The acclaimed Annie Lee returns to Brisbane Powerhouse from Wed 11 until Sat 14 July to perform the songs and stories of cabaret legend Agnes Bernelle – the woman who was the embodiment of the subversive side of German Cabaret. With the notoriously wry lyrics of 1930s poet Joachim Ringelnatz (as well as those of Marc Almond and Tom Waits), Annie is joined by three celebrated musicians who each bring their own richly layered twist to this curious and enchanting show.
