Entry into this competition is deemed to be an acceptance of these terms and conditions. This is a Game of Skill.
Entry is open to anyone who adopts any animal at Taronga or Taronga Western Plains Zoo and purchases a Zoo Parent product, from the Savannah level ($85) and above on the Taronga Zoo website or calls 02 9932 4342 and purchases a Zoo Parent product over the phone. Entry is open to purchasers adopting from the Savannah Level ($85) or above for themselves, or as a gift in the month of July 2012.
Entry is open to entrants of all ages.
PROMOTIONAL PERIOD: The Promotion commences on 1 July 2012 at 9.00am (AEST) and concludes on 31 July 2012 at 5:00pm (AEST).
HOW TO ENTER: To participate you must adopt any animal through the Zoo Parent program on the Taronga Zoo website, via the online shopping cart or by calling 02 9932 4342 and quoting one of the following codes; “LUK CHAI”, “PAINTING”, “ELEPHANT”, “ELEPAINTING”, “RENEWAL” Codes must be entered in the promotional code field online or quoted when placing your order over the phone. The adoption must be from the Savannah level ($85) or above. For a valid entry you must complete the adoption purchase via the online shopping cart on the Taronga Zoo website or by calling 02 9932 4342 and quote one of the above promotional codes. Entries must also, in 25 words or less explain why it is important that Taronga continues its vital conservation work with Asian Elephants. The winner will be judged by a panel of
Entry is not capped at one (1) per person, rather one per valid Zoo Parent adoption order, from the Savannah level ($85) or above, when placed via the online shopping cart on the Taronga Zoo website or over the phone when one of the promotional codes is entered or quoted at time of order.
The winner is drawn at random from the total pool of entrants at Taronga Zoo Mosman 2088 All final and valid entrants will be collected and the random winner will be drawn on 1 August 2012 at 9am AEST. The draw will take place at Taronga Zoo, Bradleys Head Road Mosman, NSW, 2088. All valid entries will be manually collected and pooled together, and one (1) winner will be manually selected at random from the pool of entries. The winner will be notified by email, telephone or mail by 1 August 2012. The winner will also be announced on Taronga.org.au by the 1 August 2012.
The Prize: the first (1st) entry randomly drawn from all valid entries will receive a framed original painting by Taronga’s Asian Elephant Luk Chai. This prize is valued at $149.95 (as June 2012) this painting can be viewed at
www.taronga.org.au/elepaitning. The painting is 30cm x 40cm in size.
Taronga Zoo is responsible for the delivery of prize to the winner’s nominated address at an agreed date and time, via a courier service arranged and paid for by Taronga Zoo. We will take no responsibility for prizes damaged or lost in transit.
Prize Terms of use: Once notified the winner will need to advise preferred time, date and address for the prize to be delivered via courier service. Winner must arrange for delivery to be accepted and sighed for. Alternatively, the winner may choose to collect prize from the Taronga Zoo Function Centre on Bradleys Head Road Mosman, Monday to Friday 9am-5pm, however entry to the Zoo grounds will not be permitted. Prize must be collected or delivered by 31 August 2012 Taronga Zoo will take no responsibility for prizes damaged in transit.
