Scootleways Competition Terms & Conditions

 Conditions of Entry

 1. Information on how to enter and prizes form part of these Conditions of Entry. Entry into this competition constitutes acceptance of these conditions. Any entry not complying with these conditions will be deemed invalid.

 2. Entry is open to residents of Australia only. The directors, management and employees (and their immediate families) of the Promoter, their agencies and companies associated with this competition are not eligible to enter.

 3. The competition commences on Tuesday 19 June 2012 at 7.00am (AEST) and closes on Tuesday 14 August 2012 at 11:55pm (AEDST) (Competition Period).

 4. To enter, entrants must go to scootleways.com.au, enter their details. Once all details have been completed in full, they must press Submit to enter. Entries are deemed to be received at the time of receipt into the Promoter's database.

 5. Entry is limited to one entry per email address. Any form of automated entry using any other devices or software is invalid.

 6. All valid entries received by 11:55pm (AEDST) on 14 August 2012 will be entered into the draw which will take place by random computer selection. The draw will be supervised from 37 DeMille St, McDowall, Queensland and be completed by 5pm (AEDST) on 24 August 2012.

 7. The prize is a $250 gift card from the business of their choice of: Coles/Myer, David Jones, Bunnings, IHG Hotels, Harvey Norman, Barbeques Galore and Rebel Sport. Any other expenses are the responsibility of the prize winner.

 8. The winners will be notified by email and their names and postcode published on scootleways.com.au website from Friday 24 August 2012.

 9. The Promoter's decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into.

 10. The Promoter may require the winner to provide proof of identity, proof of age, and proof of residency. Identification considered suitable for verification is at the Promoter's discretion. To supply or attempt to supply misleading information or make any misrepresentation regarding an entry will result in an entrant being disqualified from this competition. In the event the first prize winner is under the age of 18, the prize will be awarded to the winner's parent/guardian on their behalf.

 11. The winner must, at the Promoter's request, participate in all promotional activity (such as publicity and photography) surrounding the winning of the prize, free of charge, and they consent to the Promoter using their name and image in promotional material. The Promoter reserves the right to refuse to allow a winner and companion to take part in any or all aspects of the prize if the Promoter determines, in its absolute discretion, that the winner and/or companion is not in the mental or physical condition necessary to be able to safely participate.

 12. The prize is not exchangeable or transferable and cannot be taken as cash. Where a prize is unavailable for any reason, the Promoter reserves the right to substitute that prize for another item of equal or higher value as determined by the Promoter.

 13. The Promoter accepts no responsibility for late, lost, incomplete, incorrectly submitted, delayed, illegible, corrupted or misdirected entries, claims or correspondence whether due to error, omission, alteration, tampering, deletion, theft, destruction, transmission interruption, communications failure or otherwise.

 14. The Promoter may, in its sole discretion, disqualify all entries from, and prohibit further participation in this competition by, any person who tampers with or benefits from any tampering with the entry process or with the operation of the competition or acts in violation of these conditions, acts in a disruptive manner or acts with the intent to annoy, abuse, threaten or harass any other person.

 15. If for any reason any aspect of this competition is not capable of running as planned for any reason, the Promoter may in its sole discretion terminate, modify or suspend the competition, or invalidate any affected entries.

 16. The Promoter and its associated agencies and companies shall not be liable for any loss or damage whatsoever (including, without limitation, indirect, special or consequential loss), expense, damage, personal injury or death which is suffered or sustained (whether or not arising from any person's negligence) in connection with this promotion or accepting or using any prize, except for any liability that cannot be excluded by law (in which case that liability is limited to the minimum allowable by law).

 17. All entries become the property of the Promoter. Information provided by entrants will be used by the Promoter and its associated agencies and companies; added to their databases for the purpose of communicating by email in the future. The Promoter may disclose entrants' personal information to contractors and agents it engages to assist it in conducting the competition or communicating with the entrants. A request to access, update, remove or correct any information should be directed to the Promoter at the address shown below.
