Most dads love to get stuck into DIY and tend to see the shed, garage or workshop as a special place, the original man cave. It’s a place to be creative, to fix things that are broken, to turn something useless into a functional object and to make items that will be used and valued by the family.
To celebrate Father’s Day and all the good work that dads do, Handyman is giving you the chance to bring home the ultimate handy prize for the man of the house. You could win more than $2000 worth of DIY and gardening tools and equipment by sharing your own family home improvement legacy. Tell us the DIY advice that’s been passed down through your family in 50 words or less for your chance to win. Competition closes August 28th, 2012-----------------------------------------------------------------------
