PIZZA HUT & BOURNE LEGACY” PROMOTION
TERMS AND CONDITIONS
1. Information on how to enter and the prize(s) form part of these Terms and
Conditions. Participation in this promotion is deemed acceptance of these Terms
and Conditions.
2. Entry is only open to Australian residents aged 18 years or over who are able to
travel to Sydney, NSW on 23/8/2012.
Employees (and their immediate families)
of the Promoter and agencies associated with this promotion are ineligible to
enter. Immediate family means any of the following: spouse, ex-spouse, de-facto
spouse, child or step-child (whether natural or by adoption), parent, step-parent,
grandparent, step-grandparent, uncle, aunt, niece, nephew, brother, sister, stepbrother, step-sister or 1
st
 cousin.
3. Promotion commences on 19/7/2012 and entries must be received by midday
AEST on 16/8/2012 (Promotional Period).

ENTRY
4. To be  eligible to enter, individuals must take an original photograph of
themselves re-enacting a sticky situation.
Entries depicting dangerous, illegal or
sexual scenarios will be disqualified. Entrants are encouraged to include BBQ
sauce in their photograph so they are eligible for all prize categories, as detailed
below. BBQ brands, logos, bottles, or any other recognisable branding or
signage must not feature in the photographs.
5. To enter, individuals must then, during the Promotional Period, access the
“Bourne Legacy” Facebook application (Application) on the Pizza Hut Facebook
page on  www.facebook.com/pizzahutaustralia  (Facebook Page). Individuals
must then “Like” the Facebook Page and using the Application, complete the
entry form, upload their photograph and submit the fully completed entry form.
Uploaded photographs must be submitted in JPEG, GIF, PNG format.
6. During the Promotional Period, the Promoter will  display entries on the
Application and on Facebook for public viewing and voting. By entering this
promotion, entrants consent to the Promoter publishing their entry on the
Application and on Facebook.
7. Only one (1) entry permitted per person.
8. If there is a dispute as to the identity of an entrant, the Promoter reserves the
right, in its sole discretion, to determine the identity of the entrant.
MINOR PRIZES
9. The Minor Prize element of the promotion is a game of skill and chance plays no
part in determining the Minor Prize winners.   
During the Promotional Period the judges will individually judge each entry based
on originality,  creativity and best use of BBQ sauce. The best entries, as
determined by the judges, will be deemed Minor Prize winners. Minor Prize
winners will be notified in writing. The judges reserve the right to select additional
reserve entries which they determine to be the next best, and record them in
order, in case of an invalid entry or ineligible entrant.
11. Minor Prizes to be awarded are as follows:
a. 25 x sets of original 3 Bourne films on DVD valued at $57 each;
b. 25 x Bourne reversible T-shirts valued at $39 each;
c. 25 x Bourne novels valued at $24 each; and
d. 100 x double in-season movie passes valued at $38 each. Any ancillary
costs associated with redeeming the passes are not included. Any unused
balance of the passes will not be awarded as cash.  Each pass can be
used to redeem two (2) tickets to see The Bourne Legacy at any
participating cinema including: Hoyts & AMC Cinemas, Event, Greater
Union and Birch Carroll & Coyle Cinemas, Reading Cinemas, Village
Cinemas, Wallis Cinemas, Grand Cinemas and participating independent
cinemas.  Not valid at: Cinema Nova, State Cinema Hobart, United
Cinemas, Roseville Cinema and Hayden Orpheum Cremorne. Event
Cinemas Gold Class, Vmax, Greater Union and Birch Carroll & Coyle Gold
Class, Vmax or Village Cinemas Gold Class or Vmax. Not valid at IMAX,
Hoyts La Premiere, Directors Suite, Bean Bag Cinema, Xtremescreen,
Reading Gold Lounge, Titan XC, Cinema Nova, Nova Deluxe and Hayden
Orpheum Cremorne. The pass is valid from opening day 16/8/2012 for the
entire theatrical season. Not valid on public holidays or Fridays and
Saturdays after 5pm. Not valid on cinema discount days or with any other
offer. Redemption of the passes is subject to any terms and conditions of
the issuer including those specified on the passes.
12. Total Minor Prize pool value is $6,800. Minor Prizes are not transferable or
exchangeable and cannot be taken as cash.
MAJOR PRIZES
13. Two (2) Major Prize winners will be determined in the promotion: a) the public
voted winner; and b) the judges winner.

14. Public Voted Winner: Other Facebook users can vote for entries by visiting the
Application. In order to vote, other Facebook users must then, during the
Promotional Period, follow the prompts to click on the entry’s ‘vote button. The
user will be required to ‘like’ the Pizza Hut Australia Facebook page
(www.facebok.com/pizzahutaustralia) before they can vote.
15. Multiple votes are permitted, subject to the following: (a) other Facebook users
are only be permitted to vote once per day; and (b) each vote must be submitted
separately and in accordance with voting requirements and these  Terms and
Conditions. Votes will be automatically calculated through the Application. The entrant whose entry receives the highest total number of valid votes at the end of
the Promotional Period, will, subject to verification by the Promoter, be deemed a
Major Prize winner. The judges reserve the right to record entrants in order of
total number of valid votes received, in case of an invalid entry or ineligible
entrant.
16. In the event of a tie to determine the winner, tied entries will be individually
judged by the judges based on originality, creativity and best use of BBQ sauce.
The best entry, as determined by the judges, will be deemed a Major Prize
winner.
17. Judges Winner: At the end of the Promotional Period, each entry  (excluding the
Public Voted Winner) will be individually judged based on originality, creativity
and best use of BBQ sauce. The best entry, as determined by the judges, will
also be deemed a Major Prize winner. The judges reserve the right to select
additional reserve entries which they determine to be the next best, and record
them in order, in case of an invalid entry or ineligible entrant.
18. Major Prize winners will be notified by telephone and in writing within two (2)
business days of the judging, and their names will be published in The Australian
on 20/8/2012.
MAJOR PRIZE – CASH GRAB BOOTH
19. The two (2) Major Prize winners will each win the opportunity to attend the
promotional event and enter the ‘Cash Grab Booth’ (Booth) for the chance to win
up to $5,000. The event will take place at Wynyard Park, Wynyard Street,
Sydney NSW on 23/8/2012.

20. In order to participate in the event, if a Major Prize winner resides outside of
Sydney NSW, he/she will receive one (1) return economy airfare from his/her
nearest capital city in Australia to Sydney NSW on 23/8/2012 valued at up to
$2,726 depending on point of departure. If the Major Prize winner resides within
Sydney NSW, the Major Prize winner will be responsible for transport to and from
the event. Spending money, meals, taxes (excluding airline and airport taxes),
insurance, transport to and from departure point, transfers, items of a personal
nature and all other ancillary costs are not included. Itinerary to be determined by
the Promoter in its absolute discretion. Frequent flyer points will not form part of
the prize. Prize is subject to the standard terms and conditions of individual prize
and service providers. 
21. If a Major Prize winner cannot attend the event, the Major Prize winner may
appoint a proxy over 18 years of age to attend the event and partake in the Booth
on his/her behalf, provided the Major Prize winner gives the Promoter written,
signed notice to that effect before the start of the event. For the avoidance of
doubt, the Major Prize winner will be awarded the prize, and not the proxy. 22. The  Booth is a  capsule which contains ‘Dollar vouchers’ (which are not legal
tender). For each Major Prize winner, and each new activation of the Booth, the
Booth will have Dollar vouchers totaling $5,000.
23. Each activation of the Booth will proceed as follows:
a. a Major Prize winner will be fitted with protective glasses, doused in BBQ
sauce and asked to step into the Booth;
b. the Booth will be activated and air will be blown from the bottom, circulating
Dollar vouchers around the Booth;
c. the Major Prize winner will have sixty (60) seconds to grab as many Dollar
vouchers as possible; and
d. sixty (60)  seconds  commences once the wind in the Booth is fully
functional (as determined and advised by the Promoter) and shall continue
for a continuous uninterrupted period of time.
24. Each Major Prize will be determined according to the following:
a. any Dollar vouchers held in a Major Prize winner’s hands, between their
legs or under their arms or stuck to their clothing ONLY at the end of a
Booth activation will be deemed valid and form the Major Prize winner’s
prize;
b. the Promoter reserves the right to exclude Dollar vouchers that are not
held correctly by any Major Prize winner, in its sole discretion.
c. the Major Prize winner must not store collected Dollar vouchers within their
mouth; and
d. any  Dollar vouchers collected after the conclusion of or before the
commencement of the sixty (60) second period will not be included in the
Major Prize winner’s prize, and may result in disqualification of the Major
Prize winner.
25. Major Prize winners acknowledge that participating in the Booth may involve a
dangerous activity, which may result in injury or harm, and participate at their
own risk. Each Major Prize winner must: (a) must attend any appropriate
briefings, safety demonstrations and other requirements of the Promoter; (b)
must declare to the Promoter any health-related issues that may affect his/her
safe participation in the Booth and obtain a written clearance from their doctor in
this respect; (c) must not have any heart condition or history thereof, or other
medical conditions that would make it dangerous to participate in the Booth; (d)
must not be under the influence of any drugs or alcohol; (e) must comply with all
directions of the Promoter; and (f) must wear all safety and other equipment
required. The Promoter in its absolute discretion: (a) reserves the right to refuse
to allow a Major Prize winner to take part in any or all aspects of the Booth if it
reasonably believe the Major Prize winner poses a safety risk or for any other
reason; and (b) may cancel the Booth activation if the conditions are deemed
dangerous. If a Booth activation is varied for any reason beyond the control of
the Promoter it may not be rescheduled and in which case, no compensation will
be offered. 26. The Promoter will not be liable for any damage to a Major Prize winner’s clothing,
as a result of participation in the Booth. 
27. The Promoter and event organisers hereby expressly reserve the right to eject
any Major Prize winner for any inappropriate behaviour, including but not limited
to intoxication, whilst participating in any element of the event. 
28. Total prize pool value of Dollar vouchers will not exceed $5,000 for each Booth
activation. The Dollar vouchers will be exchanged for cash at the end of the
Major Prize winner’s participation in the Booth. Major Prizes are not transferrable
or exchangeable. Total prize pool for Major Prizes is up to $15,452
SPECIAL BOOTH ROUND
29. At the end of each Major Prize winner’s Booth activation, the remaining Dollar
vouchers (i.e. Dollar vouchers which have not been won by a Major Prize winner)
will  be  collected by the Promoter (Remaining Dollar Vouchers). Once both
Major Prize winners have completed their Booth activation, the Promoter will
place the Remaining Dollar Vouchers in the Booth. The Promoter will then
individually judge the individuals in the crowd at the event, based on most
enthusiastic individuals, to determine up to four (4) individuals (“Crowd
Entrants”) who will be asked to participate in a “Special Booth”.   
 
30. Crowd Entrants will enter the Special Booth in order of judging. The activation of
the Special Booth will proceed as follows:
a. the first judged  Crowd Entrant  will  be  fitted with protective glasses  and
asked to step into the Special Booth;
b. the Special Booth will be activated and air will be blown from the bottom,
circulating Remaining Dollar Vouchers around the Special Booth;
c. the  Crowd Entrant will  have  fifteen (15) seconds to grab as many
Remaining Dollar Vouchers as possible;
d. fifteen (15)  seconds  commences once the wind in the Special Booth is
fully functional (as determined and advised by the Promoter) and shall
continue for a continuous uninterrupted period of time; and
e. once a Crowd Entrant’s allocated time in the Special Booth is completed,
the next judged Crowd Entrant will enter the Special Booth for their turn
and so on, until all Crowd Entrants have participated in the Special Booth
activation, and there are Remaining Dollar Vouchers in the Special Booth.
31. Each Crowd Entrant’s prize will be determined in the same manner as the Major
Prize winners’, however Special Booth activation will only be for fifteen (15)
seconds.  Each  Crowd Entrant’s available prize will be determinant on the
Remaining Dollar Vouchers in the Special Booth during their turn.
32. Clauses 25, 26, and 27 apply equally to Crowd Entrants and the Special Booth.
33. The Remaining Dollar Vouchers will be exchanged for cash at the end of the
Crowd Entrants’ participation in the Special Booth. Crowd Entrants’ prizes are not
transferrable or exchangeable.  ENTRY AND VOTING VERIFICATION
34. The Promoter reserves the right, at any time, to verify the validity of entries,
votes, voters and entrants (including an entrant’s identity, age and place of
residence) and to disqualify any entrant or voter who submits an entry or vote
that is not in accordance with these Terms and Conditions or who tampers with
the entry or voting process. Errors and omissions will be accepted at the
Promoter's discretion. Failure by the Promoter to enforce any of its rights at any
stage does not constitute a waiver of those rights.
35. Incomplete, indecipherable, inaudible or illegible entries/votes will be deemed
invalid.
36. The Promoter reserves the right, at any time, to invalidate any votes which it
reasonably suspects have been submitted using false, incorrect, fraudulent or
misleading information, including but not limited to personal details and contact
information and/or votes that have been submitted through the use of multiple
identities, email addresses or accounts, including but not limited to social
networking accounts and/or (b) to disqualify any entrant (or invalidate his/her
entry) that the Promoter reasonably suspects has paid, bartered or offered
payment or other consideration to another person in exchange for votes or has
otherwise encouraged or procured any person to submit votes contrary to these
Terms and Conditions. 
GENERAL
37. The Promoter’s decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into.
38. When an entrant submits any materials via the promotion including comments,
recordings and images (Content), the entrant, unless the Promoter advises
otherwise, licenses and grants the Promoter, its affiliates and sub-licensees a
non-exclusive, royalty-free, perpetual, worldwide, irrevocable, and sub-licensable
right to use, reproduce, modify, adapt, publish and display such Content for any
purpose in any media, without compensation, restriction on use, attribution or
liability. Entrants agree not to assert any moral rights in relation to such use and
warrant that they have the full authority to grant these rights.
Entrants agree that they are fully responsible for the Content they submit. The
Promoter shall not be liable in any way for such Content to the full extent
permitted by law. The Promoter may remove any Content without notice for any
reason whatsoever. Entrants warrant and agree that: (a) they will not submit any
Content that is unlawful or fraudulent, or that the Promoter may deem in breach
of any intellectual property, privacy, publicity or other rights, defamatory,
obscene, derogatory, pornographic, sexually inappropriate, violent, abusive,
harassing, threatening, objectionable with respect to race, religion, origin or
gender, not suitable for children aged under 15, or otherwise unsuitable for
publication; (b) they will obtain prior consent from any person or property that
appears in their Content; (c) they will obtain full prior consent from any person who has jointly created or has any rights in the Content, to the uses and terms
herein; (d) their Content shall not contain viruses or cause injury or harm to any
person or entity; and (e) they will comply with all applicable laws and regulations,
including without limitation, those governing copyright, content, defamation,
privacy, publicity and the access or use of others' computer or communication
systems.
Without limiting any other terms herein, the entrant agrees to indemnify the
Promoter for any breach of the above terms.
39. Entrants consent to the Promoter using their name, likeness, image and/or voice
in the event they are a winner (including photograph, film and/or recording of the
same) in any media for an unlimited period without remuneration for the purpose
of promoting this promotion (including any outcome), and promoting any products
manufactured, distributed and/or supplied by the Promoter.
40. If this promotion is interfered with in any way or is not capable of being
conducted as reasonably anticipated due to any reason beyond the reasonable
control of the Promoter, including but not limited to technical difficulties,
unauthorised intervention or fraud, the Promoter reserves the right, in its sole
discretion, to the fullest extent permitted by law: (a) to disqualify any entrant; or
(b) to modify, suspend, terminate or cancel the promotion, as appropriate.
41. Any cost associated with accessing the promotional website is the entrant’s
responsibility and is dependent on the Internet service provider used. The use of
any automated voting software or any other mechanical or electronic means that
allows an entrant to automatically vote repeatedly is prohibited and will render all
votes submitted by that entrant invalid.
42. Nothing in these Terms and Conditions limits, excludes or modifies or purports to
limit, exclude or modify  the statutory consumer guarantees as provided under
the Competition and Consumer Act, as well as any other implied warranties
under  the  ASIC Act or similar consumer protection laws in the State and
Territories of Australia (Non-Excludable Guarantees). Except for any liability
that cannot by law be excluded, including the Non-Excludable Guarantees, the
Promoter (including its respective officers, employees and agents) excludes all
liability (including negligence), for any personal injury; or any loss or damage
(including loss of opportunity); whether direct, indirect, special or consequential,
arising in any way out of the promotion.
43. Except for any liability that cannot by law be excluded, including the NonExcludable Guarantees, the Promoter (including its respective officers,
employees and agents) is not responsible for and excludes all liability (including
negligence), for any personal injury; or any loss or damage (including loss of
opportunity); whether direct, indirect, special or consequential, arising in any way
out of:  (a) any technical difficulties or equipment malfunction (whether or not
under the Promoter’s control); (b) any theft, unauthorised access or third party
interference; (c) any entry or prize claim that is late, lost, altered, damaged or
misdirected (whether or not after their receipt by the Promoter) due to any reason beyond the reasonable control of the Promoter; (d) any variation in prize value to
that stated in these Terms and Conditions; (e) if the event is cancelled or delayed
for any reason beyond the reasonable control of the Promoter; (f) tax liability
incurred by a winner or entrant; or (g) use of a prize.
44. As a condition of accepting a Major Prize, a winner must sign any legal
documentation as and in the form required by the Promoter and/or prize
suppliers in their absolute discretion, including but not limited to a legal release
and indemnity form. 
45. The Promoter collects personal information in order to conduct the promotion and
may, for this purpose, disclose such information to third parties, including but not
limited to agents, contractors, service providers and prize suppliers. Entry is
conditional on providing this information. The Promoter may, for an indefinite
period, unless otherwise advised, use the information for promotional, marketing,
publicity, research and profiling purposes, including sending electronic messages
or telephoning the entrant. Entrants should direct any request to access, update
or correct information to the Promoter. All entries become the property of the
Promoter.
46. Entry, voting and continued participation in the promotion is dependent on
entrants and voters following and acting in accordance with the Facebook
Statement of Rights and Responsibilities, which can be viewed at
www.facebook.com/terms.php.
47. This promotion is in no way sponsored, endorsed or administered by, or
associated with, Facebook. Entrants understand that they are providing their
information to the Promoter and not to Facebook. The information an entrant
provides will only be used for the purposes outlined in these Terms and
Conditions. Any questions, comments or complaints about this promotion must
be directed to the Promoter and not to Facebook. Facebook will not be liable for
any loss or damage or personal  injury which is suffered or sustained by an
entrant, as a result of participating in the promotion (including taking/use of a
prize), except for any liability which cannot be excluded by law.
