9. Prize Choices 1, 2, 3 & 5 must be booked and completed by 30 June 2013. Prize Choice 4 must be booked before 31 December 2013. Each Prize Choice is subject to booking availabilities & any specific conditions.
10. Each Winner and their nominated travelling companions must travel at the same time, must depart from the same capital city and are responsible for transport from their residence, to their nearest capital city for flight departure. Air tickets are for economy travel on the regular scheduled services of each airline, selected by the Promoter’s Agent and are subject to seasonal embargos. Flight itineraries may need to be adjusted, depending on the Airline's departure City and current flight schedule. The Promoter makes no representation as to the safety, conditions or other issues that may exist at any destination.
Frequent Flyer points are not available from any Airline in respect of flights awarded under this Promotion. A credit card imprint or cash deposit may be required from each Winner at check-in to hotels and with hire car Companies, which may be used to incidental charges (which are not included in the Prize). If a Winner selects a Prize which includes Car Hire, the Winner will be given funds to carry out the Hire Agreement themselves, agreeing to the Conditions of the Hire Company.
Once accommodation is paid for this cannot be changed. It is the travellers' personal responsibility to ensure that they have valid documentation, including valid passports and visas, which meet the requirements of immigration and other government authorities at every destination. Any fines, penalties, payments or expenditures incurred as a result of such documents not meeting the requirements of those authorities will be the sole responsibility of each of the Winners.
International travel advice can be obtained from various sources, including government, local consular offices and the web site of the Australian Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade.
Travel must be taken at the time specified by the Promoter and must coincide with the dates specified in these Terms and Conditions.
If the Winner and their travelling companion is, for whatever reason, unable to travel on a nominated date, or do not take an element of any Prize Choice within the time stipulated by the Promoter, that element of that Prize Choice will be forfeited by the Winner. Cash will not be awarded in lieu of any element of any Prize Choice or any element thereof with the exception of Petrol.
11. Changes and cancellations to any booking may be subject to fees payable by the winner. Unless otherwise specified, spending money, meals, taxes (other than airline/airport taxes), insurance, passports, visas, vaccinations, transport to and from departure point, transfers, items of a personal nature, in-room charges and all other ancillary costs are not included. Unless otherwise stated in the Prize details, flights are based on departures from a pre-determined airport, detailed within the Prize details.
Travel insurance is highly recommended to be taken out by each Winner, to protect against the additional costs incurred in the event of unforeseen circumstances. If any part of any Prize is unavailable, the Promoter, in its discretion, reserves the right to substitute any Prize (or any part of the Prize) with an element to the equal value and/or specification, subject to any law or written directions from a regulatory authority.
12. In the event that for any reason whatsoever any Winner does not claim, use or accept any Prize Choice at or within the time stipulated by the Promoter, that Prize Choice will be forfeited by the Winner.
13. If any Prize Choice is not claimed by Wednesday 6 March 2013, the Promoter may conduct such further draws at 15 Grosvenor Street, Neutral Bay NSW 2089 as may be necessary to apportion any unclaimed Prize Choice. The Promoter will comply with any applicable legislation regarding any unclaimed Prize Choice and any written directions of any competent authority in that regard. If permitted by the applicable legislation, the Promoter will conduct a redraw on Wednesday 20 March 2013 at 3.00pm (AEDST).
Any winner will be notified by email within 2 working days of the draw and the winner’s name will be published on the Blackmores website:
www.blackmores.com.au/terms/moretoexplore and in the Public Notices section of The Australian on Wednesday 27 March 2013. Eligible Entrants are responsible for keeping the Promoter informed of any changes to their contact information during and immediately following the Promotion Period. To claim the Prize, the winner must respond to the notification in the manner which will be set out in the notification letter.
14. To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Promoter, its employees and associated agencies disclaim liability for any loss or damage whatsoever (including but not limited to indirect or consequential loss) or for any personal injury may be suffered or sustained in connection with any entrant’s participation in this Promotion or the acceptance of any Prize Choice.
Each Winner indemnifies the Promoter, its employees and associated agencies against any liability, injury, loss or damage which may be suffered, incurred or sustained by the Promoter, its employees or associated agencies arising out of, relating to, or in any way connected with, any act or omission (including negligence) by the Winner.
15. No responsibility is accepted by the Promoter or its agents for late, lost or mis-directed email.
16. The Promoter is not responsible for any problems or technical malfunction of any telephone network or lines, computer online systems, servers, or providers, computer equipment, software, technical problems or traffic congestion on the internet or at any website, or any combination thereof, including any injury or damage to participants or any other person’s computer related to or resulting from participation in or down-loading any materials in this competition.
17. If for any reason this competition is not capable of running as planned including infection by computer virus, bugs, tampering, unauthorised intervention, fraud, technical failures or any other causes beyond the control of the Promoter which corrupt or affect the administration security, fairness integrity or proper conduct of this competition, the Promoter reserves the right in its sole discretion to disqualify any individual who tampers with the entry process.
18. The Promoter collects personal information from all participants in order to conduct the Promotion. If the information requested is not provided, the participant may not participate in the Promotion or claim a Prize choice. Their entry will be discarded. It is a condition of entry into the Promotion that the Winner consents to the publication of their name and city of origin in any advertisements or articles relating to the Promotion or the Prize and participates in any media releases, which may include photographs of the Winner by the Promoter.
