Some of Australia’s most loved actresses star in the new Australian comedy Biddies, which takes a light-hearted look at being female (and mature) in today’s world. Biddies, by renowned playwright Don Reid and Director Wayne Harrison, follows the award-winning comedy Codgers which dealt with the senior Aussie male. 

In Biddies, a group of ordinarily marvellous women find themselves back in their infants school classroom plying their needles in a good old-fashioned session of “stitch and bitch”. Their confessions are frank, their rivalries intense and their jokes outrageous. They discover a common frustration with the limitations of being female and mature in a world still largely defined by men. 

Hit is giving away four double passes to the performance on Wednesday, August 15 at 7:00pm at Her Majesty’s Theatre.
