Q1. Which Hobbysew stores are running the competition?
The following store locations are running the competition: Belconnen, Erina, Figtree, Hornsby, Kings Park, Penrith and Top Ryde.
Q2. When does the competition start and finish?
The competition starts on the 28/05/2012 and ends at 11:59pm AEST on 15/07/2012. In order to be in the draw to win you will need to be a Hobbysew V.I.P member and make a purchase of $50.00 or more from selected Hobbysew stores.
Q3. What do I go in the draw to win?
You will go in the draw to WIN a 55” Full HD LCD Okano Television valued at $1,000.
Q4. Do I need to keep my receipt?
Yes, you must keep your receipt for the duration of the promotion as if you are the winner you may be requested to show proof of purchase.
Q5. Are multiple entries permitted?
Each $50 or more purchase made in one transaction goes into the draw to WIN the prize. Multiple entries can be made if more than one transaction is made.
Q6. When will the prize be drawn?
The prize will be drawn at 2pm on Friday 20/07/2012 at Hobbysew Kings Park, Shop 1, 2 Garling Road Kings Park NSW 2148. The winner will be contacted by phone on Saturday 21/07/2012 and the winners name published on the Hobbysew website.
TERMS & CONDITIONS
Information on how to enter and the prize form part of these Terms and Conditions. Participation in this promotion is deemed acceptance of these Terms and Conditions.
Promotion commences on 28/05/2012 and ends at 11:59pm AEST on 15/07/2012. Consumers will need to enter in store at Hobbysew Belconnen, Erina, Figtree, Hornsby, Kings Park, Penrith or Top Ryde locations.
To be eligible, consumers must be a Hobbysew V.I.P member (if not a member, sign up in store) and purchase from any of the Hobbysew stores mentioned in Condition 2, item/s to the value of $50.00 or more. Only one entry permitted per sales transaction.
Entry is only open to Australian residents. Entrants under 18 years old must have parental/guardian approval to enter and further, the parent/guardian of the entrant must read and consent to all terms and conditions. Parents/guardians may be required by the Promoter to enter into a further agreement as evidence of consent to this Promotion. Employees (and their immediate families) of the Promoter and agencies associated with this promotion are ineligible to enter. Immediate family means any of the following: spouse, ex-spouse, de-facto spouse, child or step-child (whether natural or by adoption), parent, step-parent, grandparent, step-grandparent, uncle, aunt, niece, nephew, brother, sister, step-brother, step-sister or 1st cousin.
If the winner is under the age of 18 years, the prize will be awarded to the winner's nominated parent or guardian on their behalf.
The Promoter reserves the right, at any time, to verify the validity of entries and entrants (including an entrant's identity, age and place of residence) and to disqualify any entrant who submits an entry that is not in accordance with these Terms and Conditions or who tampers with the entry process. Errors and omissions may be accepted at the Promoter's discretion. Failure by the Promoter to enforce any of its rights at any stage does not constitute a waiver of those rights.
Multiple entries permitted, subject to the following: (a) only one entry permitted per specified purchase requirement; and (b) each entry must be submitted in accordance with entry requirements.
One eligible entry randomly drawn from all entries received during the Promotional Period will win a 55" Full HD LCD Okano Television valued at $1,000.
It is the responsibility of the entrant to provide the correct street delivery address and personal information in order to receive the prize.
The Prize will be issued within 28 working days and delivered by courier to the winner's street address.
The prize draw will take place 2pm on Friday 20/07/2012 and will be conducted by the Store Manager of Hobbysew Kings Park, Shop 1, 2 Garling Road Kings Park NSW 2148.The winner is not required to be present at the drawing of the competition.
The winner will be notified in writing and the winner’s name will be published in The Australian on Thursday 26/07/2012.
13. A draw for any unclaimed prize may take place at 2pm AEST on Monday 15/10/2012 at Hobbysew Kings Park, Shop 1, 2 Garling Road Kings Park NSW 2148. The winner, if any, will be notified in writing and the winner’s name published in The Australian on Thursday 18/10/2012.
The winner cannot exchange the prize for other goods or services including cash.
The Promoter collects personal information in order to conduct the promotion and may, for this purpose, disclose such information to third parties, including but not limited to agents, contractors, service providers, prize suppliers and, as required, to Australian regulatory authorities. Entry is conditional on providing this information. The Promoter may, for an indefinite period, unless otherwise advised, use the information for promotional, marketing, publicity, research and profiling purposes, including sending electronic messages or telephoning the entrant. Entrants should direct any request to access, update or correct information to the Promoter. All entries become the property of the Promoter.
Entrants consent to the Promoter using the entrant's name, likeness, image and/or voice in the event they are a winner (including photograph, film and/or recording of the same) in any media for an unlimited period without remuneration for the purpose of promoting this competition (including any outcome), and promoting any products manufactured, distributed and/or supplied by the Promoter.
The Promoter reserves the right to extend the closing date of the promotion subject to the relevant state authorities.
