It's been six years since the last Pole climbing race was held at the showgrounds. Be sure to grab a seat in the grand stand to watch the climber race up the 90FT poles in only minutes!
FMX Showtime Moto X
These Riders will demand your attention as they fly across the Skies of the Showgrounds.
With world class team riders who will amaze you with tricks like the holy grab, ruler, jack hammer and the crowd favourite back flips while being 12 meters in the air. Tricks are performed off specially designed ramps positioned 25 meters apart.
Aussie Farm Entertainment
Watch Tom Mauloni & his skillful Working Collie Dogs perform daily in the Main Arena. Watch the working dogs manoeuvre Indian running ducks in costumes through crowds and obstacles.
Tjapukai Dancers funded by FaHSCIA
Watch out for the Main Arena presentations featuring a live performance celebrating traditional Tjapukai corroborees and song, and a surprise "lighting of the fireworks". Don't forget to take part and paint your hand on the first ever "Welcome Community Wall' at the Cairns Show situated in the Heritage Area.
Chainsaw Competition
How fast can these high performance chainsaws slice through a timber log? You’d better not blink while the screaming machines spray woodchips everywhere and slice through the wood like it is butter.
