How do you enter?
Using the entry forms below, simply upload a photo or video (using a YouTube or Vimeo URL) of your most memorable travel moments in Tasmania or on board Spirit of Tasmania. With your entry, tell us in 25 words or less about how your photo or video captures a trip to remember. You're welcome to submit multiple entries, but each entry must be different.
What do we want to see?
Spectacular photos and entertaining footage of your memorable moments in Tassie ranging from outdoor adventures, fun at the beach, embracing the nature or enjoying Tassie produce. We also want you to share your sailing experiences on board Spirit of Tasmania including - diving on board, cosy cabin moments, dining at the restaurant, strolling the deck …we want to see it all!
How will judging work?
Judging is based on which photo or video best captures the essence of a trip to remember on board Spirit Tasmania or in Tasmania. The judges consist of Spirit of Tasmania's Captain Stuart Michael, TasVacations General Manager Cameron Brett and Tasmanian lifestyle photographer Belinda Fettke (bphotography.net.au). They will be assessing creativity, originality, representation of Tasmania or Spirit of Tasmania and ability for the photo to capture ‘a trip to remember’. You, our fans, also get to decide on who wins the voters' choice prize. The entry with the most votes will win a $200 Spirit of Tasmania gift voucher.
What are the prizes?
One major holiday prize valued over $2800 - One winner will receive a return trip on Spirit of Tasmania for two adults in a Twin Porthole Cabin, including a car and meals in The Leatherwood Restaurant. Thanks to TasVacations, the Tasmanian travel experts (tasvacations.com) the prize also includes two nights accommodation at Sullivans Cove Luxury 5-star self-contained apartments in Hobart, in a one bedroom IXL Executive apartment. Plus, two nights accommodation at The Sebel Launceston in a one bedroom Deluxe Suite. Must be used by 1 August 2013.
Five runner-up prizes - Five runner-ups will receive a Hoyts Cinemas double pass and a Tasmanian confectionary hamper filled with $100 of the finest handcrafted chocolates from House of Anvers -open for delicious breakfasts from 7am daily. Find out more at anvers-chocolate.com.au
One voters’ choice prize - The entry with the most votes will win a $200 Spirit of Tasmania gift voucher so make sure you tell your friends to vote!
Can Tasmanians enter and win too? Of course! The major holiday prize inclusions are the same for Tasmanians, however the return trip with Spirit of Tasmania will depart from Devonport and accommodation components of the prize may be taken separately. If a runner-up is unable to use the Hoyts Cinemas double movie pass (available to use at CMAX in Devonport only), a Village Cinemas double movie pass will be offered instead.
