Terms and Conditions: Entry is only open to residents of NSW aged 18 years or over. Employees of Merck Sharp & Dohme (Australia) Pty Limited, its related companies, associated agencies, and their immediate family are ineligible to enter.
The promotion commences at 9am (AEST) on Monday 30th April 2012.
Entries close at 5pm (AEST) on Friday 27th July 2012 (the promotion period) To be eligible to win, entrants must go to our website at
www.winwithdemazin.com and complete all details on the entry form, answer the 25 word essay and submit the form.
One entry per participant is permitted. Multiple entries will be disqualified. The Promoter is not responsible for late, lost or misdirected entries.
There will be one draw to award a total of 50 prizes. The draw will be held on Monday 30th July 2012 at Cegedim Relationship Management, Level 2, 14–16 Suakin Street, Pymble NSW 2073 commencing at 3pm (AEST).
The best 50 valid entries responses drawn will win a Bebrite voucher valued at AUD $100 each (including plus GST) the prize is 1 x 2 hour Spring Clean which includes; full vacuuming, mopping all hard surfaces, sanitising and deodorising bathrooms, including grout and mould treatment, followed by dusting throughout; skirting boards and window sills, fans and light fittings dusted; all kitchen surfaces cleaned with bench tops sanitised and then wiped. The total prize value is AUD $5,000. Valid entries are those with all sections of the entry form complete, and the up to 25 word essay completed and judged to be one of 50 best responses. Invalid entries are ineligible to win any prize, entries with any incorrect answer or answers are invalid, illegible or incomplete entries are invalid. The judges’ decision is final. Prizes are non-transferable and cannot be redeemed for cash.
Winners will be notified by mail and their names published in The Australian newspaper on Friday 3rd August 2012.
In the event that there are any unclaimed prizes, a further draw will be held on Friday 2nd November 2012 at Cegedim Relationship Management, Level 2, 14–16 Suakin Street, Pymble NSW 2073 commencing at 12pm (AEST). All winners from such a draw will be notified in writing and their name and address will be published in The Australian newspaper on Friday 9th November.
To the extent permitted by law, Merck Sharp & Dohme’s liability in relation to this promotion and/or any of the prizes is limited to the cost of replacement of any benefit or prize won.
The Promoter collects entrants’ personal information in order to conduct the promotion. If the information requested is not provided, the entrant may not participate in the promotion. By entering the promotion, unless otherwise advised, each entrant also agrees that the Promoter and its service providers may use their personal information, in any media for future promotional, marketing and publicity purposes without any further reference, payment or other compensation to the entrant, including sending the entrant electronic messages. Entrants’ personal information may be disclosed to State and Territory lottery departments and winners’ names published as required under the relevant lottery legislation. A request to access, update or correct any information should be directed to the Promoter at their address set out below.
Merck Sharp & Dohme (Australia) Pty Limited will take no responsibility for prizes damaged in transit.
The prize remains the property of the Promoter until claimed by the prize winner.
The Promoter reserves the right to request the prize winners to provide proof of identity, proof of age and proof of residency at the nominated prize delivery address. Identification considered suitable for verification is at the discretion of the Promoter.
The prize winners are advised that tax implications may arise from their prize winnings and they should seek independent financial advice prior to the acceptance of the prize.
The Promoter reserves the right in its sole discretion to disqualify any individual who the Promoter has reason to believe has breached any of these conditions, or engaged in any unlawful or other improper misconduct calculated to jeopardise the fair and proper conduct of the promotion. The Promoter’s legal rights to recover damages or other compensation from such an offender are reserved.
If for any reason this promotion is not capable of running as planned because of infection by computer virus, bugs, tampering, unauthorised intervention, fraud, technical failures or any other causes beyond the control of the Promoter which corrupt or affect the administration, security, fairness, integrity or proper conduct of this promotion, the Promoter reserves the right to cancel, terminate, modify or suspend the promotion or to disqualify any individual who tampers with the entry process, subject to any written directions given under applicable State or Territory legislation.
