A unique celebration of everything Italian is arriving in Melbourne at the city’s historic Royal Exhibition Building from 10 – 12 August. La Dolce Italia will showcase the finest Italian food, wine, fashion, sports, tourism, arts and crafts.
La Dolce Italia will become Australia’s premier celebration of the Italian lifestyle. An estimated 25,000 people are expected to pass through the doors to sample Italian products, witness stunning fashion shows, participate in competitions or attend one of the many masterclasses on offer.
La Dolce Italia is a great family event, a big crowd pleaser where children are most welcome. Bring your kids and leave them to participate and have fun in our Bambini World play area with activities on offer including face painting, mosaics, Italian story-telling, dancing and puppet making. These activities will provide positive social interaction among your children and encourage them to stretch their artistic imaginations!
This focus on family is the reason behind selecting the Alannah & Madeline Foundation as the official charity partner. The safety of children is something La Dolce Italia’s team is passionate about and they are proud that this event will help support the foundation in keeping children safe from violence.

To win a Family Pass to La Dolce Italia, tell us in 25 words or less what is your favourite Italian food and why? Winners will have the opportunity to attend La Dolce Italia on Saturday 11th of August between 12pm-4pm. By entering you agree to the following terms and conditions.
The competition starts 23rd July
and ends at midnight on the 5th August 2012.There will be 3 individual winners, each of a Family Pass to La Dolce Italia.
You can enter as many times as you want. All entries will be judged on skill and chance takes no place in the judging process.
Winners will be notified by Monday 6th August 2012
