Terms & Conditions
1. Instructions on how to enter, prize details and other information contained within the promotional advertisements form part of these terms and conditions.
2. The Mundaring Truffle Festival Subscription offer is open to all WA residents aged 18 and over, living in a home delivery service area.
How to enter – New Customers
3. To be eligible for one of 50 double general admission passes to the 2012 Mundaring Truffle Festival, new customers must subscribe to a pre-paid home delivery package for $80 - The West Australian and The Weekend West Monday to Saturday for 8 weeks or The Weekend West only for 30 weeks before 4pm, Friday, July 13, 2012.
4. All pre-paid subscriptions must be paid for in advance before receiving the free Mundaring Truffle Festival passes. Payments can be made by credit card, cheque or money order by phoning customer service on 1800 811 855 or 9482 9032 and quoting “TRUFFLE” or entering details online at
www.thewest.com.au/homedelivery .
5. Stocks are strictly limited. The first 50 new customers who subscribe to the Mundaring Truffle Festival Subscription offer will receive a double pass (2 adult general admission tickets) to the 2012 Mundaring Truffle Festival. No additional stock will be sourced after this. The first 50 new customers will be determined by the time of payment of chosen pre-paid home delivery package. Simply lodging an enquiry for Home Delivery is not a valid pre-paid subscription offer.
6. The first 50 new customers and recipients of the double passes will be notified by telephone and passes will be sent via registered post.
How to enter – Existing Home Delivery Customers
7. An additional Major Prize is available for one (1) existing home delivery customer. The Major Prize consists of:
• 2 x tickets for the Truffle Masterclass on Saturday 28 July
• 2 x tickets for the Long Table Luncheon on Sunday 29 July
• VIP hospitality and Perth Hills Wine Show entry on the weekend
• Overnight accommodation on Saturday 28 July for 2 people at the Mahogany Inn in Mahogany Creek in their luxurious refurbished rooms

8. Existing home delivery customers who are registered on The West Australian home delivery database are automatically entered into the competition to win the Major Prize. Existing home delivery customers DO NOT need to enter via online or telephone. If you would like to confirm you are registered on this list please contact Customer Services Team on 1800 811 855 at The West Australian.
9. The Existing Home Delivery Customers winner’s draw will take place at 10am, Tuesday July 17, 2012 at The West Australian offices and the winner will be notified by telephone. The winner will be drawn randomly from the existing Home Delivery database.
General
10. Any additional costs incurred as a result of receiving the free gift will be at the expense of the customer.
11. Gifts are subject to the terms and conditions of participating service providers. The 2012 Mundaring Truffle Festival will be held on Saturday 28 & 29 July and will go ahead rain, hail or shine. No refund on tickets.
12. The gift must be taken as stated and is non-transferable, not exchangeable and not redeemable for cash.
13. It is a condition of entry that all prize winners agree to have their name and suburb published for publicity purposes if required. By participating in this competition, participants signify their acceptance of all conditions and the requirement to participate in promotional activity if required.
14. All subscribers release from, and indemnify the Promoter against, all liability, cost, loss or expense arising out of acceptance of any gift including (but not limited to) loss of income, personal injury and damage to property and whether direct or consequential, foreseeable, due to some negligent act or omission or otherwise.
15. The Promoter and associated agencies accept no responsibility for any loss, damage, accident, death or injury resulting from the promotion.
16. Participation in the Mundaring Truffle Festival Subscription offer constitutes the customer’s unconditional agreement to and acceptance of the Terms and Conditions. The Customer is responsible for insuring his or her familiarity with the Terms and Conditions. The Promoter’s decision not to enforce a specific restriction does not constitute a waiver of that restriction or of the Terms and Conditions generally.
17. The Promoter’s decision is final and cannot be contested. No correspondence will be entered into. The West Australian reserves the right to amend rules if considered necessary without notice.
