the promotion period) - is a holiday voucher from Jetset Airport West, valued at $5,000 (inclusive of GST). The voucher may be used in whole or in part and is valid for 12 months from the date of issue.
2. How to enter
a. Enter the Direct Debit Promotion ("Promotion") by submitting a hard copy application between 1 January 2012 and 6 July 2012 to pay your City West Water bills by Direct Debit by weekly, fortnightly, monthly or quarterly instalment. Customers with more than one property or account may wish to sign up to direct debit for more than one account; in this case, each account sign up is created as a new entry to the main prize draw. Application forms can be obtained by calling City West Water on 131 691, collected from City West Water's offices at 247-251 St Albans Road, Sunshine or downloaded from the City West Water website at
www.citywestwater.com.au.
b. Entry for current direct debit customers into the minor prize draw (see 1b.) will occur automatically. All customers with a direct debit arrangement will be automatically entered into the minor prize draw providing they have a current direct debit arrangement as at 6 July 2012.
3. Conditions of entry
a. City West Water must receive your application between 1 January 2012 and 6 July 2012.
b. The Promotion is open to City West Water residential customers only.
c. Residential customers already paying their bills by Direct Debit are not eligible to enter the main prize draw, but will be automatically entered into the minor prize draw. Customers cannot cancel their existing direct debit agreement in order to be eligible to enter into the main prize draw.
d. The direct debit application must be submitted in accordance with City West Water's Direct Debit terms and conditions and be approved by City West Water.
e. City West Water staff, suppliers and their immediate family members are not eligible to enter this Promotion.
4. Promotion dates
The Promotion begins on 1 January 2012 and ends 6 July 2012. Applications received after 6pm on 6 July 2012 will be processed but will not be eligible to go into the draws.
5. Prize draw
a. The winner of the main prize will be randomly drawn from all direct debit applications from City West Water residential customers received between 1 January 2012 and 6 July 2012.
b. The winner of the minor prize will be randomly drawn from all City West Water residential customers on a current direct debit arrangement as at 6 July 2012 (exclusive of residential customers signing up to a new direct debit arrangement during the promotion period).
c. The prize draws will take place at 2pm on 13 July 2012 at City West Water's office located at 247-251 St Albans Road, Sunshine, Victoria 3020.
6. Notification
Prize winners will be notified by telephone and in writing on 16 July 2012. The prize winners' details will also be published in the public notices section of the Herald Sun newspaper on Saturday 21 July 2012.
7. Unclaimed prizes
If one or both prizes remain unclaimed by 10 August 2012, another winner (or winners) will be drawn or notified by phone and in writing. The unclaimed prize draw(s) will take place at 2pm on 10 August 2012 at City West Water's office located at 247-251 St Albans Road, Sunshine, Victoria 3020. The prize winner(s) details will be published in the public notices section of the Herald Sun newspaper on Saturday 18 August 2012. If reasonable endeavours by City West Water to locate the winner(s) produces no results, City West Water reserves the right not to award the prize(s).
8. Information collected
Information collected for entry to the Promotion is for the express use of City West Water, for the establishment and continuance of a direct debit payment arrangement between the customer and City West Water.
9. Acceptance of terms and conditions
The information on how to enter and prizes form part of these terms and conditions. Participation in this promotion is deemed acceptance of these terms and conditions.
